About: As a cattle dog owner, I'd like to think I have a special set of skills for crazy babies. I have always had rescues and fosters in my home. I have been fortunate to work with foster pets from the Caribbean and Mexico as well, each of these often came with health issues. I have experience with pregnant dogs and cats as well! If you are interested in having your pet stay over, know I have two very friendly dogs. They have both experienced having guests and foster pets in the house as well. Tolerant and obedient. I have multiple rooms and baby gates for separation and quiet time. In general, I am a very active and outdoorsy person! So i am happy to take the pets out to the trails or the lake! I live on 10 quiet acres with a fenced yard. There is ample space to play outside or be kept safe and warm inside. I am fortunate to work from home. I have the ability to provide care all day and night for your pet! I walk each morning and evening and have the option to take your pet out for a walk or a play on the property in both fenced and unfenced areas. I have an older dog who is very arthritic so I am used to caring for the elderly animals as well. Pets in my home have their own room if needed. I have plenty of space for crates. I have a large gated deck and live on 10 acres on a quiet road. My own pets walk daily with me along my road which works well for easy elder dog walks as it is shady even in the summer. It also can provide great training ground as there is little traffic. For the high energy babies, we can play fetch or take to the trails nearby. I have always had rescue pitties so I am comfortable with big cuddly babies. I adopted a cattle dog pup who had clinical anxiety which has taught me how to care for highly intelligent, high energy dogs as well. Treats, love, and confidence makes for a happy dog!

About: I love being with older and disabled animals. I have my experience from working in Animal Shelters for about 2 years, doggie daycares, pet crematories and also petsitting for different companies and myself over 20 yrs. I am a full time traveling pet/housesitter with my 14 yr old pup. I have owned many animals throughout my life and have experience with meds, subQ fluids, end of life, aggressive dogs/cats and finicky pets. I'll treat your babies as if they were mine! I can also share many reviews from other platforms upon request. I am always available to help you out with your fur babies anytime! I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule. About: Since 2023, my paid experience has included overnight and daytime home stays, for up to 24 hours at a time or weekly. Imagine a Mary Poppins for your beloved pets who provides the social and emotional support to buffer you during long getaways. Two walks daily, if needed, by forest or urban trail. I am here to ensure the proper amount of exercise. I am here to guide the fun, support the snuggles, and provide proper nutrition. Multiple types of animals welcome. I have passed numerous background checks as an elementary school substitute teacher. So I have full availability overnight, on weekends, and for extended periods between Nevada County and Placer County. I usually stay a week or more with fur babies. You can relax knowing I am keeping the utmost care and safety of your animals and home. References on request. I want to clarify during our visit if you need care at the 2-hour, 4-hour, or 6-hour interval beyond the overnight stay of 7 pm to 7 am. Communication is key! I will send daily pictures or updates. For best prevention, talking about the details with the owner and ground rules produces the best results. Topics will include where the pet feels most comfortable such a calm spaces or crating procedures. I make sure to go over emergency contacts and preferred clinics. Also, I keep a clean environment that ensures the safety of pets for food handling.

About: Some of my earliest memories are of taking care of Queensland Heeler puppies in my outdoor playhouse. My parents were breeders & ever since then I’ve had a very special connection to dogs! I have taken care of many different types of furry friends from puppies to seniors, from chihuahuas to Belgian Malinois. I have also fostered rescues in my home from time to time. About: Been a proud owner of goats, cats, chickens, reptiles and dogs. I've had experience in the veterinary field, worked with and cared for livestock and house pets. I am currently working full time as a CNA, my schedule is kinda wacky. I work PM shifts from 2:30pm-10:30pm, on a four on and two off rotation. In my own home I have reptiles and three cats and one older dog around. If your pet is staying with me or I’m keeping them company in your own home, I always am engaging with the pet. Any opportunity to play and have some fun, we’re doing it! If they’re more laid back and want to snooze next to me, I will relax with them.

About: We are a family full of love for pets! My Husband has volunteered at Sammies Friends walking dogs, and at home we have three indoor-outdoor cats, and a Chihuahua named Bella who’s 10 (my Daughter’s). We had to put down our 14-year-old chocolate lab named Yotis a few years ago, and was my Husband’s best friend! My Son’s 12 year old German Shepard Zani passed a couple years ago as well, and she was the best dog addition to this family. The oldest cat I have had was a tabby named Chica, and got her at 8 weeks old when I was 16, and she was 15 when she passed!!! Our pets are our fur family and we love them all!!! Kids are all grown up now, and my Husband is gone a lot as a Fire Captain, so I am more than willing and available to housesit dogs and/or cats in your home. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and pets. My Husband works 3 days on, 4 days off and likes to help with your pets as well. He is a Dog Whisperer, and I am the Cat Lady! We love taking nature walks, and have both been on Rover since before COVID in 2019. I am available at any time due to my kids being older now, amd we don’t currently have a dog of our own. I love getting out of the house and exploring new neighborhoods and areas especially during Spring and summer. We have resided in Nevada County for decades!
