About: I’ve grown up with dogs and now have an 8-year-old Golden Retriever. He’s getting a little older but we still enjoy walks around the neighborhood and running around the yard. We like having dog guests to hang out with. I’ve watched dogs for friends and family over the years and enjoy having them around the house. I only host one dog at a time (or multiple dogs from the same family). I can provide daycare and overnight stays in my home. Can be flexible with start and end times and can include pick-up or drop-off, if near by. Your dog’s safety and comfort are the priority here. I only take one dog at a time (or multiple from the same family) to ensure a relaxed environment for the dogs and for me. I work from home, so the dogs are rarely left alone, and they’ll have regular access to a fenced yard, walks, and time to relax inside. I try to keep things low-stress and stick to your dog’s normal routine as much as possible, whether that’s feeding schedules, medications, crate preferences, or exercise needs. My dog is friendly, and comfortable around other dogs, but I always prefer slow introductions to make sure we'll be a good match. About: I’ve always had a dog or cat in my home! Growing up we always had a Golden Retriever :) My most recent dogs were two senior Chihuahua sisters I adopted and one Olde English Bulldog. They have all crossed the rainbow bridge and though I’m not ready to get another pet, I miss having them in my life. One of my seniors had diabetes so I’m trained at administering insulin as well. I’m a stay at home mom of two little boys I share with their dad, though when I have dogs stay with me they stay with their father. For boarding, I live in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of other dogs and great sidewalks for strolls or power walks if needed. I enjoy going for daily long walks myself would love the company. For walks at your home, I never skimp on time outside or if weather doesn’t permit, extra fun and love inside.

After losing my last dog at 17, I would love to provide care, love and walks for yours. I work from home and set my own appointments outside of the home so I can determine precisely when I'll be home. Although I don't have a fenced yard we have a great neighborhood for walks. Dogs should be able to free roam as I don't currently have a crate; or you can provide a crate. Please bring any special toys, bed, etc. that will help your dog acclimate!
