We have also had goats, pot bellied pigs, chickens, miniature donkeys and fish. We love spending time with animals and attending to their needs. Walks at parks and in nature or around the neighborhood are a regular part of our day. We are retired and spend a lot of our time traveling in Southern California and Mexico. We provide a safe calm environment in your home and keep your pets' normal routines. We will be bringing our dog with us and she is well adjusted to changing environments and meeting new animal friends. About: I have compassion and am understanding for animals that is hard to put in to words. I carry empathy towards all living things. I have had several dogs of my own and know how much it means to have someone you can rely on to care for them when you’re away. I am currently at home full time and don’t have plans on that changing anytime soon. I am able to work around your schedule and as needed. I have a few appointments a week but they are only one hour at a time. The rest of my time is free. I tend to take my two dogs to the park every day to play ball or run around (depending on weather sometimes). I would love to bring yours along as well. My dogs are very friendly and know how to give your pets their own space when needed. Please keep in mind that if you need a house/pet sitter, my two dogs would have to come with me as I am single and don’t have anyone to care for them. They are great with other dogs and cats. Fully potty chained. No chewing. Keeping safe distance from other animals, always leashed, never left at home alone, reassurance to help them feel safe in the new environment, treats, nap.

About: Very similarly to my history with cats, I've never known a life without at least one pup in my life! Although I don't have my own dog at the moment because I have no space for pups to play, and I know they need to be able to get energy out, and an apartment isn't the best place for that, my Mom still has two dogs that I care for often. As she did with cats, my Mom bred Lhasa Apsos on several occasions, and of course, those doggies were nothing less than completely pampered(as they should be)! I've helped with everything from bathing dogs of all sizes, to walking dogs, to actually helping with delivering puppies! I've had so many breeds of dogs, each with their own personality! I've had Lhasa Apsos, Australian Shepards, Mastiffs, a Saint Bernard, Golden Retrievers, Labradoodles, Greyhounds, and more!
