“Truly amazing dog sitter! We booked a long trip and had Cristin see our boys x3 a day. Cristin was so great with our boys and communicated with me every single day. She even adjusted her schedule to help with my mom guilt and spent more time with our boys. Highly recommend Cristin and her care for your pets.”

About: I'm 33 years old. I look care of dogs my whole life and that's my passion. I take them out for walks bring them to dog parks play in yard with them. I always bring them to Petco and bye them toys or treats.I rather be around animals better then people they don't answer back they love you unconditionally and they always put a smile on your face. So when you come into my place don't worry it's always puppy play time all day long. I always say my place is there place. They will always have fun and be outside for walks and play and of course bathroom time. I have plenty of toys you don't worry. Puppy play time all the time. Thanks.
“Amandine took great care of our little Shih Tzu boy! We were having an unusually late night in the city for New Year’s Eve, and Badger is happiest at home so I didn’t want to board him somewhere overnight if I didn’t have to. Amandine was able to come twice that evening for his dinner and a couple outings. He got up to all his usual silliness on her visits, and was happy as a clam when we got home. Badger was comfortable with her right away and my husband and I were able to enjoy our Brooklyn NYE (Robyn at The Paramount, which was worth the very late night!) knowing he was taken care of and would be waiting for us when we got home. Amandine is very friendly and professional, and more than qualified to be a wonderful petsitter. We highly recommend her services!”

“Sofia is a warm, reliable, intelligent and kind true animal lover. She’s trustworthy and very tuned into behavior, asking all the right questions. She’s invested and I highly recommend her services!”

About: I've been around animals all of my life. My family owns a small farm in Scotland and Pakistan. We take care of dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and many more! I've gained alot of experience since a young age. I'm familiar with the temperament and personalities of most dog and cat breeds. I have knowledge and experience with both to know what their needs are on a daily basis. For right now I am on call for a spa. I have most open availability during the week and some weekends. We can always work something out! A special skill of mine is massage. I have an esthetician license and have learned many different massage techniques over the past 6 years. I love to incorporate that into my care for the animals. When they are stressed, anxious, or just want some attention it helps to relax and soothe them.
About: I have taken care of my own three cats and other friends dogs over the span of weeks at a time. I love animals. Yay I am currently a preschool teacher just looking for some extra work. About: I understand that every dog (and cat) is different and I'd love to develop a relationship to keep your pet comfortable and active! I would update regularly, personalize the care I'm giving, and offer different exercises based on activity levels! I have an extremely flexible schedule and would enjoy working with any pet! I would like to add that I'm almost always free in the morning, but my afternoon schedule varies. I'm always near my phone and respond quickly; I also have my own car, so all I need is information on who it is I'm going to see and where! I would make sure to follow instructions on how to best care for your pet; you know them best. I would respect your environment and treat it like it's my own.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Mamaroneck
Wendy was wonderful. She connected with Oliver right away. My dog is usually afraid of people but he warmed up quite quickly to Wendy. She was prompt with her responses and was punctual with walking times. I would definitely have her help us out again in the future. Thank you so much Wendy!

Skye was extremely helpful in taking care of my dog. I reached out to her for a last minute booking. She was very accommodating from the start and incredibly prompt with her response time. Handled my quirky pup so well, gave him his morning medication and was always on time for his walks. I even had a flight cancellation and she was able to help mouth with another possible last minute booking as well. I highly recommend her to take care of your pet!

Stacie has been walking our nervous boxer for several weeks now, and she’s been great! Our pup has a history of anxiety, especially around cars, and she gently works with him to be comfortable walking further distances. She is super communicative and gives such sweet and detailed reports of how he’s doing. We’re grateful to have her working with our boy.

We are always confident we can rely on Shae, she is responsive and responsible. Our dog loves Shae and immediately took to her. We know that not only will she get a break outside from a day alone, but that she will have a chance to connect with a friend when we ask Shae to come walk her. Thank you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
