“Adriana was amazing and Bella was well cared for and happy. Adriana went above and beyond with our home and pup and it was a pleasure to arrive home to a house that was in much better shape than when we left. And we had a constant stream of happy pictures of Bella on top of everything else! Our pup has some health issues which Adriana handled like a pro and I was able to be away for a couple days and feel that Bella was well cared for in our absence. I would not hesitate to have Adriana back again to take care of Bella.”

About: I’m a certified animal lover with a fur baby of my own (Henry, 9lb of quiet sweetness) that I’ve been caring for over 10 years. I own a wedding photography business that allows me to work from home 90% of my year. If I am booked on a specific day during your booking, I will let you know ahead of time so you can approve or deny the amount of hours I will be gone for that day (which can be anywhere from a 1-hour session to a full 10-hour wedding). I have experience as a dog owner, but have also spent many of my years dog and cat sitting for my friends and family. I raised and trained my parents puppy, a Bichon Frise Shih Tzu mix who needed lots of care to control his barking and playful nature, now 6 years old and so loving. I’m experience with a range of ages and needs, including puppies and elder animals with special care needs. I love dogs, as you can tell, and have all the time in the world to watch and play with them! I prefer dogs and cats have been handled and are used to being cared for, with no history of lashing out or biting. Whether you need me to cuddle, feed, brush, walk, or play with your pup, I'm your gal. Note: while I take a combo of meds for my dander allergy and have a high tolerance, I ask that any animals/homes with animals with high shedding be appropriately groomed and cleaned before sitting. If I stay in your home, a vacuuming or light cleaning does wonders. If your fur baby is boarded in my home, a bath or deshedding session beforehand is much appreciated. I work from home, so pet care can be a day round activity for me. If I am sitting in your home or doing check ins, I can stay or come by as frequently as needed, given availability based on any events or sessions I have previously booked. I will always communicate with pet parents about the needs for their specific fur baby. I understand all needs are unique, so aside from common sense (walks, feedings, playing), I’ll make sure to tailor their care as needed.

“Pam was amazing with our dogs when we went away. She stayed with them at our home and took care of them like we do. We came home to very happy pups! We will definitely use Pam again for watching Fred and Ginger.”

“Mary has watched our dog multiple times and has been great. The most recent time our dog was just neutered so it was a little stressful leaving him but Mary made sure that he was well cared for. Thanks Mary!”

About: I have loved dogs all my life. I was ten years old when my family got our first dog (a high energy, very intelligent border collie). Since then, I have had experience with various sizes, breeds and personalities, and delight in becoming their friend and guardian. I also ride horses, which has taught me a whole new level of care, trust and companionship. I grew up in and live in Manasquan, and look forward to meeting your pet! I currently work part time, and my hours are flexible. I have been taking care of various family and friend's dogs for several years, and wanted to cast a wider net with Rover. Caring for your dog is a partnership between me, you and your pet. My career background is in market research, so I am a very good asking questions and observing behaviors. So I'll start by asking lots of questions, getting to know your pet, and putting safety, trust and communication at the forefront of our relationship.

“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for caring for Cooper during our wedding! Samantha is so caring towards our pup, and sends regular updates. We are so grateful to have someone we can rely on to watch our baby!”

About: Hi! I’m Kendal—an energetic, dog-loving sitter and future veterinarian with years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. Whether I’m walking high-energy dogs, comforting anxious rescues, or supporting senior pups with extra TLC, I always bring patience, empathy, and a vet-bound level of attentiveness. I’ve worked with animals through vet clinics, rescue organizations, and educational programs like Project Terrapin, giving me a deep understanding of canine behavior and health. I adapt to your dog’s needs—whether that means fetch in the yard, calm companionship, or help with routine care. Every dog has their own personality, and I’m here to meet them right where they are—with enthusiasm, respect, and a whole lot of love. I currently work off-site Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, which allows me to offer consistent, high-quality pet care during early mornings, evenings, and weekends. I currently provide pet care in clients’ homes, as I do not board animals in my own residence. My focus is on offering attentive, reliable care that keeps pets comfortable and supported in their familiar environment. In Your Home (Sitting and Overnight Stays): When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their established routine as closely as possible. This includes timely feeding, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of companionship. I keep your home clean and your pet happy, providing regular updates so you can travel with peace of mind. During overnight stays, I ensure your pet receives care in the evening, overnight, and morning, with a walk or check-in before I leave for work and attentive care once I return. Drop-In Visits and Dog Walking: For walks and drop-ins, I tailor the visit to your pet’s needs—whether that means an energizing walk, quiet company, or extra attention for nervous or senior pets. I make sure they have clean food and water, a potty break, and interaction that matches their personality and preferences. With a strong foundation in pre-veterinary studies and years of hands-on animal care experience, I offer thoughtful, dependable care for every pet I meet.

“Charlie was great to work with! She was communicative and kind. One of our boys decided to roll in goose poop soon after she arrived, and she took care in cleaning him and his harness/collar while we were away. We were very thankful for her careful attention to our pups!”

“Emely was incredibly professional, communicative, and kind. I felt totally at ease leaving our elderly lab with her for the week. She stayed at our place while we were gone and was upfront about one wedding shoot she had scheduled during our trip and made sure we were comfortable with the timing (it ended up being in line with Scout's pee schedule, so it wasn't a problem at all). She kept us updated the whole stay which made me feel more comfortable as we're more attached to Scout than he is to us haha! I came home to a clean house, a calm dog, and detailed notes about how everything went. You can tell she truly loves animals and respects your routines. Highly recommend!”

Monica G.
“I am very particular about who pet sits my dog, even amongst my own friends and family . I must feel secure that my dog is well taken care of, or my time away is not relaxing. Monica is that person! My dog senses her goodness and is always excited to see her. Monica consistently provides us updates and cares for our dog as if it were her own. You couldn’t ask for a more attentive, responsible person to leave your pet with. I’m so happy we found her. We hit the dog sitting lottery!”

Samantha M.

“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for caring for Cooper during our wedding! Samantha is so caring towards our pup, and sends regular updates. We are so grateful to have someone we can rely on to watch our baby!”

Kendal G.
“I’ve known Kendal for a few years, and throughout that time, and at every possible opportunity, she’s demonstrated a loving, deeply informed, and fully genuine care and passion for animals. She’s an aspiring veterinarian and possesses a sort of savant-like knowledge of the animal kingdom that corresponds to her life’s passion. She knows the dosage and variety of tranquilizer needed to safely sedate a hippo, she knows the hazardous ingredients in my dog’s tick medication, and she understands intuitively what her cat, Mango, is feeling dependent on his body language: no tidbit of knowledge, no esoteric fact, no nuance is too niche for her. While all individuals on this app likely possess a deep love for animals, Kendal supplements that love with knowledge. If your dog gets into the chocolate, if your cat gets into the Advil, Kendal will know what to do because she both cares deeply and understands deeply. I have no doubt that she is the most overqualified pet sitter/walker you’ll ever cross paths with. She has my fullest endorsement.”

Charlie S.

“Charlie was great to work with! She was communicative and kind. One of our boys decided to roll in goose poop soon after she arrived, and she took care in cleaning him and his harness/collar while we were away. We were very thankful for her careful attention to our pups!”

Manasquan pet parents share their Rover experiences
We wholeheartedly recommend Courtney for dog sitting!! We felt so comfortable with her staying with our anxious momma’s boy. She sent us photos and gave us updates daily. She easily handled a few issues that came up with him. We treat our dog like a member of our family and are picky about who watches him and can honestly say we fully felt at ease knowing Courtney was staying at our home with our boy! And she left our home spotless:))

Carlee watched my dogs for a week. I have one dog, a slower-moving senior, and an active hound. I was able to stay in touch with her throughout the week if I needed anything or for updates. She clearly played with and spent time with the dogs. They were well taken care of. I had no issues, and I would be happy to rebook her.

Juliana was an amazing sitter for our pup, Archie! She took care of our home for seven days, and everything was just as we left it when we returned. We loved receiving daily pictures of our little potato while we were on vacation. Archie has definitely made a new friend! I would highly recommend her.
