Doggy Day Care in Ishpeming

About: My entire childhood there was always a dog or two in the house. I grew up with 5 different English setters that I helped take care of as starting as young as 10 years old. Being the high energy dogs that they are, I became well acquainted with daily walks and lots of attention and care. Today I’m the proud father of a 3 year old golden doodle named Winston. Despite being a couch potato he also loves the beach, camping, and could play fetch until his legs gave out. I’ve been working for home for 5 years now as a project manager, which has allowed me to proved constant care and attention to Winston and my parent 3 English setters whenever they have been out of town. Living just outside of downtown Negaunee, my neighborhood is dog friendly and the perfect place for a walk. I also offer a medium sized fenced in backyard, which is perfect for fetch and play time. I work from home M-F, so I’m always home and available to provide care. I also have a 3 year old golden doodle that I’m caring for fully time each day. I have a medium sized fenced in back yard with a covered porch. It is the perfect size for short distance fetch and playtime. Plus the porch offers some shade from the sun if they enjoy sitting outside and people watching.

“This was our second time doing daycare for Ninja with Jered. Jered has taken really good care of Ninja both times. He sends picture and video updates and even takes him on a walk! Ninja looks very relaxed and comfortable at Jered's home and comes back happy. Jered patiently talked to me about some questions I had for a future boarding reservation and was kind enough to take his time addressing all my concerns. About: Furry Friend Care experience includes caring for cat(s) needing regular injections (subcutaneous), special dietary needs, and walking multiple dogs (familiar with each other). Light grooming, as well! As a free agent with Home bases in both Munising and Marquette, I have flexibility!Please specify what area/ community when you request services. We all have things we care about and want to ensure are safe and cared for when we're not around. I will give care and consideration to your fur friends, their routines and safety! My house sitting, boat sitting, fur friend care, & companionship extend from Marquette to Munising, and Chocolay to Big Bay! Care to be in your home, unless special conditions are made. My current familiar is a gorgeous grey Nebelung cat, adopted as a kitten 5 years ago. She requires a special ZD diet and biweekly subcutaneous shots. I have experience attaching kitty nail caps, when she was younger, with coordinated guidance while we were sussing out an unknown skin condition that was causing her to scratch aggressively, continually opening wounds, not giving them a chance to heal. Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.

About: I have had dogs my entire life, and love spending time with them. I would have a house full if I could! I have experience taking care of dogs from 8 weeks old to senior, and I have administered medication of many kinds. I am currently a stay at home mom of 4 (teens,tweens and a kindergarten age kiddo), so I am home most of the day. Some of my kids do participate in school sports and there are times where I am gone for a few hours here or there. Besides that, I’m always home. I currently live on a lake, tucked back about 5 miles from the highway. It’s a new construction, so while I do plan to eventually get a fence put up, right now I do not have a fenced yard. I do however have a tie out for potty breaks, and will go on daily walks. If requested, I will personally go outside with your pup during potty breaks. I also have two golden retrievers in our home that love to have fun, swim, and play. They are guaranteed to keep your pup busy. You need to be aware that I can only watch pups who tolerate kids. While my kids are very respectful of animals, I do still need confirmation they are okay with kids present in the home. They also will be crated in the event that I need to leave home for a short time.
