“Serena went above and beyond to make me feel super comfortable with her taking care of my baby. She was always sending me pictures, videos and texts! She even brought in some packages that were outside my door and put my trash bins back to where they are! My baby loves her and even ate from her hands! I felt so good knowing they are in good hands. I recommend her 100%! Thank you Serena!!”

“I feel incredibly grateful to have found such a wonderful person to care for my cat, Yazmin. I needed someone I could trust on fairly short notice before a trip, and from the very beginning she made that possible. She took the time to come introduce herself beforehand so we could meet, and that alone meant so much to me. From the moment we met, I could sense her genuine love for animals. She has such a warm, nurturing spirit, and it gave me immediate peace knowing Yazmin would be in caring hands. While I was away, she sent photos and updates that reassured me my baby was safe, comfortable, and being loved. Leaving a pet behind is never easy, but she truly made the experience feel effortless and worry-free. Knowing Yazmin was being cared for by someone so kind, attentive, and trustworthy allowed me to fully enjoy my trip. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will care for their pets not just responsibly, but with real heart. Yazmin and I are both so thankful. 🐾✨”

“Nathalia is the only sitter we trust with our pups, she goes above and beyond with them every time. She even sends the cutest pictures of my babies, they’re always smiling!”

“Nina was awesome! This was my first time leaving my pets with anyone while my family and I were away on vacation, and she made the entire experience stress-free. My dogs don’t get along with just anyone, they’re very high-energy, but from the moment they met Nina, they instantly connected with her. That gave me a lot of peace of mind while we were away. Nina was extremely attentive and detail-oriented. She sent photos during every check-in, kept us updated throughout the whole process, and even provided photo proof that the house was secure. She also cleaned up any messes, brought in packages that were left outside, and truly went above and beyond what was asked of her. I will definitely book with her again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter! too!”

“Dayana saved me by accepting a very last minute booking. She was so understanding and really worked with me to make sure my two fur babies went outside to use the bathroom and got fed. 10/10 would definitely book with her again!!”

“My dog LOVES Donovan. They took to each other right away. I was leery about giving a total stranger the key to my house but I trust Donovan 100%. Now I can go to work and not worry about my dog waiting and suffering until I got home to relieve herself. He's the best!”

“Kat was everything we needed and hoped for during our week long vacation! She stopped in to care for our kitties and did such a great job updating us on how they were doing and by sending the cutest pictures of our babies! We will absolutely be using her again the next time we travel!”

“Michelle was amazing with our usually very shy and reserved cats. She was a new sitter to me as my old, much cherished sitter is no longer available. I had literally just moved, my home still mostly in boxes, and had to take a business trip out of town. I did what I could to ensure my cats were situated with all of their comfort items and all of their spaces within the home unpacked and secure before leaving. Michelle came into that situation/chaos and took charge. She was even able to pet one kitty by the end and capture a few photos of my most timid. That says ALOT because frequently, this kitty hides so effectively with sitters they cannot even provide a "proof of life" photo of her. I came home to clean litter boxes and happy, stress free cats. If you need a cat sitter, Michelle is the one. I will definitely be using her again.”

“Jovanni sent me pics of my babies every time she visited them. She told me about the “talks” she had with each and how the walks went. I was very at ease being away knowing they were being loved on and cared for as if they were her own. ❤️”

About: I have been professionally pet and house sitting since I was 16, but have taken care of animals almost all my life. Some of the animals I’ve personally had the pleasure to own have been a turtle, fish, a hamster, cat, and dogs. Most of my experience is with dogs, ranging from 3 month puppies to 16 year old gray faced seniors that have special needs. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed feeding schedules, and giving the necessary patience and attention to animals who need additional assistance. My schedule is flexible throughout the week and weekend, so your pets will get the best companionship, supervision, and care I can give. I will respond as soon as I can with any inquiries or concerns. I provide respectful, attentive care for both pets and homes. Whether it’s playtime, potty breaks, feeding, or simply relaxing together, your pet will be supervised and well cared for. I also take pride in keeping homes clean, organized, and well maintained, so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
“Kathryn is a very reliable sitter who I can count on! My cat loves seeing her and was very well cared for during my time away. She and I hope to have Kathryn as a sitter again soon!”

About: I love dogs, every single time I see one in public I simply must ask the owner if I can pet it. I had a childhood dog since I was three and I took care of her throughout her senior years. I changed her diaper, took her on walks, helped to feed her when she couldn’t feed herself and I got really good at hiding pills in bread or cheese! I can’t wait to get to know you and your pet! I have a flexible schedule since I am currently in college so I can work around your schedule. I am available every day early mornings till 10 am, 3-6 pm, and 10:30 till pretty late in the night. I guess I would describe myself as a gentle parent when it comes to animals. I am very stern when it comes need to be but I will not yell at, push, or hit an animal ever. The worst I will ever do is repeated pets and kisses. I watched a lot of “Caesar Milan’s Dog Whisper” when I was a kid so I like to think I am good with dogs
About: I’ve cared for dogs at every life stage, from administering medication to my senior pup to helping young puppies learn their very first commands. I’ve also raised my Husky since he was just 4 months old, and now at 5 years old he’s given me years of hands‑on experience with high‑energy breeds, structure, and positive reinforcement. While I’m not officially certified, I’ve learned a great deal from working alongside professional trainers and applying those techniques consistently in my daily routine. I'm currently going to school full-Time, I would always make time to take care and spend time with your pups or if you have an older companion! I'm available on some weekdays. Weekends I can do. I’m currently not going to be providing boarding due to space and have a big dog. But I can do drop in visits offering playtime, long walks, and cuddles during my visits.
About: I am a animal lover ready to help lift your responsibilities as a pet owner. I graduated high school with a veterinary assisting certification in 2015. Also, received an FFA Greenhand certification. I’ve owned dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, chickens and all sorts of animals throughout my life. I also worked at Zoo Miami in Fl for two years. I wanted a job where I can be around something I love each & everyday. Rover seemed like a great match for me. I am a friendly individual, responsible & disciplined. I would be more than happy to assist you & your pet. I can send pet updates throughout the care period to ease your worries. Your beloved pet will be in great hands when choosing me as the caregiver.

I have an 8 foot high fenced backyard with a small doggy door. Pets are welcome on the furniture or one of the many pet beds and will be provided fresh water and be fed separately. About: I've been living with animals all my life. I've taken care of several different breeds of dogs and cats. I've even worked with local zoos and sanctuaries. I also assist in managing a local cat colony and do other things in the community to help out the animals. I couldn't see my life without animals. I will surely treat your fur baby with love and care just as if they are my own. Right now I am working from home part time and I have a flexible schedule, set schedules welcome, I'm up for morning walks, over night caring and weekends for your cat or dog. I prefer to care for your pet at your house. I can possibly accommodate one or two cats at my house. Thank you so much, Michelle! I loved being able to leave town and feel like my kitties were in great hands. My confidence was not misplaced. Michelle did a great job of communicating and following my instructions for feeding my 5 cats. I would totally recommend her!

We had a great experience with her! She responded quickly, was reliable, and took excellent care of our cats while we were away. Our pets clearly felt comfortable with her and seemed very happy. Everything went smoothly, and we felt at ease knowing they were in good hands. We would definitely recommend her and would be happy to book with her again.

Serena was great. As a first time user, I was nervous about leaving my pets. As soon as I met Serena, I felt instantly comfortable. She did everything as was requested of her and went above and beyond. I would highly recommend her and will be using her again.

Just got back from a short vacation where Ashley watched my three cats and she did a great job! We had an issue with getting into my condo but she spent a whole 10 minutes making sure she could get in to take care of them. My cats are shy but after the first visit all of them had come out of hiding and photos and updates on the status of their food and water litterboxes were given after every visit!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
