I’m happy to spend my free time playing, walking, and spending time with your pet! While at work crates, gates, or free roam can be used depending on your pets needs and comfort. Pets will be monitored through pet cams during working hours. While in my home pets can have free roam or access to a crate depending on their needs and comfort. For walks I utilize harnesses and if needed can add a back up slip lead if owner feels more comfortable to ensure safety. I am a retired nurse practitioner and home most hours of each day. We live in a dog walking community and close to parks ideal for long walks. Loch Raven Reservoir is close to our home with many great trails. I have a fenced yard with a pool. I would not leave any dog alone in the yard, our neighborhood is great for walking. I will only take pets friendly to children.

About: With 15 years of pet ownership, I pride myself on being patient, reliable, and communicative. I'm a pet owner too, so I know how important it is to stick to your pet's routine and send plenty of updates so you can relax. As a graduate student, I have a very flexible schedule. My campus is only a 10-minute drive away, which means I can easily come home to check on your pet every 2-4 hours, or as often as needed. My neighborhood has plenty of green spaces and safe areas, perfect for long walks and playtime. My home features a secure, fenced-in backyard with plenty of grass, giving your pet a safe space to play and take comfortable potty breaks. I have a friendly, 5-year-old Siberian Husky who loves making new friends. For everyone's safety, he is neutered and kept completely up-to-date on all vaccinations and routine care. I also have an XL dog crate available for your dog's use if that is part of their normal routine.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animal since I was a baby! Growing up, I was always asked if I lived on a farm because of all the pets we had (I did not, but it felt like one). This includes large and small dogs, cats, goats, bunnies, guinea pigs, ducks, guinea hens, snakes, a turtle, and fish. Being surrounded by all these animals while growing up has made caring for animals come naturally to me. Currently, I do not have any pets where I live, but I still consider my two cats and a large yellow English lab as my pets! Although I am new to Rover, I have years of experience of pet sitting various types of animals of all ages. About: I've had cats since I was a child and love dogs. I've never owned a dog, but I love to spend time with them and give them the attention they need. I am experienced in giving cats liquid medication and pills. I can schedule walks, and check-ins usually anytime in the morning and then after 4 pm in the afternoon on weekdays and usually whenever on weekends. I love walking and with a dog, it's even better. I also love to meet new kitties and can handle medication administration if needed as well. Having cats most of my life has provided me with much joy and respect for animals.
