“Bridget and Tiger were amazing! It's so hard for me to normally find someone to watch my dogson Bullish. I am very over protective of him and he is my shadow puppy as well as very spoiled! Before the week stay with Bridget she suggested we have a puppy play date to see how Bullish would get along with their dog, I knew from the play date I had nothing to worry about. They were so nice to Bullish and understand of his and my needs. Throughout the whole stay they updated me daily as well as sent pictures of a very happy Bullish. It was very reassuring for me. He stayed with them 5 days and he obviously loved it, he didn't want to come home! They even bathed him and brushed him before I picked him up. They definitely took care of him as I would. Kule unexpectedly went into heat during her stay and I felt so bad but they took care of her and went out of their way to make her feel comfortable. They always sent pictures and videos of her on her walks and was very communicative during the whole 3.5 weeks. I will totally stay in touch with them and even meet up at the dog park for the pups to play. About: For my kindergarten career day I showed up as a vet. After that, I became the kid in the house that would constantly be "adopting" new animals. It goes without saying that I've always been an animal lover. This led me to study and graduate with a bachelors in animal science and veterinary studies. Throughout my bachelors I was a foster parent for my university's pre veterinary and pet rescue group. During this time I fostered dozens of pets (cats and dogs). After graduating I developed an entered in conservation and my career path shifted to the study of wildlife conservation. However I worked for 3 years as a veterinary technician while I continued to pursue my career in conservation. Two of these years were at a pet veterinary clinic and one year was as a wildlife rehabilitation of migratory birds. Also worked at Maui Humane Society as an Enrichment and Behavioral Technician. Right now I have beautiful 3 year old tabby cat who is not a queen but a "Khaleesi" and her little sister Arya. However I thought I'd share the love since they’re so spoiled. I know that with my academic and professional experience I'm more than prepared but as a pet parent myself and a veterinary technician I understand that no matter how safe they are, we still worry. That early check-in brought me such a sense of relief. I have a backyard and I am home throughout the entire day. I care for a friend’s dog often, and I like to give the pup the option of indoor or outdoor so that they can walk in and out at their own convenience. I am currently retired so I am regularly home and usually available every day. I typically stay at home throughout the day, so you can rely on me to keep your pet company and cared for! My house is completely fenced so they will not be able to get out. I currently don’t have any pets of my own. Apart from dogs, I worked/lived at a cat sanctuary in Haiku that had over 200+ cats as well as chickens and cows. About: From puppies to seniors, we've cared for and loved them all. Jack Russels, Chihuahuas and all the mixes. We at one time had 3 little ones in our lives cause we couldn't watch the one sweet chihuahua that belonged to our friend go back to the pound when he didn't quite fit in well with their kids. We took him home to find him a home and we sure did! 13 years of his little life wasn't enough time. Love fostering with Maui Humane when we can, hard to say goodbye but worth it to make their life just a little better for a bit. I work part time from home so I'm usually around to play or snuggle with your pup. We are mostly home bodies so even on the weekend your pup won't be lonely. We have a friendly (for a chihuahua lol) 4 year old Chihuahua that is always looking for playmates! We have an outside space where they can run that energy off too and live close to the beach! So if the paw parents approve we're happy to enjoy nightly sunsets or early morning beach walks while it's not too hot. During the day they can lounge or play in the house or choose to lay in the sun on our fenced front lanai. Special diets don't intimidate me. Ours is a picky eater so I understand the need to mix up the meals every once in a while.

I work part time (my shifts are midday to early evening, two or three days per week ), so I have lots of free time to walk/ drop in/ stay with your pet! My morning’s are wide open, as well as most afternoons/evenings. For petsitting clients, I can let you know my exact work schedule and adjust my shifts if needed. Your pet’s safety and your home’s security is my highest priority. I pride myself on leaving every space better than I found it; For petsitting clients I clean up after myself so you’ll always come home to an empty sink, clean sheets/towels, and a vacuumed floor!

Before the week stay with Bridget she suggested we have a puppy play date to see how Bullish would get along with their dog, I knew from the play date I had nothing to worry about. They were so nice to Bullish and understand of his and my needs. Throughout the whole stay they updated me daily as well as sent pictures of a very happy Bullish. It was very reassuring for me. He stayed with them 5 days and he obviously loved it, he didn't want to come home! They even bathed him and brushed him before I picked him up. They definitely took care of him as I would. We have one small dog of our own, a 10 year old Shiba Inu, who is very chill and gets along great with other dogs! Both my husband and I have had dogs our entire lives and have plenty of experience caring for them. My husband is known in our family as the “dog whisperer.” We have family on the mainland and travel back a couple of times a year, so we understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets while you’re away. Whether you need daily drop-in visits or boarding while you’re off island, your pets will be treated like part of our family and will be in loving hands.
