“I couldn't recommend Jen more! I knew from previous experience working with her that she was great with animals and there was no one better to trust my animals with. I have an anti-social husky who most people want to pet and interact with right away but Jen was so good about listening to me about her behaviors and respecting her space. She was able to read her body language well to know when she did and did not want to interact and was just understanding of her needs. I trust very few people with my pets and Jen is one of them!”

“Amy was amazing! She took incredible care of my 4 little ones, including my special needs dog, while I traveled for a long, stressful weekend. She gave regular updates and clearly cared for my pets like her own. I couldn’t be happier!”

“Zana is knowledgeable and experienced. It was such a relief to be able to enjoy our vacation, knowing that our pets were comfortable, happy, and cared for. She is an excellent communicator, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Zana!”

About: I’ve owned and cared for dogs, cats, and everything in-between for as long as I can remember. From pit-bulls to terriers, handicapped chickens to one eyed kittens and animals with at least 8 legs, i’ve seen it all. Apart from caring for my own dogs, cats, and other pets over the years, I did freelance petsitting and dog walking in and around my neighborhood for around seven years, ranging from dog walks while the owner was at work, to late night cat feedings and prescription medication administration, to trying to give a rabbit a bath. I have a high level of experience caring for both puppies/kittens and elderly dogs and cats, having worked to foster puppies and kittens with my local ASPCA for nearly a decade as well as helped raise and train one of my family dogs, and care for my elderly, disabled dog in her later years. I also have background training with the ASPCA regarding animal safety (specifically reactive or defensive dogs) and basic dog and cat body language, crucial aspects of keeping everyone involved healthy and happy! I’m currently a college student home for the summer- my schedule is very open and very flexible, depending on the individual needs of the animal. I can match whatever level of energy your pet needs within the home- whether it be constant cuddles and attention, hours of playtime, or just an omniscient hand filling the food bowl and grabbing the leash! I’m comfortable administering oral or topical medications, able to control and crate dogs if the need arises, and (i’d like to think) i’ve learned some pretty good strategies to stop unwanted barking late at night over the years. I value the mental and physical comfort of the animal i’m caring for first and foremost, whether that means hands on attention or a more quiet, calm approach to time spent with your pet. I’m willing to care for and spend time with shy or reactive dogs as long as they’re within my size range. Having owned both a very senile, timid dog and a very reactive, defensive dog, it’s important to me that they receive the amount of care and attention in the home they deserve :)

“Jackie did a fabulous job with our boys this past weekend. They quickly warmed up to her and were quickly cuddling up with her on the couch. We appreciated the text updates and pictures - they really put us at ease using a dog sitter for the 1st time. The house was exactly how we left it - you couldn't tell someone had stayed there for 4 days. Jackie made it a stress free experience and we will definitely be using her again.”

“Garrett was absolutely amazing! There is nothing better then having my furry babies at home and being so well taken care of! It has taken me a long time to replace my past dog sitter, but I have finally found someone just as picky as me! Garrett can put you in touch with me if you want more information!”

“Danielle was awesome caring for our high energy border collie, Charlie. She spoiled him the whole week with walks, dog park visits, and one-on-one play time. Danielle sent daily updates and photographs. Charlie did well with her dog, Brodie. Plans are in the works for her to with Charlie again!”

“Amanda was so incredible! She was responsive and took the best care of our pups! Amanda was kind and helped take care of the house while we were away by bringing in the mail without asking and also taking the time to ensure things were left better than she found it. THANK YOU, Amanda! It is such a joy to work with you and I cannot recommend her enough! I 100% will book with Amanda again! (:”

“Pat was great! She stayed with Dolores over a weekend in our house. Pat kept us updated and sent pictures regularly. We would be happy to work with her in the future!”

“Such a caring and kind dog sitter! I’ve enjoyed her pictures and updates while taking care of my pups! She has been very helpful in my situations where I needed someone to look after my dogs! 10 out of 10 will book again!”

“We had another great, carefree petsit with Peter. This was our third and, this time, he stayed with just our incredibly needy cat because we took the dog to Tahoe. Peter sent pictures and updates while we were gone, our cat had a lap to sit on, and we enjoyed a relaxing weekend away. ”

“Leslie was such a fabulous find via Rover. We reached out with a last minute request and Leslie went above and beyond to accommodate our last minute schedule request AND to provide for our kitties. One of our kitties is very sensitive, has a difficult time warming up to new comers, and is notoriously difficult while taking her pill. Leslie followed instructions to the “T” and was committed to the care of our kitties. Leslie was wonderful and we will certainly be booking with her again in future and couldn’t give her a better review or higher recommendation!!”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs and cats before. I also have plenty experience taking care of bigger animals as I used to be a working student at the barn I boarded my horses at from when I was 10-15. I’ve been trusted by many friends and family to take care of their furry friends including but not limited to horses, bunnies, fish, dogs, and cats. I have experience with grooming dogs as well due to having a golden doodle of my own. If you have any more questions feel free to ask! I currently work a Part-time job that schedules me 2-3 times a week so I have a lot of availability to make house visits or spend the day as much as you would need me to! I also love to go on walks and take hikes so if I am looking after an Active dog it is no problem! If your dog likes to play with other dogs I have a fenced in yard and two other dogs of mine who are very friendly. I am very neat and organized so the chance of your animal eating something or getting into something they’re not supposed to is very slim.

“Maddie was great! She communicated and sent pics. Our pupper suffers from separation anxiety and she took very good care of him! He’s a high energy dog and she kept him happy ?. Thanks, Maddie!!”

She’s reliable, attentive, and goes above and beyond to make sure my dog feels safe, happy, and entertained. The only downside? I’m beginning to think my dog likes Alicia more than he likes me!
