“This was my first time using Rover. I’ve always had family, friends or neighbors able to watch my two cats. Two of the of the ones who were available the most moved and I just needed to find someone I could rely on and where I didn’t need to stress about the care. I scoured Rover and the reviews and ended up meeting with Patricia for a meet and greet before I decided to follow through with this. ( it wasn’t easy at all!) Patricia was punctual, professional at ease with both cats and comfortable with some of the needs of my boy cat. I decided to give it a go as it was only one overnight 24 hr trip. She texted with adorable pictures and updates throughout which I really appreciated. She followed every one of my instructions and truly left my home as I left it (actually better, she emptied the garbage and stripped the linens off the bed) I’m really glad I took the plunge and went with Patricia. I would absolutely recommend and have her again.”

His drop in visits over the course of several months to check in on our late senior doggo were extremely helpful and professional. He was great working with our man in his golden years and had patience with managing doggy diapers, etc. We have also had him care for our pets during longer trips out of town and have never been disappointed. Our pets have always been very comfortable with him and it is always reassuring to get photos of our fur family as updates during his visits.”

“Having the pleasure of being able to hang out with Lailah, she’s proven to me through her kind, diverse, accepting, and supportive, demeanors that being such a person while having their own struggles doesn’t have to feel like homework. I personally have grown by meeting Lailah, through her actions and words of advice I’ve grown as a person myself. With her recent successes that I’ve had the pleasures of being there for, like her award for awareness for her powerfully written article in societal issues translated into the student body and advocacy of wrong, growing, social norms for those who were oppressed by them; I feel that she is a no brainer. Speaking OF brains, with her explanations and brightness in knowledge of caretaking of her own beautiful cat (Cleo short for Cleopatra) and her seemingly endless amount and variety of plants, she’s taught me specifics and and general understandings, skills, techniques, etc on how to care for my own companions. My cat and I are more closer than ever. She undoubtedly an exponential mental experience and understanding in caring for animals through her own companions she used to have, animal and plant wise, and the one’s she has now, Cleo and plants. I’m remembering that she pet a bee once, in-front of me.. while I was freaking out about it.. while she was telling me how it’s okay to do so when you’re just not being a bad person to it. Excuse my probably Non-brief-ness about this! ButI really believe that Lailah is undoubtedly a responsible and loving pet caregiver and people person.”

LILO loves Madeline and she was very patient with her. Lilo needs tons of attention and is a very active dog and Madeline did her best to make sure lilo was taken care of! Highly recommend her for your fur baby needs!”

I completely understand your concerns, and I’m happy to answer any questions you have—no such thing as too many! And yes, it’s totally okay to ask for photo updates every hour—I get it! About: My family has always had pets. In my adulthood, I have owned and trained a yellow lab and chocolate lab and currently have a black lab named Kingston. He is my best friend and his amazing. We also have a tabby cat named Biggie Smalls. He is very sweet. I am looking forward to the opportunity to spending time with your amazing pet friends and caring for them as if they’re my own. I am a 20 year teacher with the summers off and I’m available six days a week. I spend my summer months catching up on yardwork and vacationing with my family and can be available to assist in times of need for your pets. I can be available to care for your pets both at your home and take them for walks when needed. I am flexible with requests.
