Caring for animals is already part of our everyday life. Our days naturally include walks, play, and quiet time with Einstein, so welcoming more furry friends into that rhythm feels easy and natural. I work outside the home three days a week, and on those days Abe is home, so pets are never left alone for long stretches. On the days I’m home, we enjoy spending plenty of one-on-one or two-on-one time giving attention, play, and care. Pets aren’t just fit into our schedule at certain times of day. They’re woven into the flow of my life, whether that’s hanging out in the living room, joining me outside for fresh air, or simply being close by while we work or relax. We make sure they feel included, comfortable, and cared for throughout the day. Due to allergies, we currently accept only non-shedding small dogs.

We create a space that feels both safe and comforting, with secure doors, cozy spots to rest, and a fenced yard for fresh air and play. The yard is a place to explore, but never on their own — we’re always outside with them, whether it’s playing, lounging, or just keeping gentle watch while they sniff and wander. Pets here have steady companionship. Between my own schedule and Abe being home when I’m at work, they’re never left without care for long. We keep a close eye on their needs, offering play, cuddles, or quiet presence depending on what makes them feel most at ease. For me, caring for animals isn’t just about safety or routine. It’s about creating an environment where pets feel secure, seen, and truly loved — and where you can feel complete peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.

The more we know ahead of time — about routines, favorite activities, or even small quirks — the better we can make their stay feel seamless and safe. We love hearing about the little things that matter, like the toy they always reach for, the way they like to be greeted, or what helps them settle at night. We do best with pets who can relax into a calm, loving home environment. We welcome animals who are house-trained and comfortable sharing space as part of the daily rhythm here. If your pet has special needs or behaviors that require extra attention, we simply ask that we talk through them in advance so we can care for them with the thoughtfulness they deserve. Our hearts in this work is to give pets a space where they feel secure and deeply cared for, and clear communication up front makes that possible for all of us
A typical day
Every day looks a little different depending on the pet, but it always includes a mix of play, fresh air, and plenty of affection. Some days that might mean tossing a ball around in the yard, taking time for a walk, or sitting outside together while they explore and sniff. Other times it’s more about cuddles, belly rubs, or simply being close by so they feel secure. We like to keep the rhythm relaxed and natural, tuned to each pet’s energy and comfort level. Active pets get the exercise and stimulation they love, while more easygoing ones get the cozy companionship that helps them feel at home. No matter the activity, the heart of a typical day here is connection — making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and included in the flow of life.

I’ve shared my life with dogs, cats, horses, and even a tortoise, and I know each animal has their own personality, rhythms, and ways of feeling secure. My style is nurturing, playful, and detail-oriented, always tuned in to what helps your pet feel safe and cared for. We offer care in our home, where Abe and I create a calm and joyful environment for animals to relax and enjoy themselves. On the three days a week I’m at work, my husband Abe is home, so there’s always someone here to give your pet company and attention. Whether your pet loves adventure, cozy cuddles, or just having a steady presence nearby, I take pride in making them feel right at home. We specialize in separation anxiety cases as we are able to always have one person home with your pet. When you leave your companion with us, you can trust they’ll be cared for with patience, attentiveness, and genuine love.

We are thrilled that our little Willa pup has gotten used to being at Amber, Abe, and Einstein’s house! She settled down quickly today, went potty, got a treat, then a nice rest inside. We were sent plenty of updates and pictures so that we could go out and have a great day on the boat without worrying about leaving Willa home alone for hours. She is like our child and we trust them 110% to look after her!!
We love Amber, Abe & Einstein!! They are the sweetest family and always take such great care of our little fur baby! We get an update right after she gets dropped off and plenty of pictures throughout. We are never left wondering how Willa is doing and they are super quick to communicate. Highly recommended these guys!
Our boy Bleu had a wonderful weekend with Amber & Abe! He’s a Havanese who’s prone to separation anxiety - but Amber & Abe (and Einstein) made him feel at home. We received lots of updates which helped us to enjoy our time away. Mahalo to Amber & Abe for taking such good care of our little prince.
Willa is starting to become a regular with these guys! The more she goes to their house, the quicker she is to settle in. We’re so grateful that they are so welcoming and willing to work with Willa’s separation anxiety. Each time it gets a little bit better :) We feel very much at ease leaving her with Amber, Abe, and Einstein. They are the best sitters that we could ask for!!
