About: For my kindergarten career day I showed up as a vet. After that, I became the kid in the house that would constantly be "adopting" new animals. It goes without saying that I've always been an animal lover. This led me to study and graduate with a bachelors in animal science and veterinary studies. We have a fenced yard and a few (partially fenced) acres of land beyond that for the pups to play and fetch the ball (depending on your comfort level with that, of course). Delilah is a sweet 4 year old golden retriever who loves equally to play and chill. Bear is a 2 year old golden Aussie who *always* loves to play and love on other pups! We live 10 minutes from both Olinda forest and Makawao forest so we usually go for morning walks there 4-5 days week. We would love to bring your pup along with us! I work from home during the day. I’m never gone for more than a 5-6 hour time frame at a time and on top of that, we have a doggy door for the dogs to go in and out freely in our fenced yard. That early check-in brought me such a sense of relief. Later, she sent me a photo of my dog resting peacefully in her garden while she gardened nearby, which spoke volumes about how safe and settled my dog felt. She snuggled with my dog on the couch, included her in daily activities (like “helping” in the garden), and it was sweet that she seemed to enjoy my dog’s company. About: As a dog owner myself, I know it's important to have a reliable sitter/walker who will watch out for your pet like their own. I have volunteered at animal shelters for 15 years, cared for the pets of friends and neighbors, and have done scent work with dogs. I can do drop-in visits weekday evenings and visits/walks/runs 7:30 am - 9:00 pm on weekends, including long holiday weekends. Last minute requests are okay, life happens! If you're a first responder and need pet care so you can do your job, let me know - I'd like to offer you a 10% discount. I work full time weekdays in a conservation job, so I can care for your pet after work (drop in visits) and on weekends (walks/runs and drop-in visits). I will consider last-minute requests, just ask. I can care for pets in their home. I learn their routine, communicate with their family, and ensure they are safe and happy. If possible, I would like to meet your pet before caring for them so they are familiar with me and there are no surprises.

I have experience dog sitting on the mainland I moved to Maui 3 years ago and I am missing having some furry friends! I currently work 4 days a week in Paia. Apart from dogs, I worked/lived at a cat sanctuary in Haiku that had over 200+ cats as well as chickens and cows. My job consisted of feeding, giving medicine/attention, and cleaning after them everyday. I take care of my husky mix Kea everyday! I work from home m-f and have lots of free time.
