About: I've grown up around and have had lots of dogs throughout my life. I've had experience caring for all kinds of dogs big and small. I can also manage multiple dogs at once, and can give each pup tons of attention and love. I have a very open schedule both weekdays and weekends. I'm home from college right now, staying with my parents, and have my own car for any transportation. I live in a neighborhood with a large dog park, and plenty of trees and bushes to sniff. If necessary I have a medium-large sized crate.

Pet care naturally fits into my day-to-day life. Right now I work part-time, which means I have all of Tuesdays and Thursdays free, as well as plenty of time on weekends. These days are perfect for leisurely walks, cozy cuddle sessions, and any further attention your pet may need. Beginning June 1, summertime will bring even more flexibility to my schedule. This will allow me to offer more personalized care and be more present for your pet throughout the week, whether it’s a midday walk or just some extra quiet time together. I’m here to help your pet feel happy, comfortable, and cared for in a way that’s tailored to them. When caring for pets in my home, I do my best to create a calm, safe, comfy environment where they can feel relaxed and at ease. I make sure there’s plenty of space for your pet to feel like they’re part of the family, tailor activities to each pet’s personality, whether that means a cozy spot for rest or engaging play sessions, and of course ensure they have everything they need, from food and water to any special instructions you may have provided. When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize maintaining their routine and keeping their space familiar. I’ll follow any specific instructions you provide for feeding, walks, and other care, ensuring that they feel at ease in their own environment. I take the time to connect with your pet in a calm, gentle manner, offering them the same love and attention they’re used to. It matters a lot to me that they feel safe, secure, and happy while you're away.

About: I have always grown up with both cats and dogs in my household and have been a lover of animals from a young age. I have house sat for most of my family members before I went to college and consistently watch my roommates cat, who has lived with us for four years, anytime she is out of town. I currently am a full time graduate student at UVA, just looking for a few jobs here and there between classes and another part time job! Most of my availability is in the morning and afternoons on the weekdays and afternoon and evenings on the weekends. I have been told on many occasions that I have a loving and kind demeanor which I will share with your pets. I would be honored to give your pets some love when you are out of town, working, or just busy!

About: I have provided care for many pets from my former teachers, neighbors, family and word of mouth. Both my pets have lived to be seniors and watched senior pets as well. I worked at an animal hospital for about 2 years before moving to this area. I am familiar with giving medications and following instructions on feeding due to allergies and stomach concerns in dogs. I am experienced with reactive dogs and protective dogs when entering the home. I am mostly able to do daily check ins in morning-midday. My work schedule varies, so just ask I can try to work something out! I will meet or chat with you prior to meeting your pup or cat and learn there favorite snacks, toys and walk routes. I want then to be comfortable with me.

From raising my own family pets to caring for dogs of all ages, whether it’s energetic puppies just weeks old or gentle seniors needing extra love. I bring years of experience and genuine care to every dog I meet. Over the past 8 years, I’ve had the joy of watching dogs for friends, neighbors, and family, and I treat every pup like they’re my own. Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and it brings me so much happiness to care for them and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m currently in grad school at UVA with classes only two days a week, and even then, they’re never longer than a few hours at a time. This means I’m available every day and can easily build pet care into my daily routine. Whether it’s morning walks, midday drop-ins, or overnight stays, I have the flexibility to provide consistent and attentive care. I care for pets by giving them lots of attention, love, and activity. Whether I’m in my home or the client’s, I make sure pets get plenty of time to play, go on walks, or just hang out and relax depending on what they need. I try to stick to their normal routine as much as possible, like feeding times and bathroom breaks, and I always make sure they feel safe and comfortable. Staying active with them through walks, fetch, or just playing around, is one of the main ways I show care and build trust.
