About: We're Anna and David, and we live in Minneapolis with our young kid. We would love to watch your dog while you're away! We have a private backyard in a dog-friendly neighborhood – lots of sidewalks, parks, and lakes around. We both enjoy walking, being outside, and doggy snuggles. David grew up with a dog, and Anna grew up with ferrets and has ferret, cat, and dog sat since she was a teenager. We have experience administering medicine to dogs. Our kid is used to being around dogs. We ask that your dog also have experience around kids and be good with them if you consider a stay in our home. As a couple, we had a rescue dog the entirety of our decade-plus long relationship until recently. After the death of our beloved dog, we are not yet ready for a new dog but are missing them in our lives. We look forward to hosting your pup! We both work from home and have flexible schedules. We enjoy the companionship of having a dog around and take regular walks throughout the day. We have a small dog bed and treats. We have space for a crate if necessary. Regular outside time is important for us, and we would include your pup when we are outside whenever possible. Our backyard is partially fenced. If needed, we have a yard stake and leash. We spend a lot of time in our backyard in warmer months, for work, meals, and gatherings and would only keep dogs in the yard if we are out there.

She sent tons of pictures of him while I was at work and said he played all day -- which was perfect! I'm definitely going to be rebooking in the future. :-) Walter was pooped once we got home.”

About: I have experience with dogs of all ages and plenty of personal dog training experience. The dogs in my house get lots of love and attention from myself, my husband, and my little boys. My children have been taught extensively on how to treat animals and are gentle and kind when it comes to interacting with my dogs. My fenced in back yard makes it easy to let the dogs out to play and do potty breaks throughout the day. I am a stay at home mom, so I am home all day taking care of the kids and the dogs. The most I'll need to leave the dogs alone is a couple hours if there are any appointments or errands I need to run on a given day! I let the dogs out regularly into our fenced backyard and do walks if weather permits. There almost always someone home, so the dogs are never wanting for company, fresh water, and interaction/play.

About: I have taken care of many dogs and cats over the years. I have had 5 dogs and 6 cats myself in my lifetime. I regularly take care of a 14 year old dachshund. I have been caring for him for over 8 years now. He comes to my place and stays up to a couple of weeks several times a year. My dog and cat both get along with others very well. Deru is the little guys name. He is a diabetic. I have many years of experience giving him his insulin shots and special food needs. I feel I can handle most any pets needs with little or no problems. I have many many references I can share with whoever would like them? I love rescuing dogs and cats. I love trying to help place them in loving homes. I also know many vets in town that would also give me great references as well. I can't think of anything I would rather do with my life than taking care of dogs, and cats!! I have a dog and a cat myself. My dog is a high energy dog so she gets dog park time every day as well as walks around her neighborhood almost daily. I only have a partially fenced yard. However I will not let a clients dog of a leash unless we are at an off leash dog park.

We love to go on walks around the lake, with lots of tired pup snuggles afterwards. Steve and Laura both grew up with dogs, and as adults we had our own rescue dogs from 2009 to 2023. In the past, Laura volunteered with a rescue agency, and both have experience administering medication, dealing with dogs with anxiety, seizures, and other medical issues. Our kids are young and used to being around dogs. We ask that your dog also be good around kids if you consider a stay in our home. We used Rover sitters to care for our dog beginning in 2014, and we have been Rover sitters since 2018. We look forward to hosting your pup! We both work from home so we are around for your dog most of the time. We go on a several walks each day, and dogs have frequent access to our backyard as well. We have a fenced yard, access to walking trails, extra dog beds, toys, and treats. We are used to welcoming many different types of dogs.
