She was wonderful with them, gave extra attention to one that is a bit skittish made sure she was eating and comfortable and with in 3 days that cat was allowing her to pet and felt safe. They sleep with me every night and have different beds for them to sleep in downstairs and upstairs. They each have a basket of toys and my cat even has a cat tower and a cat room where she can relax. I do believe animals should roam free, so while they are with me, they will be receiving loads of cuddles and play time.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 14 years old. I have petsitted a few times in Nicaragua, but the service was never as popular. About: Caring for pets isn't new to me. I'm the go-to pet sitter for a few of my best friends whenever they travel, and I've cared for everything from energetic young dogs to senior pups who require extra patience, medications, vitamins, and special care. I know every pet thrives on consistency, so I always ask for detailed instructions about feeding schedules, walks, medications, favorite toys, sleeping habits, and any little quirks that help them feel safe and comfortable while their family is away. After more than 20 years in the corporate world, including over 13 years in Human Resources, I recently decided to take a career break and slow things down a little while I figure out what’s next. It’s given me something I haven’t had much of in my career — flexibility. My schedule is very open, which means I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I’m caring for. I’m not rushing in and out between a full-time job or trying to squeeze pet care into an already busy schedule. I can work around their normal routines and be there for the walks, playtime, meals, medications, or simply the company they’re used to having. I’m starting locally because I’ve been caring for friends’ and family members’ pets for years and would love to continue doing something I genuinely enjoy while building my Rover experience. I’m also hoping to eventually combine pet sitting with my love of travel, so this feels like a really fun new chapter for me. If your pet has a specific schedule or needs someone who can be flexible, I’m happy to work around their routine. And if plans change or something unexpected comes up, I have the flexibility to adjust without it becoming a problem I can’t care for pets in my own home because pets aren’t allowed in my apartment, so I primarily offer care in your home. (My own pets live with my brother, so we have what you would call “joint custody” haha. I’m the auntie who visits any chance she gets and also the sitter whenever my brother is out of town.) Before you leave, I want/NEED to know detailed instructions on how things normally work for your pet — feeding times and portions, walks, medications or vitamins, bedtime, favorite treats, where they like to sleep, and all those little quirks that make them them. Show me their routine, and I’ll do my best to keep things as normal as possible while you’re away. Because I’m taking a career break, I have the flexibility to spend real quality time with your pets. Whether they love long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I’m happy to keep them company throughout the day rather than just stopping in to feed them. About: I just moved here from Chicago to start a position at UM! I’ve been an animal, especially dog and cat, person my entire life. Since leaving home, I’ve had to leave my puppies with my family during this transition. I miss them so dearly - I hope to find some families who have pets in need of some help. It will help me fulfill my need and love for animals, and I love to help others too. I worked at a dog kennel for 2+ years previously. Training, feeding, walking, and (my fav) playing with the pups!
