“I cannot thank Jackie enough for the exceptional care she provided to Coco. Coco was incredibly happy under Jackie's care, and I can confidently say that Jackie is the best dog sitter I have ever encountered. Thank you, Jackie, for being absolutely amazing!”

“Vivian was great with our dogs. We have a 5lb Yorkie that can be anxious, but she walked right up to Vivian in the meet and great. She demonstrated no anxiety during her stay with Vivian. Our Boots settled right in and made friends with Vivian’s dogs. Vivian sent pictures all throughout the visit. We will certainly use Vivian again and again.”

“My boys dont have a lot of experience staying with other people, but im so glad u booked with Lilleigh and Gwen! They made my boys right at home and gave them constant love! I was able to actually enjoy our trip and not worry if they were comfortable.”

About: I’ve had and taken care of many different breeds and sizes over my life time of dogs as well as special needs and cats too! I typically wake up around 7-8. Go to the gym sometime within the day but other than that I’m free to watch your babies and take good care of them. I have a really friendly dog who is no more than 20 pounds and a fenced in yard if I watch them at my house. If at someone else house I have plenty of experience with that too and can do all that will be asked.

“Sara has a very welcoming home, she really cares for the pets left in her care. Rosie and Riley were very well treated and I really think that they enjoy their stay with Sara. She has a very professional attitude and really enjoys what she is doing. Thank you very much for your care of my two spoiled dogs, Sara I will use you again and I highly recommend you, again Thank you”

“I really can’t say enough great things about Georgia and her pack Ivan, Gus, and Misha. I am rebooking now if that tells you anything. She has a calm, caring, confidences that my dog responds really well to and her property is set up for fun structured play. She updates frequently with pictures and Champ comes home happy and tired after a stay with her. I highly recommend her!”

About: My parents had dogs before I was born so I have never lived without dogs. I share my house now with my two dogs, and I am very lucky to work from home where I can be with them all day. In addition, I spent many years volunteering with a local shelter where I was a dog walker, an adoption counselor, a foster dog mom, and assisted with training classes. If you have a dog care need outside of what I have set as what I will accept, contact me because I may be able to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. My schedule revolves around my dogs. I have a secure, fenced-in yard and an enclosed porch, but they do spend most of their time indoors with me. When I am home, they go out every 3-4 hours, and if I am away, which is not often, I do not leave them for more than 8 hours. I am not scheduling for more than 3 months out, but if you have a specific date request beyond that, contact me and I can look at options. When I host your dog at my home, he or she will be treated like part of the family. I feed my dogs twice a day, and they go out every 3-4 hours when I am not home, or more often if needed. On sunny days, my dogs also enjoy laying on my enclosed porch where I have a few dog beds set up for them. The feeding and potty schedule for your dog is up to you, so please communicate that with me if it would be different from my own dogs. On the rare occasions where I need to leave for doctor appointments or family events, I would crate your dog, or alternately, secure your dog in a small room using a baby gate if you dog cannot tolerate crating. I have two bad shoulders, and therefore I do not walk dogs, but your dog would get plenty of play time with my dogs in my house and in my yard. While I try to not have dogs on the furniture, it doesn't always work out that way, but I do have multiple dog beds in every room of my home. I also have designated areas of the couch where my dogs are allowed. I would require you to bring a leash and your dog's food when you drop him or her off. In terms of in-home visits to care for your dog, I will be sure to let them out, feed them, make sure they have water, administer medications as required, and spend about 15 minutes with them in snuggles or playtime. As mentioned above, I have two bad shoulders so I am not able to walk your dog.
“I can't say enough good things about Kevonna! They were incredibly accommodating with my last-minute schedule changes and sent photo updates throughout the day. My puppy can be anxious with new people, but she was completely at ease and actually looked disappointed when I came to pick her up! Kevonna clearly treated her like their own dog—they even took the best photos of our puppy that we've seen! Their home was clean, secure, and set up perfectly for dogs. Will definitely book again!”

“Kathryn was so great with our dog boarding at her house! Our dog is a bit anxious but he really settled in with her and her pups, which tells us a ton about her care for him and the environment she creates. She sent pictures and helpful summaries daily, sometimes multiple times a day. Would book again!”

“Our 3 dogs spent 3 days and nights with Sydney while we were out of town. Sydney sent pictures regularly so we could see that our dogs were comfortable and enjoying their new surroundings. At our "meet and greet" before Sydney accepted the booking, Sydney said that she only boarded one family's dog/dogs at a time; that increased our comfort level.”

“Vivian is amazing. After our last sitter bailed on us at 10pm the night prior Vivian connected with us in minutes and confirmed her availability. Harper (our pup) seemed to have a great time and was in great spirits when we picked her up. We were very lucky to find such a wonderful person. We will be back!”

About: I have experience with all walks of life when it comes to animals. From fish to farm animals. I have two cats and two dogs and chickens and goats and pigs and ducks. Along with house birds. I am currently not working. I am a stay-at-home mom. So my schedule is pretty open. Especially to boarding I have the space for it. TimeWise I do work around my toddler schedule for dog walking and Cat sitting. I have a fenced in backyard. A very large house. I also have four kids that love animals. So an animal that loves kids would be preferred. But not completely out of the question if there is a child issue I can just keep my kids away from the animal. Pretty easy to fix.
“Stephanie and her family did a great job making our dogs feel at home. Our dogs love attention and exercise and they got that in Stephanie’s care. She was willing to send us photos and videos while we were away and my kids loved seeing their beloved pets had great care.”

About: I have over five years of hands-on experience caring for animals and provide a safe, structured home environment where pets can relax and feel comfortable. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Animal Behavior, which helps me better understand pet communication, stress signals, and positive handling techniques. Because I work from home, pets receive consistent supervision, attention, and plenty of playtime throughout the day. My home includes a dedicated indoor play area for bad weather and a separate cat room with climbers and scratchers to keep feline guests comfortable and enriched. I also have experience caring for animals beyond dogs and cats, including birds, reptiles, and small mammals. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine since I work from home and structure my day around the animals in my care. Pets receive regular playtime, feeding, enrichment, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Because I’m home most of the time, they are rarely left alone and I’m able to closely monitor their comfort, behavior, and needs. Pets in my home are cared for in a safe, structured, and comfortable environment where they are treated like part of the family. I follow each pet’s normal routine for feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and rest to help them feel relaxed and at home. Dogs receive supervised play and attention throughout the day, while cats have access to a quiet, dedicated cat room with climbers, scratchers, and cozy resting areas. Because I am home most of the time, pets are rarely left alone and I am able to closely monitor their comfort, behavior, and overall well-being.

About: I specialize in consistent communication with the pet owner, having a detailed care plan for each animal i care for depending on their specific needs. Hi! I’m Lexxi! ❤️i am a wife , mom, a Christian, and someone who has always had a heart for caring for others—whether that’s pets or the people who are trusting me with what matters most to them. I have over 20 years of experience caring for pets and truly believe that our animals are part of the family. I’ve always loved getting to know their individual personalities, routines, and little quirks. Whether your pet loves long walks and playtime, prefers lots of cuddles, or is a little shy and needs extra patience, I’m happy to meet them where they are. I’m comfortable with feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, cuddles, cleaning up after them, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. Being a mom has taught me even more about patience, responsibility, compassion, and how important it is to create a safe and loving environment for those in my care. My Christian faith is a very important part of who I am. I try to live my life with kindness, honesty, compassion, and a servant’s heart. I understand how much trust it takes to welcome someone into your home and place your pets in their care, and I don’t take that trust lightly. Whether I’m caring for a little one or a four-legged family member, my goal is always the same: to give them patience, attention, love, and the kind of care I would want for my own. I would be so blessed to become someone your family can trust and feel comfortable with! 🐾❤️ Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I treat every pet as if they were my own and take the time to learn their individual routine, personality, needs, and preferences. When caring for pets in their home, I make sure they are comfortable in their familiar surroundings and follow their normal feeding, walking, medication, playtime, and bedtime routines as closely as possible. I’m also very mindful of doors, gates, leashes, and anything else that could affect their safety. I believe trust is incredibly important, so I communicate with pet parents and keep them updated while they’re away. I’m happy to send photos and updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your fur babies are happy, safe, and receiving lots of love. My goal is to provide a calm, clean, loving environment where your pets feel secure and cared for. As a mom and someone who has spent many years caring for both children and animals, I understand how important it is to have someone dependable, responsible, and trustworthy looking after the ones you love. 🐾❤️

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Silver Creek home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Silver Creek.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Silver Creek sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
