“Jason has been great with Zeus. He's been taking him out for a daily walk and Zeus thoroughly enjoys it! Zeus is very energetic and strong but Jason handled him well and without any problems.”

About: I have always been the go-to pet sitter/dog walker in my neighborhood growing up. I love animals of all shapes & sizes! I would assist with post surgery care (medication and light wound dressing) along with any day to day tasks such as feeding/walking/grooming/house sitting. I love surrounding myself with animals of all kinds... at home I have two poodles, two cats, a bird, a turtle, and a bunch of fishies! I create my own schedule for work so can be very flexible. I primarily spend my time volunteering with hospice programs and am used to traveling around the area to provide services. I can keep my check-ins short with a simple walk around the block to use the bathroom and a quick feed, or I can dedicate more time to playing/social interaction, depending on each pet's needs or preferences. Per request, I stick to the designated areas and will notify you prior to arriving and after finishing the tasks. I can also provide a summary of the visit (if they ate all the food, playtime, any potty accidents, etc.)

About: Pets are family and animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in pet care is from having my own pets as well as caring for family and friends pets. I'm currently employed by Trots Dogs Walking, which has added to my knowledge and experience. I provide safe, nurturing care for all animals. I’m friendly and trustworthy putting pets and their families at ease with reliable, loving care. I'm currently working part time as a dog walker for Trots Dogs, so I have plenty of down time throughout the week to pet sit and love your furries. I follow the specific instructions and guidelines, ensuring all pets are safe, well-fed, exercised, loved, and comfortable. I make sure each and every family pet member is taken care of just like you would.

About: My name is Autumn. I am a dog and cat owner owner myself and a grad student. I’m that girl who wants to meet every dog she sees! Whether your pup needs a good cuddle or a 5 mile run, I’m there. You can always expect her or him to have a full belly, smile on their face, and all the energy fully used as they lay on the couch. Then I’ll proceed to take a quick photo shoot to let you know how your star is doing. In all seriousness though, I do hold their health at the highest priority and treat them just as I would my own pup! Because let’s be honest and say that they aren’t just dogs. They are our babies and they deserve the best! I’m currently working part time and attending school. I’m up early most days and have opening through the day to stop in and provide care. When in a clients home I try to treat the pet and the space as if it is my own. I stick to common areas or areas needed for the care of the pet. I do my best to leave it cleaner than when I arrived and I always ensure the space is safe before leaving.

I like to keep the dogs at the house and just have a daily routine as they do at own home. I tried not to take them to places unless is required. About: At 6 feet tall, I’ve got the strength to handle even the rowdiest pups, but my real superpower is connection + gentleness. I’ve been loving and living with dogs and cats since I was a kid, and I treat every pet like family. Whether it’s an energizing walk or a calm cuddle session, your fur baby is in safe, loving hands. I’m currently working part-time, which means I’m typically available during mornings and afternoons — perfect for regular walks, playtime, or just keeping your pet company while you’re away. I genuinely love walks, animals, sunshine, and being out in nature, and I bring that positive, grounded energy into every visit. I care for every pet like I do my own three sweet kitties — with love, attention, and a focus on their comfort and safety. In each client’s home, I create a calm, clean, and caring environment where pets feel secure and happy.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life since elementary school having a couple of different breeds in my home from maltipoos to huskies. I've grown to become patient and dedicated to learning how to handle all different kinds of energy levels and tempermants. I've taught my puppies basic obedience training, understand puppy needs from house training to endless playtime, providing gentle and patient care especially for older dogs to make sure they're comfortable and safe. My experience comes from years of caring for dogs belonging to neighbors, friends, and family. I'm currently waiting for my work start date in August and am available to walk everyday early morning to night time and during work hours too! Your furry friend's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I want to make sure I create a secure and positive environment for them. I will make sure to take the time to get acquainted and warm up with your dog and build a bond of trust. I will offer small treats to make sure they're comfortable with me. I'll make sure to walk them in a nice, peaceful and calm route so they aren't overstimulated. I'll make sure the concrete isn't too hot for their delicate paws before stepping out. I'll give them lots of sniffing opportunities, make sure they aren't getting close to hazardous objects or waste on our walk. Afterwards, I'll wipe their paws and make sure their body is clear of any random objects that might've caught onto their coat/inside their entryways. I want to make sure I keep a stress-free, enriching and overall safe walking experience for your pet so they're happy and tired when they come back home! :)

I have an 11-year-old dog (mixed-breed, medium size) who can accompany your dog if you'd like them to get interaction. Comfortable walking up to 3 dogs at a time, can feed, play fetch, and crate your dog if required to help them exercise and stay on track with their usual schedule.

About: I grew up with all different types of animals in the house. We had puppies all the way through senior dogs in my home and my mom had her own pet care business that I often helped her with. I’m currently working part time so my schedule is quite open! I care for my pets every day and would love to add yours to my routine. I live in a very cat-friendly home outfitted with the finest luxuries for my felines (not one but TWO cat trees). I also have a puppy gate in my backyard.

“Nicolas had a great walk with Teddy. He was timely, courteous and even provided positive reinforcement training with treats and "Yes!" commands around triggers. Thank you Nicolas!”

About: I know how difficult it can be to find quality care for your best friend while you’re away, so I became a pet sitter to help owners make sure their pup gets the love and affection they need while you’re away! I’ve been a lifelong dog lover, so getting to work with dogs really is a dream come true for me. I love all of their unique personalities and getting familiarized with all of the different breeds! To me, there’s just nothing better than seeing the smile on a dog’s face when they know that they’re loved and well taken care of. I have over 12 years of professional experience with dogs as a walker, sitter, and pet stylist. I volunteered for two years at the Hayward Animal Shelter as a “dog pet pal” and loved every minute of it. It was a great opportunity to learn some of the ins and outs of proper animal care, and I got to spend lots of times with dogs that really needed it. I’ve been a dog owner since I was 8 years old and can’t imagine my life without them! I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet when taking on a new client. Meets are always a great opportunity for us to get acquainted with one another, make sure that we’re all a good fit, and chat face-to-face about some of the specifics of the stay! Plus, I always like to introduce myself to your pup and make new friends with them before starting the stay, as I feel it really helps everything go by much smoother. I will always ask lots of questions about you and your pup at the meet in order to find out just what makes your dog tick and see what I should be principally aware of as well. A high quality stay is based around excellent communication. After all, no one knows your dog better than you do! I like to get as much information as possible before the stay begins so I can start tailoring our time together to fit your pup’s needs. I know that dogs are creatures of habit, so I’ll make sure to follow their schedules and habits to a “T” to make sure that they feel happy and comfortable with me. I’ll also be very forthright with my communication to you so you can be kept up to date on all of the details, like how your pup is getting along and what we’ve done throughout the day. That also includes lots of cute pictures, too! I have a flexible schedule and can work with your needs. I am a creative director and author so I can work from home most of the time. Depends on the clients rules and needs. Most of my pet parents have their own in home list of how they want their pet cared for and that is what I follow. I also always leave the home clean and bedding clean. Please note if your pet has extreme anxiety, please let me know before the meet and greet because there may be additional fees depending on the attentive care they need.

About: I have had two pet dogs one that I cared for while it was elderly and needed special attention and one who has many health issues and requires medication twice a day so I have had lots of experience caring for different dogs, as well as ones with lots of energy and need to be walked and played with throughout the day. I’m currently between jobs so I have lots of time to spend with our furry friends! Tons of time for play time and cuddle time! I will carefully follow instructions for care and ensure your pet is fed and cared for in the ways they need to be as well as stay attentive as a playmate and make sure they are well exercised and happy when I’m done

“Jason has been great with Zeus. He's been taking him out for a daily walk and Zeus thoroughly enjoys it! Zeus is very energetic and strong but Jason handled him well and without any problems.”

Courtney Y.
“Courtney is the best pet caregiver I’ve ever met. Not only is she as caring and attentive as you can find in a person, she is extremely knowledgable and resourceful in making them as happy and healthy as possible. She is able to read their mood and behaviors very well, and uses that to know how to best care for them in any situation. She takes great pride in giving them as good a day and life as possible. I have no doubt that she is able to handle any situation or pet she finds herself with to the best of her ability. Anyone would be lucky to find and hire her.”

Melina A.
“Melina has a special connection with animals. They are drawn to her. And she loves them as her own! Add that to the fact that she’s an amazing person in general. Perfect combo!!! She will become your pets best friend!”

Autumn P.
“I have known Autumn for about ten years now and through those years she has cared for my dogs numerous times. She was reliable, responsible and trust worthy. There was not a time I felt my dogs were not safe, she is very outgoing and has a great personality over all. My dogs still get excited every time she comes over!”

Jeimy V.
“Jeimy Valega is a true dog lover and would be 100% devoted to your dog or puppy during it's stay with her. She is totally responsible and will give your pet all the attention in the world. I cannot think of a better and safer place for your beloved pet than with Jeimy for a few days.”

“Shay was on time. Takumi had no complaints. It was a last minute need and Shay came through with Flying Colors. I will definitely use him in the future.”

Shawn C.

“As always Shawn does an amazing dog of caring for my pup.”

Camryne M.
“Hello, I know Camryn’s will be an amazing pet caregiver as she is a pet alover herself. Having 3 cats of her own. All her cats are spoiled and buys them all the toys they need as well as treats ! She has also pet sat for me, my 2 dogs and my cat. She has a great love for pets and will treat your pets as her own! Thank you, Blanca Pulido”

Eugene C.
“Eugene is a great walker! Coco comes back tired which is great for me since she’s a very energetic corgi! :)) He’s also a very detail oriented and caring person, so I trust him with taking care any of my doggos :)”

Michael T.
“Mike has been watching my dog for over 2 years. I think he loves animals more than people. The worst thing you can say about Mike is that he likes the San Francisco Giants. From the moment my dog, Jerry, met Mike, he loved him immediately. Jerry was a pound pit who was found in a cardboard box. He has been sceptical with most people (not aggressive), but has always found Mike to be a person of safety. His soft and nice demeanor makes people, and animals, feel at ease. When Mike watches Jerry, I do not ever question the well-being of my dog. I only question that my dog will be less enthusiastic that he has to return to his actual owner. Mike is a five star person.”

Alena M.
“I am an RN and a former pet sitter and owner of a pet sitting business in northern Illinois. Alena is my daughter and was about 10 years old when I retired from nursing and began my pet sitting business. She frequently went with me as I cared for my clients and consequently knows very well what is required of a pet sitter/dog walker. She loves animals and understands their needs and how to play with them and make them feel loved. She understands the importance of communicating with the pet owner and of following owner instructions as requested. She understands the importance of safety for the pets in her care, especially if out walking in areas where other pets are present, as well as carefully securing the pets in her care when completing her visit. She is competent, honest, gentle and loving. She would be a GREAT pet sitter/dog walker and, in general, a GREAT employee!”

Hannah G.
“Hannah is a caring, responsible animal lover you can trust. She’s looked after our dog Buster and her cats Felicity and Suki for many years, always with patience and love. She’s also volunteered several times at the LB animal shelter and has a natural connection with animals. Any pet would be in great hands with her!”

Nicolas G.

“Nicolas had a great walk with Teddy. He was timely, courteous and even provided positive reinforcement training with treats and "Yes!" commands around triggers. Thank you Nicolas!”

Lizzet E.
“I think Lizzet would be the perfect caregiver to work for Rover because her love for animals is incredible and she has been working with them for quite some time at an animal hospital. Lizzet shows a lot of dedication by making sure all of the animals at the hospital are being cared for, she makes sure all of the pets have their medications or treatments before going home, and she understands the responsibilities a dog caregiver has in order to make pets and their owners happy. She’s a mother of two wonderful children and she treats all of the animals like if they were her own children. Lizzet has everything or a little more qualities that Rover is looking for and that is why I think she’s perfect.”

Andrew M.
“Andrew has gone above and beyond mile while caring for my baby. He ensures that Miles is walked and fed on schedule. He even bath and brushed my husky without being asked to do so. I will continue trusting Andrew with Miles and recommend him to everyone. He is trustworthy.”

Sarita W.

“What can I say! Sarita came through for me last minute and I know how inconvenient that can be. She was quick getting back to me and she was really nice. Louie (my 8 year old dog) responded really well to her and I could tell the last minute change up wouldn’t be an issue for him. Definitely made my time away from home less stressful knowing I had someone taking care of things. Thank you, Sarita!!”

Megan L.

“Thank you Megan”
