When I walk any dog first things first make sure their harness/leash/collar are all in good shape and ready for the outing. While walking I constantly stay alert to make sure me and the furry ones are safe from any potential surprise dangers. As for home visits I always make sure there is nothing they have gotten into and/or could get into. Making sure they have water at all times and paying attention to little details to be proactive if something is wrong with a pet potentially as in a slight limp or itching ears etc.

Information Kass A. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know any details to be noted for the pet I'm taking care of. If they have any triggers or reactivity, I would like to approach those in ways that leaves the pet most comfortable. I would like to know the routine and what instructions or training you want me to follow that way I can still with what the pet is use to and no interfere specifically in your training plan.
A typical day
I always like to do a meet and greet beforehand that way the pet meet me with people they are already comfortable with and leads to a smooth first official visit. During a home visit I give the pet(s) lots of attention with pets and playtime. While as in dog walkings I like to typically say hi give them some attention and pets briefly before getting them geared up to go on walk. While on walks, I typically let them sniff and do what they prefer unless instructed otherwise (whatever the possible training and structure you want the dog(s) to have while on walk's.

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Kass, I became passionate about this job after getting my own puppy over three years ago and learning so much about dogs. I’ve grown up with cats my whole life and love the differences between the two but Ive been an animal lover to all since I was a child. When I got my first dog it was truly a life changing moment entering the “dog world”. I also have a deep love for exotics pets with having two crested geckos and being a fish keeper. I am totally comfortable taking care of other types of animals you may have in your home. What led me into making this my job was taking care of family and friends pets then realizing how enjoyable it was. I’ve worked with seniors, puppies/kittens, + disabled pets and more. I realized more people needed dog walkers, pet caretakers, etc. I thought this would be amazing opportunity to do the thing I love most! I enjoy working with all animals no matter how “difficult” it can be, every pet is different just like us and they all need their own customize approach and handling which i’m glad to provide. I am so thankful to every pet parent that has supported and trusted me with their babies and I will continue to give my best care possible for every single pet!

Reviews

So professional and easy to communicate with

Kass is kind, responsible and caring. She was very responsive and reliable when watching our sweet cat, Cleo. Her caring for Cleo in such a loving manner allowed us to go away for a few days knowing our cat was in great hands. We highly recommend her for all your pet care needs. We feel lucky to have found her and plan on using her for all our future travel.

Great Walker! Even when Cali is sluggish

Kass has been great each time that I've booked her. She is reliable and kept me updated about any concerns she had while pet sitting. She had to do some oral injections for my cat, which we went over prior to the scheduled visit, and she did very well. I really appreciated her willingness to go the extra mile. I also appreciated her attention to detail when feeding my cat (she noticed mold was growing when the wet food was mixed with the dry, so she kept them separate). It's a nice feeling knowing that my pet is being taken care of while I'm away.
