About: My entire childhood there was always a dog or two in the house. I grew up with 5 different English setters that I helped take care of as starting as young as 10 years old. Being the high energy dogs that they are, I became well acquainted with daily walks and lots of attention and care. Today I’m the proud father of a 3 year old golden doodle named Winston. Despite being a couch potato he also loves the beach, camping, and could play fetch until his legs gave out. I’ve been working for home for 5 years now as a project manager, which has allowed me to proved constant care and attention to Winston and my parent 3 English setters whenever they have been out of town. Living just outside of downtown Negaunee, my neighborhood is dog friendly and the perfect place for a walk. I also offer a medium sized fenced in backyard, which is perfect for fetch and play time. I work from home M-F, so I’m always home and available to provide care. I also have a 3 year old golden doodle that I’m caring for fully time each day. I have a medium sized fenced in back yard with a covered porch. It is the perfect size for short distance fetch and playtime. Plus the porch offers some shade from the sun if they enjoy sitting outside and people watching.

About: Hello, we are Alexa and Nat, remote workers with flexible availability! Multiple years of experience dog walking/running/biking/hiking and always looking for a fur-ball adventure buddy to blow off some cold-weather energy with. Have experience with various breeds of various sizes with a spectrum of energy levels. Mindful, respectable, dependable and patient with both dogs and people. Alexa (f/30) works full time remotely for a surf-skate-snow nonprofit. She has many years of experience caring for your beloved dogs and cats. Nat (m/31) is a tele-health therapist who has experience working at a kennel for therapy dogs and has owned dogs his whole life. We live a couple blocks away from Lake Superior in Marquette so can provide more than adequate walks during a typical workday. Open to traveling further and staying for longer periods of time if needed. We can provide referrals from folks we have supported with their animals over the years. We always make sure to check-in and update daily and are very respectful of individual's needs.

About: Furry Friend Care experience includes caring for cat(s) needing regular injections (subcutaneous), special dietary needs, and walking multiple dogs (familiar with each other). Light grooming, as well! As a free agent with Home bases in both Munising and Marquette, I have flexibility!Please specify what area/ community when you request services. We all have things we care about and want to ensure are safe and cared for when we're not around. I will give care and consideration to your fur friends, their routines and safety! My house sitting, boat sitting, fur friend care, & companionship extend from Marquette to Munising, and Chocolay to Big Bay! Care to be in your home, unless special conditions are made. My current familiar is a gorgeous grey Nebelung cat, adopted as a kitten 5 years ago. She requires a special ZD diet and biweekly subcutaneous shots. I have experience attaching kitty nail caps, when she was younger, with coordinated guidance while we were sussing out an unknown skin condition that was causing her to scratch aggressively, continually opening wounds, not giving them a chance to heal. Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.

“This was our second time doing daycare for Ninja with Jered. Jered has taken really good care of Ninja both times. He sends picture and video updates and even takes him on a walk! Ninja looks very relaxed and comfortable at Jered's home and comes back happy. Jered patiently talked to me about some questions I had for a future boarding reservation and was kind enough to take his time addressing all my concerns.
