I prefer to come to your home and take care of your pet in the environment it knows best and feels the most comfortable in.
About: Hi! I’m Kaelyn, a dependable and caring animal lover who understands that pets are family. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or a slower pace, I’ll make sure they receive the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I’m committed to being punctual, communicative, and treating every pet as if they were my own. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member, so I’ll always provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your pet and making every walk a safe, fun, and positive experience! As a full time college student with two jobs, a professional photography business, and a commitment to book publishing, my time is sparse but well managed. My schedule leaves me available for same day booking and or plans weeks out. Regardless of the duration I will ensure my time with your pet is priority. I will always arrive on time ready to provide a wonderful experience. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I believe every pet deserves patient, attentive care tailored to their individual needs. During walks and drop-in visits, I’ll follow your instructions carefully, provide fresh water, monitor your pet for any signs of stress or illness, and ensure they receive plenty of exercise, affection, and attention. I communicate regularly with pet parents by sending updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I also respect your home by keeping it clean, securing doors and gates, and treating your property with the same care I would my own. At this time, I do not offer boarding or daycare in my home. My services focus on dog walking and drop-in visits, allowing your pet to stay comfortable in their familiar environment while receiving dependable, compassionate care.

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, including a senior Chihuahua and a German Shepherd. More recently, my sister brought home a very energetic 2-year-old terrier mix, so I’m used to handling all kinds of personalities and energy levels! I’ve also cared for a long-haired rabbit, which gave me experience with smaller pets as well. I’m always down for a meet-and-greet so you and your pet can get to know me first. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and maybe even a little spoiled while you’re away! 🐾 I’m currently home for summer break, which means I have plenty of time and energy to spend playing with and caring for your furry friends! I’m available Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 10 PM, making it easy to fit your pet’s routine! I prefer caring for pets in their own home, where they feel most comfortable, relaxed, and safe. I’m also happy to provide daily walks whenever needed to keep them active and happy!
“Alexus was very sweet and attentive to my cat. Usually my cat Marble is very shy and isolates herself from other animals and people but she opened up immediately to Alexus. I was worried about her during my entire trip but I knew I left her in good hands”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats since I was 9, helping family, friends, and neighbors with feeding, walking, bathing, and giving them attention. Being around animals for so long has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to make pets feel comfortable. I’ve learned how to care for different personalities, from playful and energetic to shy and calm, always making sure they feel safe and loved. I’m a student nurse, so caring for others is already a big part of who I am. My classes are Monday through Friday in the evenings (5–10 PM), which leaves me available during the day for check-ins, walks, and quality time with your pets. I’m fully available on Saturdays and make sure every pet gets the attention, care, and consistency they need while you’re away. I live in a clean, pet-friendly apartment with a private patio, a dog park, and dog washing stations, which makes it a great environment for pets to feel comfortable and active. I have 3 cats and 1 dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. If needed, my pets can be safely separated to make sure your pet has their own space and feels secure. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where your pet feels at home.
About: My love for animals runs deep—I currently volunteer at a local animal shelter, where I care for cats and dogs of all sizes, personalities, and needs. From socializing shy pets to walking energetic pups and helping with feeding and cleaning, I’ve gained hands-on experience that’s taught me how to read animal behavior and respond with patience, love, and care. Whether I’m hanging out with a cuddly senior cat or keeping a playful dog entertained, I truly enjoy making pets feel safe and happy. I treat every animal like family and make it my priority to follow their routine and comfort level while you’re away. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I’m able to fit pet care into my daily routine easily. I work remotely and can adjust my hours as needed, which makes it simple to handle walks, feedings, or any last-minute needs that come up. I’m very careful when it comes to pet care. I always make sure the environment is safe, secure, and comfortable—whether it’s in my home or the client’s. I follow any specific instructions closely and treat every pet like they’re my own, with lots of love, patience, and attention.

About: Hello my name is Shondra and I absolutely love dogs. I am retired so your pup will not be left alone. I have always had dogs my whole life. I have trained bird dogs (German short haired pointer) to hunt which I no longer do but I would love to take care of your pup as if it were my own. I walk my pup everyday so if your pup likes walks he or she can go with us. My house is clean so your pup will not be eating anything that will hurt him or her. I will send you pictures everyday of our activities. I have saved my dog Kiddy (who has now passed away at 19yrs old) from near death when she was 16yrs old. She had an infected tooth which got into her blood and caused her to almost die. the doctor gave her antibiotics but she wasn't eating or drinking for days. I put in a blender chicken and pedialyte, I then poured it into a feeding syringe and carefully put it in her mouth, I did this for 2 days and she came back to life. She got her tooth pulled as soon as she was better. I wanted to tell my story so you know that I will do whatever it takes to care for your pup. Our fur babies are family❤️❤️🙏 I am retired and home to take care of your pup. I do have one little dog and 2 cats. My pup is on an eating schedule and walking schedule so if your pup is on any schedule I will accommodate. My dogs and cats are my family members, your dogs and cats will be my extended family members. Making your fur babies comfortable will be my main priority. I have a fenced yard and I live close to a park for your fur babies daily exercise. I have an unfenced pool but I’m very careful about the dogs getting too close. I know how to give medication if your pup has a prescription. I will feed your fur baby at anytime you desire. I do prefer small to medium size dogs, if your fur baby likes to be on the couch I'm ok with that. I can provide a crate if your pup likes sleeping in one or if you prefer to bring your own that's ok as well. All animals have to be potty trained. I watch a friend's fur baby who uses a dog litter box so if you need to bring one I'm ok with that. I will love your pup as I love my own so he or she will aways feel comfortable in my house. I boil chicken for dog treats so if your pup likes treats he or she will love this.
About: I’ve never been without a pet in my life until recently and would love to dedicate my free time to caring for others animals like I did mine. I love all fur babies and would love to meet more. I currently work a part time job and I have extra time to dedicate to being around things I love. Animals bring me joy :) I have a gated in front yard and securely fenced in back yard with grass and shade. I also live near large parks for walking.
About: I have taken care of animals for 10+ years now. From ages of babies to seniors. I care for every animal as if they are my own. I absolutely love all animals and the quirkier the better. I work full time as a preschool teacher but, that won’t stop me from taking the time to tend to your animals. I am available to board during the weekends and I am available after 4:00pm on weekdays but depending on the time of year that can become more flexible (like holidays or summer). I am able to care for your animals that will match their individual care. My top priority is making sure your animals are feeling loved and safe. I myself have rescued all sorts of animals from cats, to dogs, to snakes. I truly am an animal lover of all shapes and sizes.
About: I've grown up taking care of cats and dogs, I also have experience with rodents such as rabbits, mice, rats, and hamsters. I also am fine taking care of reptiles if needed. I'm available almost everyday, so I have plenty of time to stay at your house and watch your animals. I can even stay the night if needed. I feed them breakfast and dinner everyday, clean litter boxes once or twice a day depending on how many cats, and I could walk the dogs two or three times a day.

Kass is kind, responsible and caring. She was very responsive and reliable when watching our sweet cat, Cleo. Her caring for Cleo in such a loving manner allowed us to go away for a few days knowing our cat was in great hands. We highly recommend her for all your pet care needs. We feel lucky to have found her and plan on using her for all our future travel.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
