About: I've had pets my entire life, with ranging energy levels and health needs. I have also done a ton of dog and cat sitting, both in my own home and overnight stays. I currently work a pretty set schedule of 6 am - 2 pm, so I'm able to take them out/feed in the morning and then do longer walks in the afternoon. I'm pretty active, so any hikes or outdoor activities I can absolutely bring them with me if they're car-comfortable ! I want to make your pet as comfortable around me as possible, so whatever your normal routine is, I want to stick to that as much as I can!

About: Enthusiastic pet parent and previous Rover sitter; previous dog-walking and cat-sitting/care volunteer work at Priceless Pets animal shelter. (Childcare experience an added bonus!) Experience with all of the general minutia of keeping pets safe and happy. Capable of handling big dogs in fun-having, walking and washing contexts, but still a sucker for the adorable little guys. I live a pretty active life, am quite flexible, and would love to help you give your fuzzy friends the best experience possible, be they happy-go-lucky or calm and sleepy. Early wake ups not a problem! Happy to do regular appointments or one-time sits as well. Outside of Rover, I may be found running, listening to music, or writing. I hold a bachelors degree in Biology from Brown University (2021). Claremont is home, so I know the area well. I am working part time, and have a pretty flexible schedule. Able to work on short notice and happy to work together to meet your scheduling needs. I have a dog that spends a lot of time in our yard, but prefers the company of cats>dogs. I am happy to dogsit in your home, but really only feel comfortable boarding cats or non-dog friends in my own. All critters will be kept separate for added comfort and safety of all :)

I have access to endless Eastern Sierra backroads and know the best spots in the area to let your dog roam and give you the peace of mind that your dog is in great hands. About: Your pets will be in good hands. I was a 4-H kid and grew up on a mini-farm in the Northern California redwoods. We raised a variety of animals for show and as family pets. I cared for many of the neighbor's pets as well including dogs, cats, horses, sheep, pigs, bunny rabbits, and the occasional goldfish! I am a bit of a dog-whisperer too and can get even the most unruly of beasts to settle down. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks or hikes and have experience caring for puppies and senior dogs as well. I am more than just an animal lover, I'm reliable and in tune with your pet's needs, and show every pet the same level of care that they get from you. Before my stay, I will verify that your pet's care instructions are understood including current vet information, an emergency contact who can make decisions for your pet while you are away, and other important care information, such as feeding instructions, potty breaks, methods used to reward or correct behavior, and exercise schedule. Animals thrive with a daily routine, and the flexibility of my schedule allows me to feed, walk, and play with your pet on their schedule. No more long days spent in a crate or kennel waiting for someone to show up. Please book as far in advance as you can so that I can provide the best service possible while juggling requests from many families. I am very attentive to your pet's needs and will do my best to keep them happy and healthy. Most dogs have little behavior quirks, like carrying their food bowls around before dinner time, separation anxiety, or barking at the UPS driver. The more I can learn about their behaviors, the easier it will be for me to prepare for them. During my stay or visit, you can expect a daily photo or video update so you can be assured that your pet is staying active and having fun! In the rare event that medical attention is needed, I am familiar with the local veterinarians and can get help quickly (I am very resourceful). I adhere to any special dietary needs your pets may have and can administer meds as needed (including shots). If staying in your home, I am very respectful of your space and you will come home to a clean and tidy environment (leave no trace).
