“Jessie went above and beyond to get to Winnie and give her a couple great walks and provide great feedback. A snow wall was not enough to keep him away. Thrilled with our first rover experience thanks to him!”

About: Ever since I was a little kid I fell in love with every animal I met. Starting in high school I began watching pets for neighbors, family and friends. I have lived in the Asheville area now since 2017 and have spent time pet sitting many dogs, cats and chickens. I am open to watching all pets and look forward to meeting them! I am a self-employed ceramic artist so my schedule can be very flexible to house sitting, dog walking, etc. Please reach out and I will try to accommodate any schedule you need! I have reliable transportation and am happy to come take care of your animals in your home. I have a Subaru Outback and can easily put your dog in the car to go to a park or walking trail. I do not watch pets at my own home. I currently live in an apartment building with restricted animal rules and have my own cat who is older and does not want to be around other animals.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

“Not to be dramatic, but Louise is the best dog sitter I’ve ever had! My pup, Dolly, absolutely loves her and she’s always providing the sweetest most thoughtful updates and cute pictures. I always know Dolly will be well taken care of with Louise. I work long days in the summer months, so I need someone to give her exercise and attention during the day when I can’t. With other sitters I would come home and Dolly would still seem wound up, but she seems like she’s getting exactly what she needs with Louise. Couldn’t be happier with her!”

“Natasha was amazing! She was so patient and considerate with our shy puppy and her needs. She went above and beyond to make sure our puppy was well taken care of.”

“Emmie has been a huge help dropping in on my dogs the past couple months. She communicates well and has been consistent and flexible with me.”

“I adopted my dog fairly recently so I was nervous about leaving her with someone else for the weekend, but Megan was extremely attentive and made me feel comfortable on day 1! She was wonderful about providing updates and asking about details I hadn't even considered. I have a cat as well and I could tell they were both very fond of her by the end of the weekend. I would definitely recommend Megan to anybody looking for a petsitter.”

“Thank you Tylan! As usual we are very grateful for you taking such good care of our kitties. So glad they are building trust with you as well. Hope you’re having a great day and we’ll be in touch soon.”

“Nelly was well taken care of and everything was in order when we came home. We would definitely use him again!”

She has tons of experience working with animals, and was able to accommodate my pup's special needs! My dog has some pretty big separation anxiety, but she really looks forward to seeing Anna and feels totally comfortable with her!”

“Allison has done a great job when checking in on our puppy, and made us feel as comfortable as possible that he is being cared for while we are at work. She has been communicative and attentive with Boone in all check ins, especially as he has had some unexpected neurological health issues come up. She has been flexible, easy to work with, and we have felt gone above and beyond with care for Boone.”

“Could not have asked for a better sitter for my dog for a week. Miranda was thorough, on time, very communicative, and loving. She did way more than she was asked. Very happy with the Rover Service, and Miranda was a godsend. Highly recommend.”

“Shannon was amazing! I was nervous about leaving my cat to go on vacation for the first time since getting him. She took great care of him and sent me so many photos and videos and gave me great peace of mind. Highly, highly recommend!!!”

About: Hello! My name is Lena. :) I am a pet sitter of many years, and a proud fur mama of a 16-year-old chihuahua named Cinnamon. I spent a few years in my early 20s as a full-time dog groomer, before moving to Asheville and pursuing other professional ventures. I've also worked in a kennel and doggie daycare, so am experienced and comfortable with dogs of all ages, energy levels, and dietary needs. I understand that every dog is different, and am happy to provide care for those who need to exert extra energy, those who are couch potatoes, and every fur baby in between. As an added bonus, I've also done master level reiki training, and have provided animal reiki quite a few times! I currently work part-time during the day, so will be around for morning + evening walks & feeding, as well as overnight for stays. I am happy to spend more time with your fur baby around these hours! For overnight stays, I do my best to accommodate to your pet’s normal routine with feeding/walks/etc. I will typically come by around dinner time, and stay until mid-late morning. I like to bring my senior chihuahua for longer stays if your pet would be open to a friend!

“Isabel did a great job of taking care of our two dogs and our house while we were gone. She was punctual and left great pictures showing our dogs were in excellent care.”

“Stephanie was so awesome!! She sent lots of great pictures and videos of our babies having fun and left super detailed messages that were so appreciated. She was very fun to work with and talk to and we felt so relaxed knowing our pups were in good hands!”

“Katlyn was wonderful and took great care of our dogs while we were away. We will definitely be reaching out to her again.”

About: Hi friends! I am an energetic person who LOVES the outdoors and basically any kind of animal. I am blessed enough to be able to work for my husband for his concrete business so I am home (mostly) all day every day! I have 3 dogs myself; a Border Collie, GSP, and a mixed breed (half Great Pyrenees, half Australian Shepherd). They are my babies. I live on 19 acres that is all fenced but 18 of those acres are occupied for our 13 goats and 3 llamas! No worries though, we have a huge fenced in area directly beside/where our house sits just for dogs! We also have a doggie door from inside, leading to the outdoor area, so your dog will definitely get the exercise and outdoor time they deserve, as well as coming and going as they please! :) I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies! Monday-Thursday with some weekends! We travel a lot over the weekends in the summer so weekends are limited but I will keep my weekend schedule updated We have a doggie door leading to the fenced in area for our dogs so they are able to come and go as they please. If you aren’t comfortable with the doggie door, I will make sure your pet does not use it and I will take them out for breaks frequently!
