“Amy is truly a dog whisperer! My very barky and unsure husky mix warmed up to her within a few minutes and has been great for all the visits. Our other dog, a little beagle, has been a cuddle machine with her. I would recommend Amy with 10 stars if I could. We are definitely having her back!”

“Michelle was so great! She was easy to communicate with, and was very contentious. She checked in when she had a few potential health concerns about my cat and I could tell that my sweet kitty was very well taken care of while I was gone. Would definitely rebook and recommend to others!”

“Tanya came in to the rescue at the last minute when our usual sitter had an emergency and had to cancel. Tanya responded very quickly. She sent us cute pictures throughout our time away and our dogs seemed to really enjoy her. I definitely would recommend booking with Tanya.”

“Julie was awesome!!! She was very flexible with are crazy schedule and she took great care of our two babies. I’m sad she’s moving out of state, but if she continues to do Rover in her new home, you’ll be very lucky!! My loss is your gain.”

“Pico had grest visits with Annalise! He played with toys and had lots of snuggles ! I recommend Annalise to anyone looking for a person to give so lots of love and care to their pet!”

“Emily is always so great! My normally antisocial kitties love her, and she leaves my apartment cleaner than it was when I left. The kitties and I are so grateful for her!”

“Anaiah saved the day. Literally. I was experiencing some issues after a major surgery and the Rover person I had scheduled didn't show up so I was desperate. Anaiah was here in twenty minutes to take them out and then came back a little later to take them for a walk. I'm sooooo impressed!”

About: Until recently, I had a 55lb Beagle-Bully mix of my own and used Rover for her when needed (grateful for some wonderful sitters who were very accommodating to her idiosyncrasies). I grew up with dogs, horses and cats. My mother is a bit of a "whisperer" and taught me how to "understand what's in their head", anticipate reactions, understand context of behavior and gain trust (comes in handy for both people and pets!). I have experience with separation anxiety, dominant behaviors and with administering medication. I love the words, "I aspire to be the person my dog thinks I am." We should all be so lucky as to have the love of a dog. I am also very cognizant that "we are their whole world" when a dog lives in the city (I grew up in a rural area where dogs spend more time outside roaming). Let me know if there are any behaviors I should be watching for and mitigating, as well as any commands, etc that your pooch is used to. I work a "typical" 8-5 work week with flexibility to be home for part of the week or part of the day, especially with a little notice to adjust meetings/schedules. I would also love to check in, brush, snuggle, play with and/or walk your fur baby evenings and weekends. Always a delight to meet a new personality! I work a full time weekday job with flexibility to be home part of the week or part of the day. I can adapt quite a bit to accommodate a stay when I have a little notice. If I go into work, it's usually late morning or midday (aka half day). If boarding, pets are welcome on furniture and in the bed at my home. I have a couple squeaker toys, a little sleeping pad on the floor if needed, doggie bags, and some water/food dishes. I don't have a yard but live near the lake with lots of great walking /running for dogs that desire the activity (I walk several miles/week). If needed, I have personal experience with the patience and empathy needed with a reactive/anxious dog so just let me know what you know and I can carry on while you away, adapting as needed.

“Samantha was easy to work with and kept me updated via the app so that I could see that my naughty kitties hadn't created any major trouble while we were out of town. She was responsive and friendly and I hope can come take care of our furballs again soon!”

“Andrea is so sweet! She did a great job watching my kitties and I will definitely be booking with her again! My 2 boys seemed very happy and well cared for when I returned from my trip.”

“Andrew is our go-to sitter! He is consistent, communicates well, and always prioritizes hanging out with our cat. Highly recommend, and will continue to use him!”

“Shykala watched my cat and she took so much thought in her care. She took the time to spend time with my cat so that she wasn’t bored while I was away. She sent a bunch of photos so I knew my pet was well taken care of. I will definitely be booking her again to watch my pet”

“Autumn was awesome! She was sure to ask lots of questions ahead of time so I was sure my kitties would be well taken care of. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I had two dogs growing up and I miss being around them! I go on walks almost every day. Would love to do that with your dog :) I am mostly available Tuesday- Saturday before 10 am and after 5pm. Sundays and Mondays are more flexible. Please reach out with any questions, I’m happy to help. I have two cats but I am really an animal person. My current living situation doesn’t allow me to have dogs but I would love to be able to spend time with yours.

“While on vacation, I knew that my cats were provided care. Juliana was quick to respond to any question that I had and she made sure each drop in was special for the kitties.”

“Sarah took great care of my cat! My cat really enjoyed the visits from Sarah and felt very comfortable with her. Sarah had good communication and asked any questions that were needed.”

About: I've grown up with labs my whole life, training themI’ve been around dogs, especially Labs, pretty much my whole life—training and taking care of them is second nature to me. Because of that, I’ve become the go-to pet sitter for friends and family. I have a knack for connecting with animals, so they always seem to feel right at home with me. I currently only have a cat, which I feed every 12ish hours, and clean her box every other day. Enrichment toys and activities are fun for her too, but she's a cat, she calls the shots! I am dedicated to creating a comfortable and safe environment for any pet, and make sure to include activities and toys to make sure your pup has the time of their life while you're away.

About: I’ve watched family and friends dogs for years. I enjoy being the “go-to” person to watch their pets . Love caring for and playing with dogs, talking them on walks, and playing! I have some flexibility in my schedule during the weekdays . However, I can always do afternoons walks and care and availability full time on weekends. For longer I usually watch folks dogs in their home - if that’s the preference. If your puppy needs to be just walked and fed for just the day that’s also grand!

Tracey B.
“Tracey was raised in a family of animal lovers and she goes to great lengths to accommodate the needs of her own rescued dog, Pucca. Tracey learned the responsibility of caring for a variety of animals as a young child and she will forever be a kind and caring advocate for animals. Tracey is from a family that could not function without the love of animals in our lives. Tracey's first rescued dog was when Tracey was about 8. There was a stray dog that needed help but would not approach when I tried to help. Tracey later asked if she could bring the dog home and I advised her, "I don't think we can get him to come in the pickup". Tracey informed me, "I already have him in the pickup". Needles to say "Bud" became Tracey's dog and he grew into a beautiful white German Shepard with a little love and care. So yes, I think your dogs will be in good hands with Tracey looking after them. Trevor M.
“Trevor is a very kind and responsible pet and house sitter. We always feel confident that not only will our kitty be well taken care of, but that our home is also respected and well maintained. It can be a bit intimidating to leave a stranger tend to your home and not have some concerns, but I can assure you that Trevor will do a great job keeping everything in tip top shape. He has assisted us many times and has become like another member of our family. I would highly recommend him for all of your home and pet sitting requirements! Five Stars :)”

Biiftuu A.
“Biiftuu has my highest recommendation to care for your pup! She has a breadth of experience dog sitting, and takes extreme care when meeting the needs of each and every dog she 'sits. She prioritizes time spent with them, asks about and meets (or exceeds!) what makes them comfortable, and is responsive and receptive to pet parents in terms of meeting your preferences and needs when it comes to communication and your pup's care. She's a dog lover who prioritizes a good experience for your dog. I give her my highest recommendation!”
