About: Hi there, fellow Fur Families! My name is Jenna and I am an animal enthusiast and experienced animal care provider. I have experience caring for all types of domestic pets (plus experience with exotics and wildlife!) I have volunteered for zoos in both Florida and Alabama as well as a wildlife center, also serving as a docent for the Gulf Breeze Zoo many years ago. I missed my calling earlier in life to be a veterinarian, so I am getting ready to go back to school to first obtain a masters in zoology then work my way toward veterinary school. I do not remember a time in my life when I wasn't taking care of animals. I am from a family of small dog breeders, first with cocker spaniels when I was very young and then with schnauzers into my teen years. I assisted with births and puppy care starting when I was a young teen and spent my younger years spending all of my time with our cats and dogs. I started grooming our schnauzers when I was 12 and worked for a groomer for a short time when I was in college. Family and friends consistently come to me with any of their pet questions (particularly when related to dogs) and I am usually their first choice for caring for their pets when they are out of town. I share my home in Groveland with a 15 year old son (who is also a huge animal lover, like his Mama!) a German Shepherd, a Doberman, 3 Havanese, 2 cats, several rodents and a Senegal parrot. I offer pet sitting in my home - or yours - and am available for drop-ins or daily walks. I can even work from your home on my work-from-home days if you would like someone to be with your pets all day in the comfort of their normal surroundings. *For the safety of my pets, any animals boarding in my home will require confirmation from your veterinarian that each pet is up to date on vaccines, including Bordetella.* I currently work full time for a homebuilder, working from home 3 days per week during the workweek – and my job is very flexible. I have a small fenced yard, 3 small dogs & 2 cats to keep your babies company- and two big dogs who love to play if your fur kids are social. We also have plenty of room to keep everyone separated if that is preferred. I am also a firm believer in the "double-door" policy that I learned from volunteering in zoos. We do not use our front door and have a screened in patio in the back. The door to the patio must be closed before the screen door is opened (and our utility room door must be closed before we open the door to the garage) - safeguarding against any unexpected escapees.

About: I have been caring for pets for over 22 years. I was raised on a large rural farm in VA. I grew up raising farm animals; including cows, horses, goats, pigs, dogs and cats. On the farm, I was responsible for the welfare of many animals; so my work experience, ethics, compassion and love of animals grew. A "true animal lover" as they call me, I have a passion for all animals. In 2000 I opened a petsitting company in Maryland. I ran that business successfully for 17 years and brings all that experience with me to Central Florida. My compassion for animals is strong. I currently operates a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (Felicia Foundation). This foundation travels to a different country each year, with certified veterinarian volunteers to help dogs in need. 30% of all profit from Pet-Sitting is donated back to pets in 3rd-world countries via the Felicia Foundation. These funds pay for yearly "animals mission trips". I have traveled for the past 8 years with veterinarians as a vet assistant. My foundation pays for dogs who desperately need immediate surgery, vaccinations, spay and neuter services, food and medications. I have brought all that passion, experience, dedication and love for animals to Central Florida. I have a pretty open schedule which allows me to be able to do any walks or drop ins throughout the week. I am flexible! When I do my drop ins, I always make sure that doors are closed behind me so no one can escape. I follow my pet owner’s instructions to keep their pets routine. I also love sending my owners photos when I visit.

Sadly where I'm living now I can't have any of my own and see this as a way to still interact with some friendly pets. Also my first job when I was younger was at an animal shelter, so I have some professional experience there as well. My work schedule right now is 5:30am-2pm most days, and am off Wednesday and Thursday. I personally like to go on walks often myself so I'd do my best to keep your fur babies entertained, always trying to be active and attend to the dogs needs. I work mornings so will generally be available for afternoon walks or most dinner times. I try to be active and go on walks most evenings as well. I believe establishing trust is key and always reccomend a meet and greet between owners, pets and myself to make sure we have good chemistry.

About: I have taken care of family and friends dogs for years. Here in Florida and in Bali. I will take care of them like if they were my own.. I have no animals in my house, so yours will be the center of attention. I am retired and currently not working. I’m home everyday spending time with my mother and I am free to take care of your dog, I have no other animals in my home. I have had dogs most of my life. Had three little dogs at the same time while raising my daughters. Quit my job during covid and lived in Bali. I love to travel and I’m around many dogs on my travels. So I will be taking them out on a leash to walk.
