“Katherine and Jordan were able to accommodate our last minute booking, which we really appreciated. They were prompt with responses and took lots of time on the phone prior to booking to discuss our dogs personality, habits and needs. Having a Siberian husky, we always feel anxious about having someone new care for our dog, as they have some unique characteristics. However, after chatting with Jordan we felt reassured as he understands the breed well from previously having a couple of his own. Katherine and Jordan are very passionate and knowledgeable and seem very in tune with the needs of the various dogs they care for. Their property is beautiful, with lots of grass and areas to explore and many safety protocols in place to ensure the dogs are kept safe and contained. Mikko was really happy to see us, but I think mostly because he missed air conditioning haha... we're happy to know and confirm there is a great option here on Maui for boarding. Mikko will definitely be back! Mahalo!”

About: I have a husky mix Kea and we are super active! Daily walks and animal care is in my daily routine. I have been doing rover for a long time now. Apart from dogs, I worked/lived at a cat sanctuary in Haiku that had over 200+ cats as well as chickens and cows. My job consisted of feeding, giving medicine/attention, and cleaning after them everyday. I take care of my husky mix Kea everyday! I work from home m-f and have lots of free time. I love to take care of all kinds of animals. I am looking for some extra jobs on the island! I would make sure I am aware of the clients needs and expectations when being in their home. I will be aware of any precautions and contact the owner with any issues. I will take care of the animals with anything that is needed (walking/feeding/put into crate/attention), I am a quick learner and am open to any specific jobs.

About: I have extensive experience in dog training and care as my Dad’s business was in rehabilitation, training and boarding for dogs. I worked as an employee for 5 years and also had opportunities to help train and care for the dogs from 12 years old. I love learning more every time I interact with a new dog. I am skilled at training dogs to get over leash aggression and constant pulling. I have worked with many different breeds of dogs and have learned a lot about how this can alter their specific needs. I have a part time job where I’m busy on Wednesdays and Fridays. Otherwise I am available to enjoy time with your doggo all day. I live on a large property with lots of fun things to smell and explore! It isn’t fenced, I intend to keep your dog close with a leash unless you feel they aren’t likely to try and run away.

“Gio did an amazing job taking care of my 8-month-old puppy, Mariko. She was great about sending me photos and videos of Mariko playing with her dog, Miki, and getting plenty of exercise. I really appreciated how attentive she was—when a problem came up with Mariko’s eyes, Gio was very prompt in letting me know and worked with me to figure out the best solution. It gave me real peace of mind knowing Mariko was in such good hands. I’ll definitely be using Gio’s dog-sitting services again the next time I need to travel off island!”

About: I’ve been a dog lover since my first puppy, Zeus. I had him and grew up with him for ten years of my life and now I am blessed with another puppy, Koda. I’ve always had a soft spot for dogs and show the most attentive care for them. Especially because my Koda has seizures, I’m always home and around. And our loving little town has an amazing dog park for outdoor time. Everyday, koda and I begin our morning with a walk then breakfast. I am always home so he’s glued to my side during the day. We do our thing around the house or on sunny days we head out to the dog park. Afterwards it’s back home and dinner time. I have my fur baby so your loved one will never be alone. I allow pets on furniture and to freely Rome the house. Any outdoor time would be walks around the neighborhood or to the dog park.
