“Aaliyah was great!! I booked last minute with her the night before for dog walking and to my surprise she responded! My dog has terrible separation anxiety but seemed to go with Aaliyah with ease and had a great time! She arrived on time and took my dog out for the full time of the booking. Will definitely be using her services again!”

About: I have 14 years of caring for my own fur-babies, 4 total, and well versed on knowing how to make sure they stay healthy and on set routines. In the time I have taken care of my pets, and pets of others, I make sure to treat them like family and that they are well-taken care of when under my care. My experiences include taking care of others pets while they are on vacation as well as taking dogs for both walks and runs. In taking care of others pets, I would need the owner to provide up-to-date vaccination records. I firmly believe that dogs are a part of any family and should be treated with love and compassion. Please message me if you have any questions. I am devoting my time to care for your fur babies as they are part of the family too. I work with Rover as my main position. You can trust I will make sure your pets are well taken care of and played with. I will provide exceptional care and meet the needs of the owner for their pets.
About: I've been caring for pets since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, groom, and bathe their pets. I’ve worked in a doggy daycare for 8 years and have extensive experience with grooming, pet sitting, and managing a variety of temperaments and breeds. I treat every animal as if they were my own and prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. Whether your pet needs extra playtime, calm companionship, or basic grooming, I'm here to help! I own my own dog grooming business, which means I spend my days surrounded by pups! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I have the flexibility to provide walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention throughout the day. Whether your dog needs midday care, companionship, or just some extra love, I’m here to help! For boarding in my home, I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and get fresh air. I also have a spare room set up just for pups, giving them a comfortable, quiet space to relax when they’re not enjoying playtime inside the house. I have experience handling multiple dogs at once and make sure every pup gets individual attention, enrichment, and care in a calm, structured environment. When walking dogs in a client’s neighborhood, I always use a double leash system one with the pet's own leash and another with mine to ensure extra safety and prevent any chances of slipping out. I'm also comfortable administering oral medications or topical treatments if needed. Your dog’s well being, comfort, and safety are always my top priorities.
“Ashley walked my dog ons few occasions while I was out of town. She was a great communicator and kept me informed of how the walks went and her sense of how my pup was doing. Really appreciated her expertise and sunny disposition. Thank you Ashley.”

“Can’t say enough about how comfortable she made me with it being my first time trusting someone to come walk my fur baby! She was so sweet to him and took her time and loved on him.”

About: Hi there, fellow Fur Families! My name is Jenna and I am an animal enthusiast and experienced animal care provider. I have experience caring for all types of domestic pets (plus experience with exotics and wildlife!) I have volunteered for zoos in both Florida and Alabama as well as a wildlife center, also serving as a docent for the Gulf Breeze Zoo many years ago. I missed my calling earlier in life to be a veterinarian, so I am getting ready to go back to school to first obtain a masters in zoology then work my way toward veterinary school. I do not remember a time in my life when I wasn't taking care of animals. I am from a family of small dog breeders, first with cocker spaniels when I was very young and then with schnauzers into my teen years. I assisted with births and puppy care starting when I was a young teen and spent my younger years spending all of my time with our cats and dogs. I started grooming our schnauzers when I was 12 and worked for a groomer for a short time when I was in college. Family and friends consistently come to me with any of their pet questions (particularly when related to dogs) and I am usually their first choice for caring for their pets when they are out of town. I am available for drop-ins or daily walks. I can even work from your home on my work-from-home days if you would like someone to be with your pets all day in the comfort of their normal surroundings. I currently work full time for a homebuilder, working from home 3 days per week during the workweek – and my job is very flexible so I am available for drop-ins most of the time. I enjoy spending time with your fur babies while you are away, playing and getting to know them! It matters to me that they are excited to see me come and sad to see me go. I want them to be as happy and comfortable in my care as possible!

I promise to take amazing care of your pets while the owner is away. I love taking care of my farm animals and making sure that they are happy, healthy and very well cared for. I make sure that each one is tended to daily mainly in the afternoon. In my client's home I will make sure that the animals are treated as if they are my own. I will leave your house tidy and clean.
“We had such a great experience with Rosario and Viktoriia. They took amazing care of our dogs while we were away and gave us total peace of mind the whole time. You can tell they really care about animals, and our dogs came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well exercised.”

I have lived in Jupiter and in the Palm Beach Gardens area for about 15 years now and have experience with my own dogs for about as long as I could remember, I have always been a lover of all animals and an advocate. For about 12 years now my close friends and family have entrusted me with the care of their fur babies. You can be sure I will take good care of yours.
“Tonya was gracious enough to walk our dog on a blocked day. This was the first time I used Rover and everything went so smooth. About: Hi, we're Ryan & Lauren! 🐾 If you're looking for someone who genuinely gets animals — you found us. My wife has spent 4 years working hands-on at a veterinary clinic, so she's not just an animal lover — she's trained, experienced, and knows how to read what your pet needs. From routine care to spotting when something's off, she brings a level of attention most sitters simply can't offer. Together, we're a team that truly loves animals — we have dogs and cats of our own, so we understand what pet parents care about most. When we come to your home, the goal is simple: your pet stays comfortable, happy, and in their own routine like you never left. No strange environments, no adjustment period — just familiar surroundings and two people who genuinely love being there. We welcome all animals, big or small, energetic or chill. 🐶🐱🦎 Your home, your pet, our full attention. We can't wait to meet them! We're available almost any time! While Lauren works full time at a veterinary clinic, Ryan works from home and has the flexibility to pop out whenever your pet needs us. Tell us what you need and we'll make it happen — our goal is to make this as seamless as possible for you and your furry family. Every visit starts with your pet's routine — because consistency is what keeps them happy and stress-free while you're away. We follow your instructions to the letter, whether that's feeding schedules, walk routes, or medications. Lauren's veterinary background means she's completely comfortable administering meds and recognizing when something just doesn't seem right. During drop-in visits we make sure food and water are topped off, get in some quality playtime, and give your pet the attention they deserve. On walks, we let them set the pace and soak it all in. And you'll never be left wondering — we send updates and photos so you can see exactly how your baby is doing. Your home is treated with the same respect as our own. We're not just checking boxes — we genuinely love being there.

About: I have been caring for pets for over 22 years. I was raised on a large rural farm in VA. I grew up raising farm animals; including cows, horses, goats, pigs, dogs and cats. On the farm, I was responsible for the welfare of many animals; so my work experience, ethics, compassion and love of animals grew. A "true animal lover" as they call me, I have a passion for all animals. In 2000 I opened a petsitting company in Maryland. I ran that business successfully for 17 years and brings all that experience with me to Central Florida. My compassion for animals is strong. I currently operates a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (Felicia Foundation). This foundation travels to a different country each year, with certified veterinarian volunteers to help dogs in need. 30% of all profit from Pet-Sitting is donated back to pets in 3rd-world countries via the Felicia Foundation. These funds pay for yearly "animals mission trips". I have traveled for the past 8 years with veterinarians as a vet assistant. My foundation pays for dogs who desperately need immediate surgery, vaccinations, spay and neuter services, food and medications. I have brought all that passion, experience, dedication and love for animals to Central Florida. I have a pretty open schedule which allows me to be able to do any walks or drop ins throughout the week. I am flexible! When I do my drop ins, I always make sure that doors are closed behind me so no one can escape. I follow my pet owner’s instructions to keep their pets routine. I also love sending my owners photos when I visit.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Mascotte
Amber, did an amazing job with Rocky. This was my first time using a dog walker and I was a little nervous. Amber got to the appointment on time and was very respectful and courteous, and professional. She sent me pictures of Rocky and communicated with me throughout the walk. I highly recommend her and will continue to use her.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
