About: My family has always had pets so I'm comfortable with everything from cats and dogs to turtles and chickens. Young, old, wild, lazy, medicated, need to be medicated, I've dealt with it all. I've babysat and petsat for a variety of people off the books over the years and haven't had any complaints or issues. I like to send update photos to pet parents since I know leaving the babies with strangers can be a stressful experience. I work at the Lab Monday - Friday, 7-4ish. Otherwise, I'm open for business. Adjustments to my 4 o'clock time can be made with advanced warning. I can drop in or hang out as needed. Let me know. Santa Fe residents: I work at the Lab Monday - Friday, 7-4ish. That is a long stretch when including commute. If your pet needs to be let out for potty breaks or medication during weekdays, please keep this in mind. Like I said I can make adjustments with enough warning. I leave my availability as it is because I occasionally have a client in Los Alamos/White Rock that I can accommodate easier. Rover simply doesn't allow that kind of distinction on the basic settings so I try to be up front here. I can't board unfortunately but I can hang out on your home turf. This tends to be most comfortable for your pet anyway. I can drop in or stay the night, both are fine with me.

“Jackie was great! Kitties seem to love having her come and play with and feed them, and she was very flexible with my changing work trip schedule.”

About: What can I say, I love dogs!!! Iv'e been around dogs my whole life, beginning with my Husky that loved chaperoning me around our backyard when I was a baby. I'm very grateful to have the experience with a dog since youth! I was raised around other animals too, bunnies, mice, and hamsters. Lol but I bond especially well with dogs. I hope to make new memories with your pet if you choose me! I am flexible and willing to work around your dogs schedule and my own. We can work something out to meet both our needs of course. I have plenty of time to care for your pet! I can be available overnights if needed if you are going away on a trip.

“Jessica was remarkable! She showed up as scheduled and diligently took my old dog for a slow walk down the block. Her adorable daughter was a great addition!”

About: Enthusiastic and experienced animal care taker with stellar references. Fear free certified veterinary nurse in Santa Fe NM. Looking forward to assisting you and the needs of your pet! My passion for pet care comes from 10 years as a veterinary technician. Currently, working as a trainer for Assistance Dog of The west. In Santa Fe. I currently do not have room to pet sit in my home. However, I am more than willing to sleepover or provide visit multiple times daily if necessary.

“Sophia fed our two cats and cleaned the box every day for two weeks. Her arrival times varied greatly and we noticed that for several days she arrived quite late in the afternoon. We had requested she arrive by 8:30 or 9:00. However, we knew that she had moved into town and taken a job so it was not convenient for her to make the trip to Eldorado. She watered our gardens and we didn't lose very many plants due to heat, it also rained several times. It appeared she didn't water the indoor plants. She sent photos of one cat, Eleanor, who appeared daily; the other cat Harley was very unhappy with our absence and stayed hidden.”

“She knows what she is doing! I love her work! My dogs plus my clients' dogs were happy. She was willing to take over my clients' dogs while I had an urgent family affair (death) out of state. She's awesome!”

“Marie quickly responded to my request and set up a meet and greet. With short notice she was able to care for my two pups. Her dog is a total sweetheart as well and they all got along great! I definitely will be requesting Marie’s services again in the near future. 10/10 would recommend!”

Mel W.
“We have been super happy with the top notch care Mel has given to our pup. He is incredibly attentive, goes out of his way to accommodate our crazy travel schedules, and makes sure our dog has a fun time while we are away. It really is priceless to go on travel and not have to worry about my dog. Also, our pup has had severe stomach issues, so she now has a limited diet; Mel has accommodated her diet and is very careful to feed her meals on time. Lastly, not only has Mel been super responsive with us, he voluntarily reaches out with pupdates and photos that brighten our day, when we are missing our pup. If you ever need a dogsitter in the Santa Fe area, Mel is your guy. We are happy clients and appreciate how loved our dog is when in Mel’s care!”
