“Wanda & Lonnie were wonderful! Their space is amazing. They sent great photos while we were away and were so understanding for being running late from dropping and picking up Brulee. We can tell Brulee has a great time and I can tell that they took good care of Brulee. I highly recommend them.”

“We are so grateful to have found Amber, Abe, and Einstein!! They sent us pictures and videos throughout Willa’s stay while we were out of town. It was so comforting to know that she was being cared for and loved by them. She had plenty of lap time, potty breaks, rest time and lizard hunting! We couldn’t imagine better pet sitters than these guys!!”

“Carrie & Jonathan take care of her and updated me. Carrie was very flexible and willing to accept her my request when my plans was changed. I appreciate it your willingness, and I am grateful for your support and care of my dog.”

“This was the first time i have ever left winter with anyone other then family. Randi was amazing she new i was nervous about that so she sent all kinds of videos and photos. With winter being so small only 3 pounds needs extra care and attention. I will only be leaving winter with randi for now on i highly recommend her. Thanks again Randi”

“Madison watched our 2 pups for a week while I started a new job in Colorado and my wife traveled with family. We were pretty nervous to all be apart but Madison did such a great job! She updated us several times a day with pictures, videos, and information which really allowed us to enjoy our lives with worrying. I would recommend her to anyone considering her services - an excellent dog sitter! Next time we need to have someone watch the dogs, we’ll be contacting her first. Thank you, Madison!!”

“Sachi had a wonderful stay with Casey. Casey is an excellent dog sitter and I would highly recommend him. Shortly after our “meet and greet” visit, we returned Sachi for an overnight stay and as soon as we parked the car Sachi could hardly wait to run to Casey’s front door! Thank you, Casey, for taking good care of Sachi.”

“My little dog, Buddy, had a marvelous time with Leah. Leah provided great communication and kept me updated while I was traveling. Buddy made a new friend in Marley. We would absolutely use Leah again!”

“Can’t recommend Bridget and her family highly enough! My pup, Ren, immediately joined in with the pack at her house, and completely bonded with her sweet dog Prim. Not only did I get a vacation, but I think he went on the best vacation ever as well at their home! Got an adventure through the sprinklers, a trip to the beach, and lots of love and play. I was updated and felt reassured daily with pictures of his transition and enjoyment. Will definitely be calling again for pupsitting!”

“Yen took such wonderful care of our pup, Blue, while we were on vacation! She kept us updated with lots of pictures, and it was clear that Blue was happy, comfortable, and well loved. We came home to a calm, content dog, a true sign he was in good hands. Highly recommend Yen and would absolutely book with her again!”

“Bauer had the best time during his 4-night stay at Jurassic Bark! The care, updates, and love he received were amazing—we felt completely at ease the whole time. He came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Diann boarded my 11-year-old dog, Munchkin, for a week while I was on a trip. He is partially blind and diabetic, needing insulin injections twice a day. Diann is patient, caring, attentive, and experienced. She sent frequent updates and photos of him on walks with her sweet dog Judd. I felt relief on my trip to know that Munchkin was in good hands. Thank you!”

About: I have extensive experience in dog training and care as my Dad’s business was in rehabilitation, training and boarding for dogs. I worked as an employee for 5 years and also had opportunities to help train and care for the dogs from 12 years old. I love learning more every time I interact with a new dog. I am skilled at training dogs to get over leash aggression and constant pulling. I have worked with many different breeds of dogs and have learned a lot about how this can alter their specific needs. I have a part time job where I’m busy on Wednesdays and Fridays. Otherwise I am available to enjoy time with your doggo all day. I live on a large property with lots of fun things to smell and explore! It isn’t fenced, I intend to keep your dog close with a leash unless you feel they aren’t likely to try and run away.
“Gio did an amazing job taking care of my 8-month-old puppy, Mariko. She was great about sending me photos and videos of Mariko playing with her dog, Miki, and getting plenty of exercise. I really appreciated how attentive she was—when a problem came up with Mariko’s eyes, Gio was very prompt in letting me know and worked with me to figure out the best solution. It gave me real peace of mind knowing Mariko was in such good hands. I’ll definitely be using Gio’s dog-sitting services again the next time I need to travel off island!”

“Beau's first overnight with Nicole and I know he had an amazing visit. Nicole took the time to meet Beau before our visit and introduced us to her beautiful puppy, Delilah. Communication during the stay was great, we couldn't be happier. Thanks, Nicole and Delilah!”

“Rochelle is amazing! My dog has anxiety so I can tell when he is comfortable and has a good time, and he was very happy being with her. She only takes small dogs so this was also a plus as Chewie is nervous around big dogs, especially as he was attacked by a larger dog in the past. I will certainly use her again. She is a gem!”

“Michele & Brian took such wonderful care of our 1.5yr old Kruz, and we’re truly so grateful! He’s a high-energy pup and can definitely be a handful, especially in a new environment with new people and dogs but they handled him with so much patience, structure, and care. They have a beautiful & fenced property — kept him active with daily walks and dog park visits (which he absolutely loved!) and even worked on some training. It was so reassuring to know he was not only being cared for, but also engaged and learning. It gave us such peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. We truly appreciate the time, attention, and extra effort they put into caring for him. Thank you both again for keeping up with our energetic boy - you’re amazing ⭐️🤗”

“Jolene and Temehani are the absolute best! We recently moved to the island with our furr baby, Mochi. He had to fly in a day early, so we needed someone to look after him. Jolene and Temehani were incredible! They were super helpful and took amazing care of Mochi after his long flight. I can't thank them enough. If you need someone to watch your furry baby, I 100% recommend them!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Kula
We are so grateful we found Nicole! Our usual sitter canceled right before a trip, and with our senior dog being such an important part of our family, we were nervous about leaving him with someone we didn’t know. From the start, Nicole was responsive, kind, and reassuring. She kept us updated with messages and photos, took him on hikes, and treated him with so much care and attention. It was clear he was happy, comfortable, and well loved while we were away. Knowing he was in such good hands gave us complete peace of mind and allowed our family to truly enjoy our vacation. We would highly recommend Nicole and would happily trust her with our dog again in the future.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in HI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
