“Beamer, my miniature schnauzer had a great time with Helene! When I picked him up he smothered me with kisses, but I've noticed since that he's been calmer and more dog-socialized so that he doesn't pay a lot of attention to passing dogs with their owners. Beamer is very social and still maintains his friendliness, so I know that he was treated with the kind of care he receives at home. I recommend Helene to care for your small dog. About: I have a big home with a large fenced in yard, I have a 2 year old 77 pd Greadoodle and a 16 year old chihuahua, I’ve owned Great Danes since I was 18, so love all doggies. I welcome well behaved, non-aggressive, housebroken dogs, please have all vaccines and flea prevention as well. I’m home all the time, so day, evening or overnight care is easy for me, I’m available holidays. I typically vacation 3 weeks a year, I give plenty of notice for planned vacations. I have a large fenced in yard, pets are allowed anywhere in our house. I will travel within 10 miles of our home to care for your pet.

I studied and graduated as a Veterinary Assistant Technician and since then I have worked in personalized pet care. I also volunteer at county shelters and some non-profit organizations where I care for and foster animals. I am from a family of small dog breeders, first with cocker spaniels when I was very young and then with schnauzers into my teen years. I started grooming our schnauzers when I was 12 and worked for a groomer for a short time when I was in college. Family and friends consistently come to me with any of their pet questions (particularly when related to dogs) and I am usually their first choice for caring for their pets when they are out of town. I am available for drop-ins or daily walks. I can even work from your home on my work-from-home days if you would like someone to be with your pets all day in the comfort of their normal surroundings. About: I have always loved animals and own my own small farm with a variety of animals. I have a few dogs of my own and two of them I raised with my family. I promise to take amazing care of your pets while the owner is away. I love taking care of my farm animals and making sure that they are happy, healthy and very well cared for. I make sure that each one is tended to daily mainly in the afternoon. In my client's home I will make sure that the animals are treated as if they are my own. I will leave your house tidy and clean.

On the farm, I was responsible for the welfare of many animals; so my work experience, ethics, compassion and love of animals grew. A "true animal lover" as they call me, I have a passion for all animals. In 2000 I opened a petsitting company in Maryland. I ran that business successfully for 17 years and brings all that experience with me to Central Florida. My compassion for animals is strong. I currently operates a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (Felicia Foundation). This foundation travels to a different country each year, with certified veterinarian volunteers to help dogs in need. 30% of all profit from Pet-Sitting is donated back to pets in 3rd-world countries via the Felicia Foundation. These funds pay for yearly "animals mission trips". I have traveled for the past 8 years with veterinarians as a vet assistant. My foundation pays for dogs who desperately need immediate surgery, vaccinations, spay and neuter services, food and medications. About: I have taken care of not only my dogs but I have also been relied on to take dogs out during the day, feed and walk them by friends and coworkers! I have been an animal lover from a young age and am open to take care of any animal! When your animal is in my care I will make sure that that animal is safe at all times, I am experienced with all types of leashes and harnesses and I will ensure that your pets safety is number one. I am currently working full time, but I am free after work and on the weekends, for me it is a priority to take care of an animal. I am free Monday - Friday 4pm - 7pm, Saturday and Sunday any time until 6pm. I am not currently offering in home and client home care. About: When I was a child, I created my own dog walking business and made fliers in Microsoft Paint and hung them all over my neighborhood, also going door to door offering my services, and I think that was possibly the most enjoyable work I've ever done. :) The services I offer include: House/dog sitting, dog walking, dog grooming, feeding, training, and medicine administration. If there are any other special requests, we can go over them! I love animals in general, and my dream job as a small child was to be a zoologist, I watched Animal Planet daily with my pop pop, and would even play pretend to be animals with my childhood best friend, I guess we were strange kids. I have so much love, compassion, empathy, patience, confidence, and respect to give and this is truly what makes me the happiest. I am also a seasoned customer service and user support pro, from big tech to retail, so I’m very people first (and animal first of course!). I work remote currently, so I have more than enough time to incorporate dog care into my daily life, and with my dog, I already do! I follow the requests and schedules set by owners, I keep a close eye on them and update owners frequently via message and photos. I am also vigilant about what any dog tries to eat when outside, I'm not afraid to pull out anything from a mouth!
