About: Hi! Lifelong animal lover here. I've been a dog-sitter for many years, babysitting a wide range of beautiful dogs, from 4 month old puppies to regal 16 y/o ladies. I've had four beloved dogs in my life, but at this time I don't have any pets of my own. I think dogs are the most precious creatures in the world and I love keeping my little buddies happy, walking them, taking them on hikes, and spoiling their sweet faces! Dog photography is a hobby of mine so I always send my clients pics of their best friends while they're away; if you prefer not to be bothered with pictures, just let me know. đ Every dog is a good boi and I love them all. â¨ď¸ We don't deserve dogs. â¨ď¸ I work most days, 5-6 hours a day. When I'm not at work I'll be caring for your little buddy. I've been known to travel as far as Melbourne, Australia to dogsit for some of my favourite clients. I cannot host dogs at my home, as I live in a small apartment and we don't have a fenced yard. I am happy to housesit at your place, and I always leave my clients' homes cleaner than I found them.
About: Hi! I'm Melanie and I look forward to spending time with your loved ones. I've always had dogs of my own since I was a very young age. I have been the go to pet-sitter with friends and family for years when they have had to leave town or just have someone stop over for walks or to say hello. I lost my dog a while ago to a heart condition, so would love to help in caring for yours. I work from home, so my schedule is open to walk or hike and do overnight stays. I love the outdoors and would love your pet as it was my own. :) Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I am a remote worker, so I have plenty of time to attend to your loved one and can adjust to their schedule / routine. :) I care for pets as if they were my own. I respect their routines, boundaries, and personalities, and I make sure they feel safe and relaxed in their familiar space. Whether that means playtime, walks, cuddles, medication, or simply being a calm presence, I adjust my care to each petâs needs. I also treat my clientsâ homes with the same respect and care I would my own
âFirst time booking a dog walker in a place we were traveling in - to check in on our husky and walk him while we went up to Yosemite to hike non dog friendly areas. Haley was communicative, prompt, and spent quality time with our husky. Got home after a day of hiking the park to a happy and content dog. Thanks for taking care of our fluffball! highly recommend if you need help with your pupper.â

âAshley recently walked my senior dog for the first time, and I was thoroughly impressed! She was prompt, professional, and communicated clearly both before and after the walk. It was so reassuring to get updates on how my dog did and any important details I needed to know. Even after just one walk, itâs clear that Ashley has a deep understanding of senior dogs and their specific needs. She was mindful of my dog's limitations and made sure the pace and care were just right, which gave me peace of mind. On top of all that, Ashley is incredibly kind and easy to work with. My dog seemed comfortable with her right away. Iâm confident that she will continue to be a great match for us. If youâre looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and compassionate dog walker, I highly recommend giving Ashley a try. You and your dog will be in great hands!â

âMy boy had a great time today with Mark and his dog, Bernie! Mark was super communicative and made this experience very easy for us. He also took some epic photos! Iâll definitely be reaching out the next time I need dog care in June Lake.â

About: NO PET BOARDING (sorryđ) - house sitting (at petâs home) is the only overnight service I can provide due to lease restrictions. Enthusiastic pet parent and previous Rover sitter; previous dog-walking and cat-sitting/care volunteer work at Priceless Pets animal shelter. (Childcare experience an added bonus!) Experience with all of the general minutia of keeping pets safe and happy. Capable of handling big dogs in fun-having, walking and washing contexts, but still a sucker for the adorable little guys. I live a pretty active life, am quite flexible, and would love to help you give your fuzzy friends the best experience possible, be they happy-go-lucky or calm and sleepy. Early wake ups not a problem! Happy to do regular appointments or one-time sits as well. Outside of Rover, I may be found running, listening to music, or writing. I hold a bachelors degree in Biology from Brown University (2021). Claremont is home, so I know the area well. I am working part time, and have a pretty flexible schedule. Able to work on short notice and happy to work together to meet your scheduling needs. I have a dog that spends a lot of time in our yard, but prefers the company of cats>dogs. I am happy to dogsit in your home, but really only feel comfortable boarding cats or non-dog friends in my own. All critters will be kept separate for added comfort and safety of all :)
âSam was on time and confirmed the end of the walk with a picture of our pup! She was super responsive and booked quickly when I was in a bit of a jam. Would absolutely book her again!â

I am gentle towards animals and am glad to maintain whatever boundaries are normally at place in your home. If you donât give people food, neither do I! If you donât have them on the couch, neither do I!
