“Wanda & Lonnie are the best! More than a life saver… they took me at the last minute without hesitation. And my dog Cannon really made himself at home in their lovely home in Wailuku. They are attentive, caring and very loving towards our 4-legged fur babies. And now that we’ve established a relationship I won’t bring my Cannon to no one else but them. And, believe or not, I never worried about him a single time, I knew in my heart he was in VERY good hands! Mahalo a million times and hats off to the both of them!❤️”

“Shanelle came in clutch!! I had a friend bail last minute with watching my dog, so I had to scramble. She was quick to respond to all my questions and made me feel confident that my little lady was going to be in great hands. I received pictures and updates about my dog regularly and could rest easy while away. Shanelle is very friendly and easy to talk to. I will be using her services again when needed, thank you so much!!”

“Carrie & Jonathan take care of her and updated me. Carrie was very flexible and willing to accept her my request when my plans was changed. I appreciate it your willingness, and I am grateful for your support and care of my dog.”
“Madison and her husband were great! Great communication. Sent us pictures. Swaggy seemed happy and very well taken care of! I believe he would definitely like to play with Madison again!”

“My little dog, Buddy, had a marvelous time with Leah. Leah provided great communication and kept me updated while I was traveling. Buddy made a new friend in Marley. We would absolutely use Leah again!”

“Yen took such wonderful care of our pup, Blue, while we were on vacation! She kept us updated with lots of pictures, and it was clear that Blue was happy, comfortable, and well loved. We came home to a calm, content dog, a true sign he was in good hands. Highly recommend Yen and would absolutely book with her again!”

“Can’t recommend Bridget and her family highly enough! My pup, Ren, immediately joined in with the pack at her house, and completely bonded with her sweet dog Prim. Not only did I get a vacation, but I think he went on the best vacation ever as well at their home! Got an adventure through the sprinklers, a trip to the beach, and lots of love and play. I was updated and felt reassured daily with pictures of his transition and enjoyment. Will definitely be calling again for pupsitting!”

“Sachi had a wonderful stay with Casey. Casey is an excellent dog sitter and I would highly recommend him. Shortly after our “meet and greet” visit, we returned Sachi for an overnight stay and as soon as we parked the car Sachi could hardly wait to run to Casey’s front door! Thank you, Casey, for taking good care of Sachi.”

“Jurassic Bark is the perfect spot to drop our dog when we head out of town. I feel comfortable he’ll be safe, taken care of, and have a blast. My dog always comes home happy and tired from all the fun. Would recommend!!”

About: I've been a dog, cat, and chicken owner for much of my life. I am a dog walker, previous dog groomer, and volunteer at the Maui Humane Society. I have fostered many animals and my family and I are used to introducing new animals Into our home and loving them like our own. I would love to meet you and your pets and see how I can help them feel comfortable while you are away! My current schedule is very flexible, so let's discuss what you need! I am home most of the time and available on weekends for pet sitting, but not dog walking. I live upcountry on two acres in a gated subdivision. My yard is not fenced, so your pet will be kept with me in our home and leashed at all times when outside. I do not have any other pets, so yours will get all the attention!
About: I have extensive experience in dog training and care as my Dad’s business was in rehabilitation, training and boarding for dogs. I worked as an employee for 5 years and also had opportunities to help train and care for the dogs from 12 years old. I love learning more every time I interact with a new dog. I am skilled at training dogs to get over leash aggression and constant pulling. I have worked with many different breeds of dogs and have learned a lot about how this can alter their specific needs. I have a part time job where I’m busy on Wednesdays and Fridays. Otherwise I am available to enjoy time with your doggo all day. I live on a large property with lots of fun things to smell and explore! It isn’t fenced, I intend to keep your dog close with a leash unless you feel they aren’t likely to try and run away.
“Michele & Brian took such wonderful care of our 1.5yr old Kruz, and we’re truly so grateful! He’s a high-energy pup and can definitely be a handful, especially in a new environment with new people and dogs but they handled him with so much patience, structure, and care. They have a beautiful & fenced property — kept him active with daily walks and dog park visits (which he absolutely loved!) and even worked on some training. It was so reassuring to know he was not only being cared for, but also engaged and learning. It gave us such peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. We truly appreciate the time, attention, and extra effort they put into caring for him. Thank you both again for keeping up with our energetic boy - you’re amazing ⭐️🤗”

“Ms. Dee has such a caring attitude and big heart not just for her baby Judd but to my POTPOT as well. I can feel how wonderful and warm she is to him. I am worried how POTPOT will behave since this is his first house boarding ever. Ms. Dee and Judd welcomed him with open arms and 🐾 ❤️ Thank you for the TLC and for the updates. This is definitely not the last. Judd and PotPot need to do their walk again in the near future. Thank you so much again Ms. Dee! You’re an amazing fur mom 🥰”

“Our dog is a little anxious around people she doesn't know but Johnathan made her feel comfortable and took great care of her while we were away. He gave her lots of cuddles and took her for walks (her favorite things). He was really fast at responding to messages, and we'd love to use his dog-sitting services again.”

“Gio did an amazing job taking care of my 8-month-old puppy, Mariko. She was great about sending me photos and videos of Mariko playing with her dog, Miki, and getting plenty of exercise. I really appreciated how attentive she was—when a problem came up with Mariko’s eyes, Gio was very prompt in letting me know and worked with me to figure out the best solution. It gave me real peace of mind knowing Mariko was in such good hands. I’ll definitely be using Gio’s dog-sitting services again the next time I need to travel off island!”

“Omgggg I can’t say enough. ?????? I was nervous to leave Markus while I went away out of town. I dropped him off w/ Eric and Nancy & immediately I started getting pictures of Markus from his stay with Eric & Nancy. So nice to hear daily updates & feel Iike I knew how he was and what he was up to. I would totally book with them again. So so grateful I have a place for Markus in Maui.”

“Madilyn was great! She really connected with our dog well. Her dog and our dog were like twin new best-buddies. But she gave us lots of flexibility, whether ours would stay with her by himself or if her dog would be there. It was perfect. Will definitely use her again. Mahalo.”

“Daria is the best! This is our first time leaving our 6 months beagle for a 4 days trip and Daria was so great with him. There is a park right next to her building so our pup got plenty of exercise. She sent us pictures and video updates everyday which we appreciate. We can tell our pup was happy and had fun while we were away and he was able to adapt back into our normal routine right away. Thanks Daria!”

“We will definitely book Christina again. She took amazing care of our puppy Miley. She sent us updates and pictures daily while we were off island. She kept up with her training and even gave us training tips to use going forward. She gave us amazing recommendations to help us ease our dogs separation anxiety. She knew exactly what to do when our dog wouldn’t eat her food on our first day away from her. Miley was in the best hands possible and we felt that Christina took care of Miley as if she were her own. If you are looking for someone to take the best care of your pup while you’re away, Christina is hands down the best!”

We are so grateful we found Nicole! Our usual sitter canceled right before a trip, and with our senior dog being such an important part of our family, we were nervous about leaving him with someone we didn’t know. From the start, Nicole was responsive, kind, and reassuring. She kept us updated with messages and photos, took him on hikes, and treated him with so much care and attention. It was clear he was happy, comfortable, and well loved while we were away. Knowing he was in such good hands gave us complete peace of mind and allowed our family to truly enjoy our vacation. We would highly recommend Nicole and would happily trust her with our dog again in the future.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
