Peace of Mind for Pet Parents
What truly sets me apart is my deep experience with dogs of every temperament, especially those with special behavioral or emotional needs. Unlike sitters who only know "easy" dogs, I have spent my life caring for a wide spectrum of rescues, from fearful and anxious to hyperactive and aggressive personalities. I treat every dog as an individual, and I have a proven ability to connect, communicate, and build trust with all of them. I've successfully managed daily medication schedules and provided attentive care for senior pets and energetic puppies alike. My friends and family jokingly call me "The Dog Whisperer" because I bring a unique blend of patience, calm energy, and deep love to every interaction. This means that whether your pet is shy, a little reactive, or just needs constant attention, you can rest assured they are with a caregiver who understands them.

Christopher took wonderful care of our two girls. He sent regular updates with photos and videos, and even won over our very skittish spaniel. Pet care is not a side job, it is part of my daily routine and a priority. I am a stay-at-home dad, so I can structure my day to ensure maximum availability and dedicated time with every dog.

I have a large fenced yard and a four-year-old Basset Hound who loves to meet and play with new friends. I am also the father of two elementary-aged kids who will give your pet all the love they could ever hope for.

I love keeping pets active and mentally stimulated while their owners are away! Depending on the pet's energy level, age, and preferences, some of my regular activities include: * Walks and outdoor time – exploring the neighborhood, sniffing walks (letting dogs set the pace to explore scents), or trips to JB Williams Park or other dog-friendly parks/trails * Fetch and tug-of-war – great for high-energy dogs who need to burn off steam * Puzzle toys and treat-dispensing games – for mental stimulation, especially on days when we can't get outside as much * Cuddle time and brushing – for pets who prefer a calmer pace, lots of affection and grooming to help them feel comfortable * Training refreshers – practicing basic commands or tricks to keep their skills sharp I always tailor the activities to each individual pet's personality, energy level, and any instructions from their owner, and I send photo/video updates so you can see the fun we're having!

- Before we meet, it helps me to know a few things about your pet so I can give them the best care possible: * Medical needs: Any medications, allergies, or health conditions I should know about (and dosing/timing if applicable) * Behavior & triggers: How they do with strangers, other animals, kids, loud noises, thunderstorms, or being left alone, and anything that tends to stress them out * Bite history or reactivity: I ask this of every client, not just yours. Better safe than sorry for everyone involved * Routine: Feeding schedule, walk/potty habits, and any quirks around mealtime (resource guarding, fast eaters, etc.) * Commands & cues: Words or hand signals they respond to, especially for recall or calming them down * Escape artist tendencies: Whether they're a jumper, digger, or bolter, so I know what precautions to take * Comfort items: A favorite toy, blanket, or spot in the house that helps them settle * Emergency contact info: Your vet's info and a backup contact in case I can't reach you The more I know upfront, the smoother things go for your pet, and the more relaxed you can feel leaving them with me. I always do a Meet & Greet first so we can go over all of this in person too.
