How Do I Keep Your Pet Safe in My Care? (My home) First things first, I’ll introduce myself and send you a list of important questions. Once you answer them, we’ll have a detailed chat about any concerns or questions either of us might have based on your responses. From there, we’ll determine if I’m the best fit for you and your fur baby. If we’re both happy with the outcome, we’ll proceed with the booking. I’ll take notes and create a personalized care plan tailored to your pet’s needs and safety. We can also arrange a meet-up or a face-to-face video call—whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Or, if you prefer, we can do the meet-and-greet on the day of drop-off. Boarding in My Home I provide pet care in a controlled and secure environment. I can supply beds, crates, bowls, toys, leads, and even collars if needed. The only thing I require you to bring (aside from your furry friend!) is their food, as switching diets can upset their stomach. For Dogs: On the first day, I introduce boarding dogs to my home slowly. I allow them to explore in a calm environment while everything stays quiet, giving them time to acclimate. They’ll have access to comfortable beds, fun toys, and a fully fenced yard to enjoy. I only board one client’s dogs at a time to avoid mixing unfamiliar dogs, which could pose a safety risk. If you have multiple dogs from the same household, let me know, and we’ll schedule them together. This approach ensures each dog gets my full attention. During walks, I carry compressed air and, in serious situations, mace to protect your dog from aggressive animals. For Cats: When boarding cats, I set them up in my quiet, sound-tight office to help them settle in. I give them at least 10 minutes of alone time to explore before gently introducing myself. Every cat adjusts at their own pace, and I provide them with as much time as they need to feel comfortable. Just like with dogs, I never mix cats from different households. If you have multiple cats needing boarding, I will schedule them together, but I never double up on different clients’ cats to ensure their safety and comfort. ⸻ My Commitment to Your Pet’s Safety I provide a secure, comfortable, and loving environment for your pets. My goal is to ensure that both you and your pet feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while they stay with me. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m happy to chat!

(Supervised, of course) Or will they panic and try to escape? • Does your dog like car rides? • Does your pet have a habit of swallowing toys or random objects? • Can your pet safely roam at night, or do you prefer they be crated? • Is your pet allergic to anything? (E.g., bees, grains in treats, specific types of kitty litter, etc.) • In case of an emergency on my end (e.g., hospitalization), do you have an emergency contact who can take over your pet’s care? • Do you have a preferred vet in case of an emergency? (E.g., an encounter with an aggressive dog on a walk) The more I know, the better I can ensure your pet has a safe, stress-free, and enjoyable experience while in my care.
A typical day
Personalized Care for Every Pet I tailor activities to each cat and dog based on their personality, energy level, and comfort. I take into account their age, breed, species, and temperament to ensure they feel safe, happy, and right at home. ⸻ For Dogs ? I offer a fully fenced, one-acre yard, but to prevent stress and potential escapes, pets are never left unsupervised outdoors. Escape artists will remain on a lead at all times, no matter how secure the yard is—I’ve worked with dogs for over 20 years, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that “no fence is too tall for a determined escape artist.” ? While in my home, your dog will enjoy: ✅ Daily Walks – At least one custom walk per day (excluding potty breaks). ✅ Outdoor Fun – They’ll have plenty of time to run and play with my dogs on my nearly two-acre property. ✅ Water Play – A small pool for splashing and cooling off on warm days. ✅ Free Roam Indoors – Couches to lounge on, toys to play with, and all the comforts of home. ✅ Enrichment Activities – Puzzle games, lick mats, and chew treats during my daily chores. ✅ Safe Mealtime – Meals served in a designated safe zone to prevent any food-related issues. ✅ Unlimited Fresh Water – Always available, day and night. ✅ All the Cuddles They Want! – Whether they’re lap dogs or independent explorers, I’ll meet them where they’re comfortable. ✅ Errand Adventures – If I need to run errands, they’ll tag along and get a complimentary pup cup! ❤️ ⸻ For Cats ?⬛ I offer a fully renovated office space designed to be a quiet, nearly noise-free sanctuary where cats can relax, explore, and feel safe. In their space, your cat will enjoy: ? Filtered Air & Comfort – A clean, cozy environment with optimal air quality. ? Scratching Posts & Hideaways – High places to perch, hideouts to retreat to, and safe spots to explore. ? Toys & Sunbathing Spots – Plenty of entertainment and the perfect sunning zone for lazy naps. ? Personalized Interaction – I’ll spend quality time with them, making sure they feel right at home. ? Fresh Water 24/7 – Hydration is always available. ? Daily Meals on Their Home Schedule – Sticking to what they’re used to for comfort and consistency. ? Cuddle Time (If They Want It!) – If they love attention, I’ll be there to give all the scritches and snuggles they desire. If they’re shy or prefer solitude, that’s okay too—I respect their space and needs. ❤️ ⸻ No matter their personality, every pet in my care gets the love, attention, and personalized care they deserve.

“Pet Care with an Aussie Twist"
Pet care experience
Growing up in Sydney, Australia, I spent my summers helping pets beat the heat by shaving and bathing them—a skill I learned early on while grooming my mother’s purebred Shih Tzus and raising puppies. My passion for animals didn’t stop there; I volunteered at a local vet clinic, gaining hands-on experience that would shape my future. In college, my love for animals and creativity merged when I trained my dog for a short film that placed 4th out of 80 student projects. Now living in Georgia, USA, I run a small farm and bring a lifetime of pet care expertise to the table. From fostering kittens to rescuing strays, I’ve always had a heart for animals. My experience spans the spectrum of pets—from dogs and cats to reptiles, rodents, and even farm animals like goats, pigs, chickens, and ducks. I’ve cared for them all, and my home has always been filled with the love of a pet. What sets me apart? Whether it’s caring for a senior dog, socializing a shy cat, or giving special attention to a reptile, I’ve done it all. My unique background and lifelong commitment to animals make me more than just a pet sitter—I’m a dedicated caretaker who ensures every pet feels right at home.
Reviews

Haley was amazing with our dog, Atlas. This was our pup’s first stay away from home and Haley worked hard to make sure Atlas felt comfortable and loved. She sent us updates daily with pictures and videos which really helped to alleviate our own anxiety about leaving Atlas. Haley even gave Atlas a bath and brushed her out before we picked her up and that is a job in itself! We will most definitely leave our pets with Haley in the future without concern knowing they will be loved and well cared for.

Hayley’s wonderful with my pups. Gives them good poop and pee walk. They are happy campers when Hayley shows up.

I’m happy I found Hayley on Rover. I needed a dog walker for my two pups. She has a great work ethic, she’s on time , she communicates well, is very considerate of the owners (mine) wishes and most important my pups love her . Even my shy pup warmed up to Hayley on the second visit., now she is a Hayley fan. So I will definitely be using Hayley’s services again. 😊

Hayley once again is the kindest most caring sitter I’ve ever had for my dog! The updates are consistent and the pictures are wonderful! I had my flight cancelled last minute leaving me to be an entire day later than expected and Hayley openly and without question kept Gracie for me! It is so much easier to handle stressful events when you know your animals are not only safe but well taken care of and loved in your absence!!! Thank you so much Hayley for everything you did for us during our time in GA.
