About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I bring that same love and dedication to every pet I care for. I have two dogs of my own—one senior and one younger—so I understand the different needs pets have at various life stages. Whether it’s providing extra care and comfort for senior pets or keeping energetic pups engaged, I tailor my approach to each pet’s personality and needs. I even got married on a petting farm to incorporate animals into one of the most special days of my life! That love and appreciation for animals extend into my pet-sitting, where I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have experience with basic training, senior pet care, and understanding animal behavior, ensuring a safe and happy experience for both pets and their owners. With me, your pets will not only be well cared for, but they’ll also receive plenty of love, attention, and enrichment while you’re away! Since animals are such an important part of my life, pet care is naturally woven into my daily routine. As a pet parent myself to two wonderful dogs (one senior and one younger), I understand the importance of structure, love, and attention in their daily lives. Every day, I make sure pets get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and affection—whether it’s morning walks, playtime, or quiet cuddle sessions. I’m also experienced in managing different feeding schedules, administering medication if needed, and providing specialized care for pets with unique needs. When pet-sitting, I prioritize maintaining each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. Whether I’m caring for my own dogs or looking after someone else’s beloved pet, I treat them like family, making pet care a consistent and fulfilling part of my week. When caring for pets in their own home, I strive to make them feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible while their owners are away. I follow their usual schedule, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any necessary medication. I also provide companionship to ease any separation anxiety, ensuring they feel loved and secure. While in a client’s home, I respect their space and can also assist with small tasks like bringing in mail or watering plants to help maintain their home while they’re away. Regardless of where I care for pets, my goal is always to provide reliable, loving, and attentive care, treating every pet like they’re my own.

“So thankful for the help! They were all great pics, and you were extremely punctual. I also really appreciated you stoping by for a meet and greet in such short notice prior to us leaving town. Thanks again for everything!”

“Our pup loved having Anton visit and walk her while we were out of town! We also had a neighbor drop things off which he brought inside for us. We will definitely have him help us again with our pup. Thank you, Anton!”

About: My family has had large and medium size dogs for over 15 years. I have 10 years of experience, pet sitting for neighbors. I enjoy both playful and quiet dogs. I am a retired teacher and I’m available with advanced notice seven days a week. I am available for quick visits as well as overnight stays at your house. I put careful effort into following owners instructions. As an overnight sitter, I don’t mind having dogs sleep with me. I enjoy playing with dogs inside and outside.

About: I have been raised around animals my entire life which includes several hamsters, fish, dogs, a rabbit, and a cat! They’ve all lived very long healthy lives and are loved very much till this day even after passing. I still my own two dogs and cat though who continue to thrive and live out the rest of their (hopefully eternal) lives! I have loved and felt a connection to animals since I could under what they were and will continue to do so till I roam this earth. Most my experience comes from owning my own pets and taking care of families or family friends, but I believe the best type of pet sitter is one who has had their own and felt that connection with very own furry friend. From pet owner to another pet owner, I will love your pet like my very own. I am currently on summer break and won’t be returning to school till August 22nd. I have a very flexible schedule besides from Monday-Thursday where I am taking summer classes from 9am-11:15pm but other than that I am ready to work any day at any time! I also have my own car so transportation will be no problem! I am myself a very cautious pet owner and honestly tend to over think little things that might be unsafe for my pets, so you count on me that I will be the same for your pets as well. I am knowledgeable on what is safe or harmful for dogs, cats, and any of the previous animals I have owned before. I am very to the book so if you give me instructions for certain feeding times, certain walking times, or anything of that sort I will be following exactly like instructed.

About: Updated August 2025: Hi, I’m Betty! My love for dogs started with my golden retriever, Grizzly (cover picture). After Grizzly, I wanted to continue serving/loving on dogs, so I volunteered at the Maryland SPCA (also pictured) as a Dog Deputy 2, where I worked with level two (more anxious) dogs. My role involved walking them, giving them treats, refilling their water bowls, and spending one-on-one time with them in their kennels to help them feel more comfortable. My passion to care for dogs only grew, which led me to join Rover in 2023 —where I could continue spending time with dogs while providing them with attentive care. I am going on two years of experience on Rover, caring for both dogs and cats. Many of my regular clients trust me to sit for their pets repeatedly (some of them are also pictured in my profile). Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, or simply giving them company while you’re away, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. If you need a reliable pet sitter who will treat your furry friend like family—look no further! Whether your pup loves belly rubs, zoomies, or just lounging around, I’m here to make sure they have a tail-wagging good time. Let’s chat and set up the perfect care plan for your pet. Reach out to me through Rover—I can’t wait to meet your fur baby! I do work in a Children’s Center from 7AM-12:30 Mon-Fridays. I am available any time Saturday. And on Sundays, I am available anytime before 10AM and after 1:30PM (before and after church hours). During any days of the week, I am happy to provide overnight sitting at your home. I am located in Silver Spring :) In your home, I will make sure they are fed on time. To ensure this, I will have their food ready and water bowl filled. I will take them on their walks for physical activity and for their potty breaks. I will spend time playing with them and bonding with them by petting them and being affectionate towards them as I understand dogs are affectionate animals. I will tend to your dogs individual needs according to their age and limitations.

Betty D.
“Grizzly was Betty’s first family dog. When her family got him as a new pet, she originally had no intentions of growing close to the dog because it was not in her plan to have one at that time. But immediately, she fell in love with Grizzly. Turned out, Betty began the main financial provider for him, spent the most time with him, played with him until he felt tired for his nap. She made sure his water bowl was always cleaned if ever there was dirt and was happy to spoil him with apple, peanut butter, rice, kidney beans, and many many dog treats. When it came to Grizzly, Betty was extremely caring, attentive, patient, and loving towards him. In all aspects of Grizzly’s life she would give her all; whether it came to feeding him on time, using toys proper for his age and size to play with him with, or even carefully carrying him whilst he was sleeping into his crate so he was safe and secure, Betty always made sure to put Grizzly first. I could continually go on about how great Betty was at caring for Grizzly, but I’ll just leave you with these for now!”
