About: I am currently employed as a Hospice Admissions Coordinator and am offering pet sitting services in my free time. I have a lifelong love for animals and extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats of all breeds. Growing up, I volunteered at a local veterinary clinic, which deepened my understanding of animal care and behavior. While caring for your pets, I provide daily updates and photos so you can stay connected with your furry family members while you’re away. I am flexible with scheduling and strive to accommodate each client’s individual needs. I kindly ask that all animals be up to date on their vaccinations for the safety of everyone involved. Your pets will be treated with the same love and attention I give my own—spoiled and cared for like royalty! I also offer light household cleaning services during pet-sitting visits for an additional fee. I am currently employed with Hospice, but animals have always held a special place in my heart. I take great joy in caring for pets and understand the importance of providing them with love and attention while their owners are away. I offer flexible scheduling and am happy to make accommodations to meet the needs of each client and their pets. I ensure my pets are well cared for every day — providing fresh water each morning, daily feedings, and clean litter boxes. When I had my dog before he passed, we enjoyed daily walks (often more than one!) and followed a consistent feeding routine. I treat my fur babies as family and care for them as if they were my own children. Being told I may not be able to have children has made my pets even more precious to me — they truly are my family.

About: I've pet/house sat for multiple people in the past. Animals include dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles. I like to have a meet and greet before ever staying with your pets alone. If you have any special diets or quirks make sure we discuss them in advance! I don't mind staying for a few hours to watch your animals or just drop in, whatever is needed! I have a nighttime job so, your animals will need to be able to be alone at night a few days of the week! I will discuss meal plan, how often you walk them/let them outside, and if they have meds with you prior to caring for your animals.

About: I live on a farm and I have had/have all different types of dogs and all other farm animals growing up. I am very particular in the care of my pets that would take your needs of your pets very seriously. I’m a stay at home animal mom already. I have a flexible schedule that I can work with you to get the best schedule for your pets needs. Stopping by mornings, afternoons, evenings! * I only do drop in visits and walks* I am able to give the clients pet the love and care it needs while they are away. I’m very particular about my own pets care that it is my personal duty to keep the clients normal routine for their pet as close as possible for pets best interest. With plenty of updates.

“Jess was such a great choice to watch my Sammy boy. We were gone from 5/22-6/1 and had no idea it was getting VERY warm here in Iowa. We did not yet have our window air conditioners in. At one point, it got to 85 in our house. I was able to have a neighbor install the window ac’s. Jess was concerned for Sam and offered to stop by to check on him (on a day that wasn’t originally on the calendar). I truly appreciate her doing that! We were in Florida and that helped eased my mind!! We’re already set up to have her take care of him later this summer. Thanks again Jess!”

About: Hi!!! My name is Kadyn and I’ve always had a genuine love for animals!! I feel the happiest when I’m caring for them:) I worked for two years at a local doggy daycare in waukee Iowa, where I gained lots of hands on experience supervising, playing with, taking care of, and ensuring safety of dogs of all sizes, ages and personalities. I have also been a dog sitter and walker for the past five years, building trusted relationships with both pets and their owners while providing dependable care, including administering medications and following detailed instructions to make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved!!! I am a sophmore in college at the University of Iowa! So my schedule is pretty flexible during the week days between classes and I’m open most weekends! I care for them as if they were my own and I do my very best to make them feel comfortable and loved whether they are in my home or the clients!

About: I have spent much of my life taking care of different animals. I grew up on a farm handling chores for animals of all kinds from horses to dogs and cats. I currently have a 3 year old Maine Coon cat named Boston! I currently work mornings, typically 7-3 M-F. My hours vary depending on the week and what I am busy with at work. I work shifts on weekends and nights when needed I have a yard for your pet to run around in and play. I do have 3 other pets in my home that are properly vaccinated and friendly!

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I got my first cat when I was 16 and now have two beautiful cats. Taking care of my cats has taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and genuine love. I have also learned a lot about animal behavior from observing my cats and spending the past six years with them. Even though I have cats at home, I’ve also always loved dogs and enjoy spending time with them. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet and make them feel comfortable and loved. I am a nursing student at DMACC and have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday available to care for pets! I am available to work anytime between 10AM and 11PM. I make sure I always know where my pets are throughout the day. If they aren’t in their usual spots, I check on them to make sure they’re safe and comfortable. Before leaving the house, I make sure they have fresh water, a clean environment, and that their scheduled meals are served. I also pay attention to their behavior because it tells me a lot about how they are doing.

I am a hands-on, loving caregiver and my fur baby Wiggles is a generous host who loves to share. If your baby has special needs, we will accommodate seniors, or puppies that need more frequent potty breaks. Our home is very clean. Wiggles has regular vet care and is healthy and vibrant. I work from my home office. Your baby will not be crated (unless you request it) or left unsupervised. They will receive attention and have a buddy to keep them calm and occupied until you come to pick them up. My sweet Wiggles is a 13.5# Shipoo with a happy, loving disposition. Wiggles is very adaptable and welcomes new visitors to her home with enthusiasm. She is very bright and has helped 2 puppies learn to potty outside with the big kids. She loves meeting new fur buddies. She is an energetic and gentle playmate. We only take one dog (or dog family) at a time so your fur baby(s) will receive our complete attention. We go for walks every 2 hours and have at least one adventure per day to the park or other doggie destination. We make our own food and treats and feed every 4 hours with unlimited low-cal treats. We have and expect good manners, but we also believe doggies should be SPOILED. We look forward to meeting and falling in love with your fur baby.

About: I'm a substitute teacher and a respite care provider looking to supplement my income. I'm comfortable with dogs and cats and animals generally like me. Right now my schedule is open because school isn't in session and my respite client is otherwise engaged. Like I said, I thought I could supplement my income AND play with furbabies. What could be better? I will treat your pets like they're my own and I will care for your home leaving it as clean, if not cleaner, than I found it.
