“Jackie was wonderful with my Shiloh. It’s not easy for me to be away from him but I felt ease and comfort leaving him in her care. She sent video and photos regularly and kept me up to date on how he was doing. He has separation anxiety and she was gentle and caring with him. Separately, I appreciate Jackie’s understanding when I had to adjust the time of my return. She was just great overall.”

“I can’t say enough nice things about Thomas but because of how great he was in every way, I will try. First, he responded to my boarding request in a very timely manner which was important because it was a last minute request. He helped me schedule a convenient meet and greet and even met me half way on the day of drop off because we were running late for our vacation plans. Champ is an only dog from a work from home household who struggles with separation anxiety and we were all extremely impressed with how Thomas took calm, caring control of the hand off after noticing Champ become stressed. Over the course of Champ’s stay Thomas kept us updated on how he was doing with adorable videos and thoughtful observations and thanks to him, pick up went just as smoothly as the drop off. I’ve only had Champ back for a little while but I swear he is less anxious and better behaved after spending just 5 days with Thomas and his pack. I couldn’t recommend anyone higher and I’ve already booked with him again. So very pleased and impressed!”

“Haley was amazing with our dog, Atlas. This was our pup’s first stay away from home and Haley worked hard to make sure Atlas felt comfortable and loved. She sent us updates daily with pictures and videos which really helped to alleviate our own anxiety about leaving Atlas. Haley even gave Atlas a bath and brushed her out before we picked her up and that is a job in itself! We will most definitely leave our pets with Haley in the future without concern knowing they will be loved and well cared for.”

“Jeremy and his sweet wife were so good to my little one while I was away. She had a nice little vacation of her own. It was comforting to know she was in good hands and well cared for. Communication was excellent.”

“One of our best Rover experiences. From the initial meetup through pickup, we felt completely at ease and confident our dog was in great hands. Communication was excellent, and it was clear our dog was well cared for and happy. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend.”

“Sara is fantastic! Our lab was in great hands with her and was even comfortable enough to eat during her short overnight stay! Sara kept us posted with lots of pictures and regular updates. Highly recommend!!!”

“Lizdalia and her family were amazing. She came highly recommended and she did not disappoint. My dogs were so happy and adjusted well to her home. She will definitely be my go to person for my furry sons. 🤗”

“We couldn’t have picked a better person to keep Lulu when we went on vacation for a week! The picture updates, the videos, the daily feedback on how she was doing. I would absolutely recommend Jen to anyone! We are so thankful for her and her family! You will not find a better sitter for your dog!”

“My Goldendoodle Allegiant had a wonderful time under Jennifer's care. We’ll definitely book again next time. I feel at ease knowing our fur baby was in such good hands. Thank you so much, Jennifer.”

“Dianne was awesome. This was my first time leaving my puppy an I was extremely anxious. She kept me updated with what she was doing sent pics and videos everyday. She even gave me tips for home an what to expect with any behavior changes.”

“Cristina was awesome! I have a very spoiled puppy that I had never left before, so I was really scared to leave him for a whole week and I was also afraid that he would be sad, but with Cristina’s care it turned out to be quite the opposite. She sent me daily pics and updates and he looked so happy in all the pictures, he had so much fun being with Cristina. Definitely recommend and will use her services again! Very pleased with how everything went!”

“Bobbie Jo was great with my dog and I will definitely be coming back. We travel often and it’s wonderful to know I have somewhere for my pet to stay that he enjoys and I know he is so well taken care of. Thanks so much Bobbi Jo!”

“Cherie is fantastic! I kept having to extend my time needed for a pet sitter as I’m moving and she had no problem still seeing my kitties. Cherie spent time with my cats and went above and beyond to refill their water towers and clean their litter boxes. She ensured my home was safe and secure and I can tell my kitties loved her. Thank you so much Cherie!”
About: I’ve lived in a multiple animal household my whole life. Now I have 3 pups of my own and 2 outdoor cats that come first. I work full-time but am available before 8 am, lunch break from 12-1, and after 5 pm through the week and all day during weekends I have a fenced in yard. Dogs are welcome to go in and out as they please, roam common areas, and take naps wherever, whenever.
“Lillian and Gwen are phenomenal with our 3 boxers... it was such a relief that they brought them in and treated them as if they were their own. Plenty of pictures and updates whenever we asked. Our 3 can be pretty rowdy sometimes, being young almost 2yos, lol. The yard was well fenced and they had lots of room for them to run and play. We are so grateful to have you both taking care of them, thank you again.”

About: My parents had dogs before I was born so I have never lived without dogs. I share my house now with my two dogs, and I am very lucky to work from home where I can be with them all day. In addition, I spent many years volunteering with a local shelter where I was a dog walker, an adoption counselor, a foster dog mom, and assisted with training classes. If you have a dog care need outside of what I have set as what I will accept, contact me because I may be able to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. My schedule revolves around my dogs. I have a secure, fenced-in yard and an enclosed porch, but they do spend most of their time indoors with me. When I am home, they go out every 3-4 hours, and if I am away, which is not often, I do not leave them for more than 8 hours. I am not scheduling for more than 3 months out, but if you have a specific date request beyond that, contact me and I can look at options. When I host your dog at my home, he or she will be treated like part of the family. I feed my dogs twice a day, and they go out every 3-4 hours when I am not home, or more often if needed. On sunny days, my dogs also enjoy laying on my enclosed porch where I have a few dog beds set up for them. The feeding and potty schedule for your dog is up to you, so please communicate that with me if it would be different from my own dogs. On the rare occasions where I need to leave for doctor appointments or family events, I would crate your dog, or alternately, secure your dog in a small room using a baby gate if you dog cannot tolerate crating. I have two bad shoulders, and therefore I do not walk dogs, but your dog would get plenty of play time with my dogs in my house and in my yard. While I try to not have dogs on the furniture, it doesn't always work out that way, but I do have multiple dog beds in every room of my home. I also have designated areas of the couch where my dogs are allowed. I would require you to bring a leash and your dog's food when you drop him or her off. In terms of in-home visits to care for your dog, I will be sure to let them out, feed them, make sure they have water, administer medications as required, and spend about 15 minutes with them in snuggles or playtime. As mentioned above, I have two bad shoulders so I am not able to walk your dog.
“Khalia is a young, professional sitter who loves every dog she keeps. I feel like her home is a summer camp for our Pug. My daughter will use her from now on as well. So grateful to have the care that allows a worry free vacation for us and a true puppy vaca for Cash.”

About: Hi there! I have been a devoted dog owner and lover my entire life. I understand that dogs aren’t just pets; they are family. Since I'm home full-time, your pup will get constant supervision, endless belly rubs, and all the attention they are used to receiving at home. Your dog will be treated exactly like one of my own. I live in a quiet, non-smoking home in the Acworth area. We have a spacious front yard —perfect for fetch or lounging in the grass. Dogs are allowed on the furniture, and I have plenty of cozy dog beds to go around. If they prefer their own crate, I can easily accommodate that too. I know how stressful it can be to leave your furry best friend behind. I specialize in making your dog's stay feel like a fun vacation rather than a stressful kennel experience. I also provide owners with regular photo and video updates so you can enjoy your time away with total peace of mind! For stays longer than three days I prefer to bring my cavapoo Coco as long as the dogs are compatible. She is being trained as a service animal, so unless she is off the leash and outside, she is surprisingly laid back. Because we both work at home, we are always here. Your dog is never left alone. With your approval I may take them to the dog park to let them run - as long as that is something you enjoy with them. I live on a private road with only 3 other homes. There is almost no traffic so walking is relaxing and safe. Two of my neighbors have dogs, plus there are deer, armadillos, woodchucks, squirrels, chipmunks, and birds to entertain the sniffers and excite the barkers. My house is large and simply furnished with lots of spots for a nap and room for inside play when the weather is uninviting. I’m a Yale graduate with 30+ years working for Fortune 100 companies - I’m trustworthy and honest and you can depend on me to treat your home like mine (or better!) when I’m there.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
