About: I fully believe in the power of pets as best friends and emotional support companions, and I want to help take care of your furry loved ones! In my role, I am all about communication first. I have around +2 years of pet-sitting/care experience with diverse dog breeds (chihuahua, pitbulls, schnauzer, mixed) and cats from family members and friends, as well as my own. I have experience doing drop-in visits (feeding, playing, grooming/cleaning, petting) and dog walking (around neighborhood or on pet-friendly nature trails). To further build my experience, I make sure that I have the client's detailed pet routine clearly documented before I accept a drop-in or pet walking visit. I will provide a full-time experience with your pets and make them feel cared for and loved. I will 100% use a baby voice for every sweet pup and kitten I play with! While I can be flexible most of the times, I will let my clients know if there is a weekend or weekdays that I am unavailable. From start to finish, constant communication with my clients is always my top priorirty! I use patience, positive reinforcement, and plenty of attention to help pets feel comfortable and build trust. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I carefully follow feeding, exercise, and medication instructions while keeping owners updated with messages and photos. About: Hi, I am Bri! I grew up on a small dairy farm in Wisconsin and was raised with border collies. I have always loved animals. I currently have two dogs of my own, a 13 year old rescue Mini Australian Shepherd and a 7 year old Border Collie mix. I work from home which allows me to spend lots of time with my fur babies! I would love to spend time with your pet and would provide outstanding care! Our home in Skandia, MI is just 20 minutes from Marquette, so if you are traveling to the area and need dog care for just the day or longer, please reach out. For overnight care in my home any night works. I am super accommodating to any of your dogs needs including puppies to older dogs. “Courtney was a wonderful sitter. I have very social cats but I could tell when she first met them that they’d be in good hands. She even fed my mice that I hadn’t previously mentioned (I recommend always telling your sitter in advanced if you have “extra” pets so they’re aware, though, that’s on me). But she was so friendly and easy to communicate with. I’d also hired her to water my plants but because of the rain we got she didn’t have to. The fact that she was willing to do so and asked questions to make sure she did things right was more than enough for me. My home was also exactly as I left it, so I really appreciated Courtney’s efforts. The cats were asking about her when she left so she must’ve done something right. 10/10!”

I have experience caring for pets every size, age, breed, energy levels, and general care needs! I work as a tutor at a middle school, so I have full availability during the summers. About: I have experience with animals of all sizes! Most important to me is that I provide a safe and attentive environment. For high energy dogs we have a large backyard and trails around our house! I am able to walk and/or run them if requested. For lazy dogs, we have lots of surfaces to lay on and love to cuddle! (Only if they want, of course) Other than running some errands or taking my son on a play date I am able to be home taking care of the dogs :) I will follow your requests for all types of visits. My main concern is that your pet(s) are happy and well cared for regardless of if they are in my house or yours.

I have experience attaching kitty nail caps, when she was younger, with coordinated guidance while we were sussing out an unknown skin condition that was causing her to scratch aggressively, continually opening wounds, not giving them a chance to heal. Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.
