About: I have a husky mix Kea and we are super active! Daily walks and animal care is in my daily routine. I have been doing rover for a long time now. Apart from dogs, I worked/lived at a cat sanctuary in Haiku that had over 200+ cats as well as chickens and cows. My job consisted of feeding, giving medicine/attention, and cleaning after them everyday. I take care of my husky mix Kea everyday! I work from home m-f and have lots of free time. I love to take care of all kinds of animals. I am looking for some extra jobs on the island! I would make sure I am aware of the clients needs and expectations when being in their home. I will be aware of any precautions and contact the owner with any issues. I will take care of the animals with anything that is needed (walking/feeding/put into crate/attention), I am a quick learner and am open to any specific jobs.

About: I’ve been a dog lover since my first puppy, Zeus. I had him and grew up with him for ten years of my life and now I am blessed with another puppy, Koda. I’ve always had a soft spot for dogs and show the most attentive care for them. Especially because my Koda has seizures, I’m always home and around. And our loving little town has an amazing dog park for outdoor time. Everyday, koda and I begin our morning with a walk then breakfast. I am always home so he’s glued to my side during the day. We do our thing around the house or on sunny days we head out to the dog park. Afterwards it’s back home and dinner time. I have my fur baby so your loved one will never be alone. I allow pets on furniture and to freely Rome the house. Any outdoor time would be walks around the neighborhood or to the dog park.

About: For my kindergarten career day I showed up as a vet. After that, I became the kid in the house that would constantly be "adopting" new animals. It goes without saying that I've always been an animal lover. This led me to study and graduate with a bachelors in animal science and veterinary studies. Throughout my bachelors I was a foster parent for my university's pre veterinary and pet rescue group. During this time I fostered dozens of pets (cats and dogs). After graduating I developed an entered in conservation and my career path shifted to the study of wildlife conservation. I know that with my academic and professional experience I'm more than prepared but as a pet parent myself and a veterinary technician I understand that no matter how safe they are, we still worry. About: Aloha :) My dogs and I would love to have your dog stay at our house in Olinda! We have a fenced yard and a few (partially fenced) acres of land beyond that for the pups to play and fetch the ball (depending on your comfort level with that, of course). Delilah is a sweet 4 year old golden retriever who loves equally to play and chill. Bear is a 2 year old golden Aussie who *always* loves to play and love on other pups! We live 10 minutes from both Olinda forest and Makawao forest so we usually go for morning walks there 4-5 days week. We would love to bring your pup along with us! I work from home during the day. I’m never gone for more than a 5-6 hour time frame at a time and on top of that, we have a doggy door for the dogs to go in and out freely in our fenced yard. I have a fenced yard for the dogs to hang out in and a few acres beyond that (partially fenced) for them to run around and get their energy out in. I’m always watching the dogs when they are beyond the fully fenced yard. I will also make sure you are comfortable with your dog in this situation before doing so.

Kira has separation anxiety, and I was really worried about how she'd handle being away from me, but they were so understanding, supportive, and flexible. They even invited us for a meet-and-greet on short notice, which made me feel much more at ease. The place itself is amazing—spacious and full of outdoor areas where dogs can run and explore. What my dog needs most is a steady, compassionate presence, and that is exactly what they provided. Not long after I dropped my dog off, Michele reached out to let me know that my dog was content, getting along well with her dog, and exploring her new surroundings. That early check-in brought me such a sense of relief. Later, she sent me a photo of my dog resting peacefully in her garden while she gardened nearby, which spoke volumes about how safe and settled my dog felt. Michele was incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely present. She snuggled with my dog on the couch, included her in daily activities (like “helping” in the garden), and it was sweet that she seemed to enjoy my dog’s company. I have a backyard and I am home throughout the entire day. I care for a friend’s dog often, and I like to give the pup the option of indoor or outdoor so that they can walk in and out at their own convenience. I do exactly what I say. I believe all pets feel the most safe in their own environment so I prefer going to their home. My cat is also not friendly with others so that is a big no-no. I have experience dog sitting on the mainland I moved to Maui 3 years ago and I am missing having some furry friends! I currently work 4 days a week in Paia. If your dog is well behaved they may come to work with me! If not Friday-Monday I will be gone for 8hrs. I enjoy going for walks either in the morning or after work! Pets in my home are welcome anywhere in the house and are fed twice a day with a minimum one walk a day ideally two. (I don’t currently have any pets of my own in the home)

About: I have a husky mix Kea and we are super active! Daily walks and animal care is in my daily routine. I have been doing rover for a long time now. Apart from dogs, I worked/lived at a cat sanctuary in Haiku that had over 200+ cats as well as chickens and cows. My job consisted of feeding, giving medicine/attention, and cleaning after them everyday. I take care of my husky mix Kea everyday! I work from home m-f and have lots of free time. Playing with, exercising, feeding and even doing some training are all things I like to incorporate in my daily schedule.
