Pet care experience
Pet happiness is my goal!
I have experience sitting at hotels, airbnbs, campgrounds in the local area, parking lot walks on the Mountain, and working with reactive dogs. I can provide additional services including picking up groceries, dishes, light food prep, laundry and other pet + home concierge services. I grew up with Rottweilers, a German Shepherd, an English bulldog and a puglet. My nephews are 90 lb Dobermans and I have helped raise three puppies, including a pitty and a frenchie (separately). I grew up with outdoor cats and the first book I learned to “read” (I memorized it) was a book called “I love Cats the most!”. As a kid I loved reading my Cat Encyclopedia and my dictionary of dog breeds. I love being around all kinds of animals; I’ve cared for birds, horses, snakes, chickens (my favorite!) and chinchillas. I'm happy to help train, it’s something I’m very interested in and have done my own learning through books and online videos. I am happy to pick up poop, vomit, brush fur, give baths, anything for the animals! I am very active, love to get the dogs playing but can also just hang out in the sunny spots with your kitty, whatever your pet likes. I truly believe animals are the best souls.

Safety, trust & environment
My current apartment does not allow pets. I can offer dog walks and cat check-ins, or house sits at the clients home. I have experience sitting for vacationers staying in rentals, campgrounds or hotels.
Ratings and reviews
Tanya did a great job befriending my 2 shy cats. Both relaxed around her at their own speeds, and I got the rover card evidence of this to put my mind at ease. I think that I'll be more comfortable traveling in the future.

Schedule
I work full-time during the week and cannot provide midday care this season but I am available for overnights. I can provide basic training as needed. I am not available for 24-hour sits.

- Tell me about anything in your dogs environment that they do not like? Doorbells? Small children? Squirrels? I will avoid these triggers or I can practice desensitizing training if you so wish. Is your cat sensitive to pets? Are they a houdini? Let me know so I can adjust accordingly.
