“Awesome experience! I have been fortunate to have friends and family look after my dogs when I travel. That changed recently and I found myself in a gut wrenching predicament to find a loving home to watch my two dogs-a Bassett hound and a senior small mixed breed (both of which have their own challenges). “Bentley loves being outside, so the deck and large property is just what he needs. I feel 100% comfortable and fully confident that he is in good hands here. Charles has cared for Bentley many times over the past 8 years before he started using Rover, so I already knew he was fantastic! The house is always very clean, organized and safe for pets. Charles is so very easy to work with, responds really quickly, and makes sure Bentley is safe and happy. He truly seems to love caring for dogs, and he is just a genuinely good person overall. Bentley is a senior dog now, but he doesn't have any unique needs. However, it really makes me happy to know that Charles has so much experience in dealing with aging pets. I know that one day Bentley may be on medications, develop cataracts or start losing his hearing. It is great to know that I will have a very special place for him that will truly cater to whatever needs arise. Charles has so much patience for blind dogs, especially. I know he goes the extra mile for all dogs, but especially the blind ones. What he has done to help his blind dog since he rescued her several years ago is hands-down amazing. I can tell she has blossomed in his care, and I know he does the same for all the dogs he takes into his home. I could write so much more here about Charles and the family, but for the sake of brevity, let me just say they are the BEST you can get! 5+ stars doesn't even begin to say it all. Five stars! Katherine and her husband were fantastic with BeBe. From the moment we met them, we could tell they genuinely love animals. They provided excellent care, gave BeBe plenty of attention, and made sure she felt at home. One thing we especially appreciated was that BeBe had the opportunity to spend time with their dogs and interact with their children. This was a great experience for her, as it provided positive socialization and helped her become more comfortable around different people and pets in a safe and loving environment. When we picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for.
