About: Hello, My name is Sam, and I’m on Rover because I love animals. I'm a creative writing professor at Berry College, which means that I have a flexible teaching schedule that allows me to be available during more traditional business hours--making me the perfect choice to walk your pups while you're at work, stop in to feed the cat lunch, or check in on small animals throughout the day. My previous work experience includes being a volunteer at the Animal Friends Humane Society in Ohio and being an employee at multiple pet boarding facilities where I was responsible for the daily feeding, walking, and socializing of the dogs in our care. I'm a pet owner myself--I currently have or have had large and small dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, hamsters and gerbils, turtles, crabs, fish, and more, which means that I am fully qualified to take care of ALL of your animals while you're away, including daily visits for extended periods of time while you're on vacation. I take care of plants too! I have experience with reactive and aggressive dogs, puppies and elderly animals, walking and socializing dogs off-and-on leash, teaching dogs commands, giving dogs medication and baths, and with potty-training. I am also an expert cuddle buddy. (: I promise to care for your animals as if they were my own. I look forward to the chance to meet your babies and thank you for the opportunity to love them as you do. It’s summer for us professors, so I have a very flexible schedule and can drop by at any time of day, even and especially on weekdays! I walk/exercise daily in the afternoons and it's my hope that I can meet some pups willing to do that with me every day! I will of course follow all owner instruction re: what leash or harness/collar to use, what the house rules are for playing, etc. I never unleash or introduce to other animals on a walk. For cat-sitting, it's worth noting I'm pretty experienced with sassy cat attitudes, ha. I'm not alarmed or put off if a cat is defensive; I know when to give them space and when to ignore them. I am patient and quiet, so I will take the time necessary to earn a worried kitty's trust. Additionally, I’m happy to stay a little longer to hold and love on the especially cuddly types.

I’ve grown up in a home full of animals, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities, routines, and needs. I am also comfortable administering medications and bathing as requested. I currently have very open and flexible availability, which means I can be there when you need me—whether it’s daily visits, last-minute bookings, or extended care. Pet care is my full-time focus, so my daily and weekly routine is built entirely around the pets I care for. I plan my days to ensure every pet receives reliable, unhurried care—whether that’s sticking closely to feeding times, allowing for quality play and enrichment, or simply being present for companionship. Because this is my primary work, I’m also able to accommodate midday visits, extended stays, and last-minute requests when needed. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes so pets can stay in a familiar, low-stress environment. I stick closely to their normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality and adjust my care to fit their needs—whether that’s lots of play and attention or a calm, quiet visit. I also help keep things clean and tidy, including litter boxes or outdoor cleanup. I always aim to make each visit feel relaxed and positive, and I send updates so you know your pet is happy and in good hands.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since before I was 10 years old. I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes and have raised a lab and pit of my own. My family and friends have always felt comfortable relying on me for the care of their animals! There’s no pup too big or too small around here I’m fully free on the weekends for whatever the babies need throughout the day, I do currently work full time during the week but I come home around 3 everyday so there are only a couple of hours they would be alone during the day, But after that I usually let them out about every hour until we go to bed We have a fully fenced in yard that spans about an acre we also have a doggy door they could go in and out if they would like and we have two of our own dogs here both big babies I have my 12 year old black lab who pretty much stays to himself and our 5 year old brown pit mix who loves to be anybody and everybody's friend

About: I've worked with several Bully breeds and a few cattle dogs Puppies ,with leash walking , basics like sit,stay, "name" and heel , I help with "in home" routines to help get control of your doggos as well ! I'm available in the evenings or if we have an appointment scheduled ahead of time I do client training as well . I have 2 other jobs, I'm a touring musician, and the other is a local part time gig I'm very patient and very watchful of dogs under my care never letting them out of my sight I'd rather hang with a bunch of dogs any day than pretty much anybody else

About: My passion our my 3 furbabies! I have three dogs of my own. I’m so proud of my dogs, as I trained each one myself. I’ve grown up with all animals, big or small with a farm next door. I used to run a small pet sitting businesses for the executives in the company I worked for. My business thrilled on word of mouth. I can work each day of the week to care for your animals. I have a flexible schedule, so I may do what is my passion….care for pets! Unfortunately I’m unable to care for any other animals in my home. My pack can be very protective, so it’s best not to test it.

About: I can’t remember a time in my life I haven’t had at least 4 or 5 dogs around me. My family calls me a dog whisperer. Me and dogs just.. understand each other… I think they read the “grandparent” energy I have for them! Every dog loves me because I take care of them and listen to them. I have a beautiful 5 acres and the house for them to stay in and also a 1,200 square foot air conditioned clean garage for them to play in as well as a good yard and a perfect place to walk them if anyone likes their dogs to have extra walks. I’d love to take care of your babies for any reason! I’m pretty flexible so just let me know what you have in mind. I’m available all day every day pick up or drop off. Anytime any day. Dog boarding and grooming and training is what I do and no one does it better! I care for all animals as if they were my own babies. Animals have this pure energy that comes from them and we just understand each other. I love playing with and being around the animals and they love to be around me the same way. I make sure to be careful about leaving dogs unattended I always assure safety first. But a close second to safety is freedom. They love feeling free. And I offer them that safely.

With summer approaching, my schedule becomes even more flexible, giving me plenty of time for regular walks, drop‑in visits, and consistent routines for your pets. Even during the school year, my afternoons, evenings, and weekends are open, which makes it easy for me to fit pet care naturally into my week. Because I’ve always had dogs and cats of my own — both growing up and now in my adult life — caring for animals is already part of my daily rhythm. Whether it’s early‑morning walks, midday check‑ins, or evening visits, I’m able to give each pet the attention, structure, and comfort they’re used to. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to keep their routine as familiar and stress‑free as possible. I know how much comfort pets get from being in their own space, so I make sure everything I do matches the rhythm they’re used to. I follow your instructions closely — feeding schedules, walk times, medications, crate routines, and any little quirks that matter to your dog or cat. I take the time to learn their personality, whether they’re energetic and playful, shy and slow to warm up, or somewhere in between. I make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and structure so they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. Because I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, both growing up and now as an adult, I’m comfortable handling all kinds of needs: puppy energy, senior care, anxious pets, or those who just want someone to sit nearby and keep them company. I also keep your home tidy, respect your space, and send regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: I worked as a Vet Tech and have experience cleaning poop, cleaning vomit, making medicine, socializing puppies, giving vaccines, taking temperatures, giving medications, etc. I have worked with anything from chihuahuas to Great Danes. I currently own a Catahoula Leopard dog. Our family has anywhere fromAustralian Shepard's to Rottweilers. I have taken my dogs on walks daily. The main dog I was walking was 100+ pounds. I am currently in pursuit of a Veterinary degree. I am on the pre-vet track at Berry College and completed high school top of my class 10 out of 370. I am currently a Junior at Berry College and only 1 year away from gaining my degree. I also own a horse that stays with me off campus! I am currently a full-time student and work online. I have plenty of time to play with your pup(s) and take care of them as needed! I make sure to provide the safest environment possible for your furry family members! I will keep a watchful eye on their well-being while you trust me with their care.

About: I have always watched out for our family pets and friends that need help with animals, i have taken on care of my sisters lizard and brothers, taken on care of cats and dogs. I enjoy the love you can receive from animals and the love we can give, i would love to watch and take care of your household pet so that you can do what you have to do stress free! Right now i have a completely open availability to watch and take care of animals everyday and every hour, so it fits in as it pleases and as anyone needs! In my home i make sure to research or know an animal before i take care of it and with my clients it would be absolutely no different as i would make sure to do the things they need but also what the client wants as that is how their pet was raised!

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was a teenager. My friends and family have relied on me for pet sitting, walking their pets, spending quality time with their pets, feeding them and bathing them. I currently work full time but normal hours, 8-5pm. Most of my availability is on the weekends, how I am available in morning and evenings to stop in and check on your pets or feed theme I have a fenced in yard and two very friendly dogs that love to play with other dogs. I also have a cat who is comfortable around dogs. I have a crate available that can be used if needed. We live in a safe neighborhood for walking dogs.
