About: I have a senior small dog and have had cats & dogs my whole life! As a senior dog mama, I understand the patience and extra care needed by these and all pets and will take extra care to give your animals love and attention. I am also experienced at getting my dog to take his pills two times a day. I work from home so I am pretty flexible when it comes to times I can drop in or take your dog for a walk. I am patient and loving when it comes to animals and am especially understanding about the needs of older pets. I would welcome detailed instructions and follow client’s lead when it comes to care for their pets.

About: Until recently, I had a 55lb Beagle-Bully mix of my own and used Rover for her when needed (grateful for some wonderful sitters who were very accommodating to her idiosyncrasies). I grew up with dogs, horses and cats. My mother is a bit of a "whisperer" and taught me how to "understand what's in their head", anticipate reactions, understand context of behavior and gain trust (comes in handy for both people and pets!). I have experience with separation anxiety, dominant behaviors and with administering medication. I love the words, "I aspire to be the person my dog thinks I am." We should all be so lucky as to have the love of a dog. I am also very cognizant that "we are their whole world" when a dog lives in the city (I grew up in a rural area where dogs spend more time outside roaming). Let me know if there are any behaviors I should be watching for and mitigating, as well as any commands, etc that your pooch is used to. I work a "typical" 8-5 work week with flexibility to be home for part of the week or part of the day, especially with a little notice to adjust meetings/schedules. I would also love to check in, brush, snuggle, play with and/or walk your fur baby evenings and weekends. Always a delight to meet a new personality! I work a full time weekday job with flexibility to be home part of the week or part of the day. I can adapt quite a bit to accommodate a stay when I have a little notice. If I go into work, it's usually late morning or midday (aka half day). If boarding, pets are welcome on furniture and in the bed at my home. I have a couple squeaker toys, a little sleeping pad on the floor if needed, doggie bags, and some water/food dishes. I don't have a yard but live near the lake with lots of great walking /running for dogs that desire the activity (I walk several miles/week). If needed, I have personal experience with the patience and empathy needed with a reactive/anxious dog so just let me know what you know and I can carry on while you away, adapting as needed.

“Anaiah saved the day. Literally. I was experiencing some issues after a major surgery and the Rover person I had scheduled didn't show up so I was desperate. Anaiah was here in twenty minutes to take them out and then came back a little later to take them for a walk. I'm sooooo impressed!”

“Rikki was great with the details about cat care and very attentive! I felt great relief knowing that cats were in good hands with a reliable person to stop by and tend to their needs. Definitely will recommend!”

About: I grew up with multiple dogs from golden retrievers to hound/lab mixes, so I have experience with different dog personalities and energy levels. In the past few years, I’ve gotten more experience pet sitting for friends including both dogs and cats and have really enjoyed it. I’m on summer break from medical school, so my schedule is fairly flexible which means I am able to cater to a variety of schedules that work best for your pet. My goal is for your pets to feel comfortable while you are away. I’m attentive to details and instructions you provide for any specific needs your pet has.

“Annalise was wonderful with my two furbabies. This was the first time that I have left them for more than three days, and after moving three months ago. She was so patient when the security process at my building was not perfect, and was so communicative throughout the week I was away. I will definitely ask her yo look after Roux and Beignet again!”

“Kiirsten has been a friend for 20 years! Not only does she take excellent care of her two dogs, she has helped me care for my goldendoodle many times and he just loves her and the entire fam! I would highly recommend Kiirsten as someone who would take good care of your pets.”

Tracey B.
“Tracey was raised in a family of animal lovers and she goes to great lengths to accommodate the needs of her own rescued dog, Pucca. Tracey learned the responsibility of caring for a variety of animals as a young child and she will forever be a kind and caring advocate for animals. Tracey is from a family that could not function without the love of animals in our lives. Tracey's first rescued dog was when Tracey was about 8. There was a stray dog that needed help but would not approach when I tried to help. Tracey later asked if she could bring the dog home and I advised her, "I don't think we can get him to come in the pickup". Tracey informed me, "I already have him in the pickup". Needles to say "Bud" became Tracey's dog and he grew into a beautiful white German Shepard with a little love and care. So yes, I think your dogs will be in good hands with Tracey looking after them. Megan M.
“We've had many dog sitters for our dog, Eleanor, but Megan has without a doubt been the best. Eleanor is a rather shy dog with quite a few (lovable) quirks and Megan handles her exceptionally well. Megan consistently entertains her, gives frequent updates, and we've never had any issues on her watch. Megan truly cares for animals and is extremely attentive to their wellbeing. I can confidently say she'd be an excellent pet sitter for Rover.”

Carolyn R.

“My dogs are very well cared for as are my chickens. Carolyn goes above and beyond.”

Jenae C.

“Jenae did a wonderful job caring for our cat with drop-in visits over Christmas! Great communication and reliability, and we came back to a happy cat!”
Linden Hills pet parents share their Rover experiences
Angela was a wonderful sitter for our two gals, and I would not hesitant to ask for her help again. She is very dependable. I was especially amazed by how quickly she understood our cats’ personalities after just the first visit - she clearly is very in tune with kitties and takes great care of them! :)

Olga and Natalia were exactly what we were hoping for--and Duffy took to them right away, laying next to Natalia and playing "tug-of-war" with his toy. They will be house-sitting for us when we go on vacation later this month and we feel very comfortable with having them watching Duffy.
