“Jackie took care of my two cats for 2.5 weeks and she has been excellent! Super communicative, attention to detail, and sends updates. Even weeks out from the reservation, she communicated some minor changes that may affect the stay - very thoughtful. Would definitely ask Jackie to take care of the kitties again!”

About: Mammoth local offering loving dog care and scenic trail adventures, with plenty of exercise, attention, cuddles, and personalized care for every pup, each and every day. “Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I enjoy spending time outdoors, staying active, and giving animals plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and consistent care.” In my home, pets receive a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and regular potty breaks. In clients’ homes, I follow each pet’s normal routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, litter box cleaning, and lots of companionship to help them feel comfortable and relaxed while their owners are away.
“Joy is absolutely wonderful, and her beautiful homestead in the Sierras is a calm, serene oasis. Our pup, Riley has separation anxiety, so we were previously apprehensive to leave him w/ a sitter. But as soon as we met Joy and spent a little time at her place, we had total peace of mind leaving him with her - she is very caring, kind and understands dogs. Riley had a great time, zooming around the fenced in yard, playing in the creek and enjoying doggie companions. Highly recommend… I’d stay there if Joy took in humans!”

Noys did a great job taking care of Sky for a couple days! She was easy to communicate with and provided regular updates. Sky had a great time playing with Noys’ dogs and hanging out at her house and came back happy and tired. We will definitely use Noys again when we’re in Mammoth!

Ashley was great while watching my pup for two days. Super easy to communicate with, did a meet and greet before hand, and was accommodating for special care during the stay. She kept me up to date with all their hikes and play time with her dogs which was appreciated. Will definitely book again! Thank you Ashley for looking after Finn!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
