Availability
I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule for pet care. I am available for drop in visits or walks for clients Monday through Friday early in the morning or in the late afternoon/evening. Weekends are free and I am usually available on holidays, giving clients options for covered pet care if they have weekend plans, work late, or are traveling. I can be available other times too on occasion and at short notice, so please reach out to see if I am available!

I know how nerve wracking it can be to go away whether for a long day of work or for a longer trip and to leave your fur baby at home. With my care, you can ensure that your pet will be safe at all times and you can have peace of mind. In your home, I would take care of your pet exactly as you would prefer and would follow all instructions given from the pet parent. I would send plenty of pictures and provide detailed updates on how the pet is doing through the Rover card.

A typical day
I know pets can become sad and lethargic when their owners are away due to being thrown off their normal routines, so I always try and get pets active and moving to expel energy whether that is with treats, toys, or just pure love and affection.

Pet care experience
I love taking care of pets! I am extremely dependable and highly organized, which leads me to caring extra and providing the very best care to my fur babies. I have had pets my entire life and spent many years volunteering at various animal shelters, so I have a wide variety of experience with different ages, breeds, and tempers. I have bottle fed kittens that fit in the palm of my hand all the way through taking care of elderly cats and dogs that need extra assistance. I spent time volunteering at a special needs animal shelter in Utah and have worked with animals that are friendly, shy, scared, upset, and even feral. I also have experience with a wide range of sizes from small to large cats and dogs. I have kitten/puppy clients and can also do multiple animals at a time. I have two dogs and two cats myself that are all shelter rescues and three of which were prior abused. Between all my time caring for animals, I am confident that I can provide great quality care to your pets just like I do my own!

Very grateful, I’d highly recommend. I’ve been recovering from surgery and one of the things I can’t do is walk my dog. I was so worried because she’s a 70 pound lab who tends to pull on her walks. I was so stressed out, couldn’t ask family to help, and had reached out to a couple of Rover’s who were unable to help. Cara was very transparent from the beginning and has been such a great help. Layla is very friendly but you can tell when she’s not comfortable with someone and that is definitely not the case with Cara. Layla always waits the door around the time she knows she comes by and she always comes back very excited from her walk. Thank you again
