“Shannon is top notch. When life happened for us and we were so nervous about leaving our high anxiety dog with someone new she took the task with calm and so much good energy and joy. Her patience, love for dogs, incredible canine environment made a difference. Shannon is incredible with daily updates and rest assured you can ease your mind when leaving your beloved pet with her.”

“Fred boarded our dog in his home, took him for walks and provided undivided attention. Fred is great with communication and sent multiple pics of our dog during the stay. We have already booked another stay with Fred in the near future. Highly recommend.”

About: Hey there! I have taken care of my families and neighbors pets for years, and with help of a friend I realized I could save for graduate school by doing so. I have had puppies and worked with multiple at the same time, and in general I feel fit for whatever you’ll need me to do. I’m excited to start this journey! I’m currently working part-time over summer, and I would love to use my extra time during the weekdays or weekends to help take care of pets. I am generally free after 1:00 or 4:00 pm. I take my labradoodle on walks daily and make sure her food and water tray is full most of the time. She has an online training I have used a lot of the resources from to teach her new things, like patience! We also make sure to clean the backyard every few days.
“When we got stranded on vacation because of the crazy blizzard of 2026, Dylan came in for the save and agreed to board Rudy for an unexpected 3 extra days! What a life saver! Rudy enjoyed his stay and we’ll definitely rebook with Dylan in the future! Thank you!”

“Had our grandma doggo for 3 days, arrived on time for pick up and did a great job keeping her busy for the weekend. Absolutely great pet hosts and will use them again in the future, they were able to be home for the weekend, took my old anxious girl on walks around Marquette’s best spots and responded to every message I had checking in on things. My dog has had trouble with being left alone in the past and they are able to accommodate her needs.”

“Mike and Dallas were Fantastic! They treated my sweet Lady like a Queen with daily walks to the beach and letting her play in the water and chase the chipmunks and squirrels. I received lots of pictures and updates throughout my time away. I highly recommend them!”

“This was our second time booking Emma, and it was once again a great experience! She was communicative and sent regular updates. It's very nice to not have to worry while on vacation, and we know we don't have to with her watching the cats! 10/10, would (and did) book again.”

“Isabelle did a fantastic job taking care of our cat! She communicated with us any concerns, asked questions if needed, and was willing to work with our change in travel plans.”

“Jen was wonderful with our two cats while we were out of town! Very professional and communicative, not to mention kind and affectionate with our kitties. It gave us peace of mind knowing she has a wealth of experience in emergency veterinary medicine in addition to pet sitting and training. Jen went above and beyond, spending extra time with the cats when possible and bringing in our mail and packages. I would book her again in a heartbeat!”

“Justin was awesome! He was able to help me out on relatively short notice and took very good care of my special needs cat. Since he has experience with giving injections, I knew my diabetic cat was in good hands with his insulin shots. Very professional, while also being a super chill guy. Thank you!!”
About: You can enjoy complete peace of mind knowing your dog is receiving dedicated, one-on-one care in my home. Since I don’t currently have any pets of my own, your dog will be my sole focus, ensuring they feel safe, welcome, and active. I have a large, fully fenced-in backyard that provides plenty of room for supervised play and exercise. Because I work remotely, your pet will have constant companionship and the freedom to enjoy the yard throughout the day. Having previously owned a Golden Retriever and two mixed-breed rescues, I am experienced in caring for different personalities and activity levels. Because I work from home and live alone, your dog becomes my primary companion and the heartbeat of my home. My daily routine is perfectly suited for a pet who thrives on consistency and attention. We start each morning with breakfast and a potty break in the large fenced-in backyard before I settle in for work. While I am at my desk, your dog is welcome to nap in my office or relax at my feet, enjoying a calm and quiet environment. I make it a point to step away from my screen for several breaks throughout the day, which provides the perfect opportunity for us to head outside for fresh air and supervised playtime in the yard. Once I log off for the evening, we head out for a long walk to wind down and get some exercise. My weekends are dedicated to trail walking, and I love having a furry friend join me for these longer outdoor adventures. Since I don't have other pets or children, your dog will truly be the centerpiece of my day and will fit right into my active lifestyle. Since I work from home and live alone, I provide a quiet, low-stress environment where your dog is the sole focus of my attention. I strictly follow your existing feeding and medication schedule to keep their routine as normal as possible. Because I am active, they will enjoy a long evening walk every day and the option for trail adventures on the weekends.

Thank You Janelle for providing such wonderful care to my precious cat. I will use her again when the need arises. 🙏😘”

About: I’ve taken care of my own cat for over 15+ years, I also have experience taken care of family and friends cats for extended periods. I am completely comfortable with litter box cleaning and any other fluids.
“Alexa is wonderful! Honestly, she's one of the best pet sitter we've ever had. She came to our house to watch our 2 cats/ dear kitty friends, and she truly seemed to understand their needs and ours! She always did MORE than required, including regular communication, photos, and details that she'd only know if she was really spending time with them. We came home to a tidy house and 2 happy, well-fed cats. And when we got home from a long, stressful drive, we found the sweetest note about our kitties and a gift of homemade pumpkin bread! And, Alexa is smart, personable and energetic. We left feeling good about the woman we were entrusting with these small animals who trust us. I never worried about a thing, which for me, is an amazing gift. I missed our cats, but I never worried about them. For me, THAT is the very best recommendation I can give a caregiver. We will certainly hope she is available for every future trip we make.”

About: I have always loved all kinds of animals. I cannot remember a time where my family had less than 3 pets. I also have experience working in a pet boarding facility back home for multiple years. I am a student and now retired athlete with a flexible schedule. I am more than open to communicating a plan of care for your pets! I can insure the safety of your pets by treating them as they are my own. I would be outside with them if the yard is fenced or walking with them on a leash. I would also make sure to check for risks before leaving them unsupervised.

About: I have experience working with cats at an animal shelter, including shy, reactive, and stressed cats. I’m comfortable reading their body language and adjusting my approach to help them feel safe and not overwhelmed. I’ve handled daily care such as feeding, litter box cleaning, monitoring behavior, and helping with some medical care when needed, including medication administration and taking blood sugar. From the shelter, I also have experience socializing cats at their own pace, especially those who need extra patience and quiet support to build trust. I understand that every cat has a different personality, and I always focus on respecting their boundaries while making sure they feel secure, cared for, and comfortable in their environment!

About: I have tailored attention and true love for cats! I love being around these kind natured animals. I am patient, as I understand some friends can be rather timid! While others are super outgoing:) I have owned cats myself for years, as well as looked after others cats!

“Anastasia was great! She agreed to watch the cats on short notice, and came over to meet them before the booking started. We felt like the cats were in great hands with Anastasia watching them, and she provided updates and photos every day! 10/10, we'd definitely (and probably will) book Anastasia again!”

“Dylan was an outstanding pet sitter for my dog Tilly. She was attentive to detail, and prioritizes the health, comfort, and happiness of your pet. She is excellent regarding communication as well with quick messaging and giving daily check ins. This was my first time using Rover, and I booked Dylan for drop in visits. I would absolutely book her again! - Tilly stamp of approval”

“Sarah is devoted to doing what she can for the pets. I appreciated her efforts and cleanliness. My cat, Rosie, seems to have got along good with her and that's a plus.My cat is 15 & had had a bad life prior to moving in with me. I have never left her or my house overnight. Sarah helped all of my pet family to remember that they are loved and cared for, very much. My doors were locked, TV and lights on, as I had asked for them to be for when I got home in the evening. If I would ever go away again, I would ask for Sarah. I am thankful for Rover!!!”
“Alysce did an excellent job checking in on my cat Elvira while I was out of town for the weekend! Communication was great and she played with Elvira and sent lots of cute photos :)”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for animals feels completely natural to me. From playful puppies and curious kittens to older pets who need extra patience and comfort, I’ve seen it all. Because I’ve lived with animals for as long as I can remember, I’m great at understanding their body language, routines, and what helps them feel safe. I know how to handle different personalities—shy, energetic, cuddly, or independent—and I always adjust to what each pet needs. I treat every pet like family, because that’s how I was raised to care for mine. Your pets will get the same love, attention, and respect I give my own.

About: Furry Friend Care experience includes caring for cat(s) needing regular injections (subcutaneous), special dietary needs, and walking multiple dogs (familiar with each other). Light grooming, as well! As a free agent with Home bases in both Munising and Marquette, I have flexibility! Please specify what area/ community when you request services. We all have things we care about and want to ensure are safe and cared for when we're not around. I will give care and consideration to your fur friends, their routines and safety! My house sitting, boat sitting, fur friend care, & companionship extend from Marquette to Munising, and Chocolay to Big Bay! Care to be in your home, unless special conditions are made. My current familiar is a gorgeous grey Nebelung cat, adopted as a kitten 5 years ago. She requires a special ZD diet and biweekly subcutaneous shots. I have experience attaching kitty nail caps, when she was younger, with coordinated guidance while we were sussing out an unknown skin condition that was causing her to scratch aggressively, continually opening wounds, not giving them a chance to heal. Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.
“Mike and Dallas were wonderful with our dog Raina. We got to meet both of them when we first came. We left them a note including commands Raina knows and things to be aware of about her. We hope to use them periodically for dog care care and then also for a trip sometime this winter when we can't easily take Raina. She had a long walk and ate her dinner there and came home happy. They were great at communication and sent us a picture of her on the snowy walk. We are delighted to find them. We have used Rover before but not for awhile. Thanks very much.”

About: My entire childhood there was always a dog or two in the house. I grew up with 5 different English setters that I helped take care of as starting as young as 10 years old. Being the high energy dogs that they are, I became well acquainted with daily walks and lots of attention and care. Today I’m the proud father of a 3 year old golden doodle named Winston. Despite being a couch potato he also loves the beach, camping, and could play fetch until his legs gave out. I’ve been working for home for 5 years now as a project manager, which has allowed me to proved constant care and attention to Winston and my parent 3 English setters whenever they have been out of town. Living just outside of downtown Negaunee, my neighborhood is dog friendly and the perfect place for a walk. I also offer a medium sized fenced in backyard, which is perfect for fetch and play time. I work from home M-F, so I’m always home and available to provide care. I also have a 3 year old golden doodle that I’m caring for fully time each day. I have a medium sized fenced in back yard with a covered porch. It is the perfect size for short distance fetch and playtime. Plus the porch offers some shade from the sun if they enjoy sitting outside and people watching.
“This was our second time doing daycare for Ninja with Jered. Jered has taken really good care of Ninja both times. He sends picture and video updates and even takes him on a walk! Ninja looks very relaxed and comfortable at Jered's home and comes back happy. Jered patiently talked to me about some questions I had for a future boarding reservation and was kind enough to take his time addressing all my concerns. Overall very happy with his level of care and attention. Thank you Jered!”

I would highly recommend Shannon to anyone looking for someone dependable, caring, and compassionate to care for their pets!!”

“Jen walked my dog, Hank, morning and evening for a month while I recovered from surgery. She was always on time, cheerful and amazingly good with Hank. She did some excellent training with him (and me) - Hank did well, I’ll be hiring her to train me soon. She has my highest recommendation!”

About: I worked at an animal shelter where I helped care for dogs, cats, and small animals. I gained experience with lots of different categories like feeding, cleaning, playtime, and making sure animals felt comfortable and cared for. I also have experience with reactive dogs/cats and making sure to create an environment where they thrive and do not feel the need to be reactive. I also worked with many different types of cats, especially the shy ones who just needed more support. I have also given vaccines and medicine to animals, as well as taken a senior diabetic cats blood sugar. I understand every pet is different, and I’m happy to follow any routines and give them all the patience and attention they need and deserve! I also have experience with family animals! Growing up, we had all sizes of dogs, from a German Shepherd to an Italian Greyhound! So I have experience with all different animal personalities like door dashers, small velcro pups, and the older ones too:) I currently have a small dog, a bearded dragon, and a hamster! I truly love animals and want pet parents to feel comfortable knowing their pets are safe, happy, and getting lots and lots of love while they’re away! I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available most days of the week, including weekdays and weekends. I’m able to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening pet care as needed! I live in a rented apartment, so sadly I’m not able to board pets in my home. I do offer care in clients’ homes, which I believe is often best for pets since they can stay in their own familiar space:) I always make sure to follow instructions closely, keep the environment clean, and prioritize each pet’s safety and comfort.

From start to finish, constant communication with my clients is always my top priorirty! I use patience, positive reinforcement, and plenty of attention to help pets feel comfortable and build trust. While providing services at my clients' homes, I quickly learn the areas where the pets will be the most comfortable and avoid possible triggers. I am happy to adjust and, if requested by the client, to meet pets beforehand to build trust and make everyone comfortable during this experience!
“Dylan walked our dog Melon while we were out of town and she was staying with my parents. Melon is very strong and not the easiest dog to walk and Dylan had no issues with her. She was punctual and easy to communicate with. Thank you Dylan!”

About: I have many years of experience taking care of all types of pets. My own, my friends, my family, or people's pets i never knew. I have had 16 different pets in my life! For the summer I'm planning to just focus on myself and do this as much as I can to make some extra cash and spend time with animals! I will take dogs for as many walks as your pets need a day, and will make sure I spend quality time with them and treat them as if they are my own. I have dog sat for someone who took their dogs on 4 walks and day and was very strict with how they care for their dogs and people who are more laid back and don't really have a say that much as long as they are getting proper care, so whatever you want me to do in order to keep them on their routine or things like that I can do.
About: As long as I can remember I have loved animals of all kinds. I have been pet sitting/walking for around five plus years and also house sitting and babysitting. I worked at a dog kennel/ daycare for the summer and gained lots of experience walking, grooming, and taking care of dogs of all kinds. I also have experience with horses and have been riding most of my life. As a college student that is obviously my first priority but I have a pretty free schedule so pet sitting should fit very smoothly into both my daily and weekly routine. I only offer my services in the clients home as I live in the dorms. I am also available for dog walking and mid day check ins

I lived on a hobby farm for many years so I'm experienced in animal health. I love dogs and have experience with large breeds. My current dog is a 18-month old collie that weigh 65 pounds. I love the little dogs, too. My daughter has two pit bull rescues and they are so smart and sweet. There is a special place in my heart for pitty mixtures. I am retired so I have plenty of time for taking care of your animals. I am available 7 days a week with advanced notice. I have expertise in dog walking and teaching dogs loose leash walking. I am available for home visits for dogs and cats. I also own rescue budgies, chickens, and raise angel fish so I have knowledge of all animals.. I have experience with animal health.
“Alysce was highly responsive to scheduling and flexible with walk times. She acclimated the dogs well and braved the extreme cold 2x - we highly recommend Alysce, but selfishly prefer to keep her a secret.”

About: My favorite thing to do when caring for animals is going on adventures! I love being outdoors whether it's a hike, walk in a neighborhood, or just playing in the yard. Not only is it good exercise for the pups, it brings me joy as well! Before getting my own dog at the age of 7, I enjoyed reading books about all dog breeds and gaining knowledge! All of my neighbors, family, and friends had dogs and I loved being able to walk them, play with them, and snuggle with them (of course)! I've been a dog walker and long term pet sitter for family and friends. Along with that, I have administrated oral medications for a few animals. Once putting my dog down when I was 19 years old I became the go to dog sitter for friends and family, and I would love to continue that now that I am away from my hometown! I'm currently a full time student at NMU who has a love for animals and am looking for a small source of income on my down time. I am in class 3 days a week and also have a fur baby of my own to attend too. With that being said, outside of my class times I can be very flexible in walking or dropping in to treat your animal as if it’s my own! I will take your dog to nearby parks, and trails as my adventure buddy and make sure your dog is getting all the love and exercise they need, or I can stop by your home and give your dog the same attention that I would give my own :)

I would love to spend time with your pet and would provide outstanding care! Our home in Skandia, MI is just 20 minutes from Marquette, so if you are traveling to the area and need dog care for just the day or longer, please reach out. I work from home which allows me to spend extra time with my own dogs! Your dog will never have to be at home alone. I work from home which allows me to spend extra time with my own dogs! “Heidi was a great dog sitter! She was very communicative with us and gave Henry lots of attention and love. Her dog is a big sweetheart, and the house is a great, dog friendly space!”

“Alisha was wonderful with our dog Khloe. She had a great time with their dogs and even went for a hike on one of the days & had a fun time outside. I would recommend Alisha to watch your dog. Thanks for a great experience.”

“Abigail was the perfect fit for watching Scotch for a weekend! She was quick to respond, kept us updated with texts and pictures and took such great care of Scotch! She allowed a meet and greet prior to the weekend to put Scotch and I at ease. He was smiling our whole way home. We will absolutely use Abigail again and recommend her to anyone who wants to be sure to have a trusting and loving dog sitter!”
