“Elizabeth was great with our timid bernadoodle and took her out for great walks while we were on the mountain. Our dog came back tired and happy and we were able to enjoy a fun day on the mountain knowing our dog was also having fun.”

About: I am absolutely dedicated to animals. In 2016, I founded Vicki’s Village Animal Rescue, a 501c3 nonprofit that rescues, rehabilitates and rehome senior and special needs animals. The organization closed its doors in January 2023 because of lack of funding, but I am continually looking for ways to help people and their animals. Myself and my father are the full time animal caretakers at the rescue. We are located in BENTON, so please be aware of that when booking 🙂 I am willing to schedule pick ups and drop offs for your convenience. My schedule is very open and I try to be as flexible as possible so please don’t hesitate to ask for special accommodations, I will be glad to do what I can. I live on 5 acres that is completely fenced in. There is a rescue building (not a dog house) specifically for the animals with it’s own fenced yard on the property. I utilize the several outdoor kennels we have for my animals while your animals stay in the main house with us.
About: I’ve been caring for all kinds of creatures since I was a kid. I’ve always especially loved big dogs and scardey cats. I’m quite good at reading an animal’s body language and responding appropriately. I have experience with administering meds to pets (including ones who are pill-adverse) and managing puppy energy. I love both dogs and cats and I look forward to caring for your fluffy fam! I’m an aide at the local Bishop schools, and available before/after school as well as on weekends for pet care. Around holidays and over the summer, I am able to offer extended hours! I am very respectful and responsible in client homes; a skill I developed in my many years offering child care to families in their homes.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
