About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I bring that same love and dedication to every pet I care for. I have two dogs of my own—one senior and one younger—so I understand the different needs pets have at various life stages. Whether it’s providing extra care and comfort for senior pets or keeping energetic pups engaged, I tailor my approach to each pet’s personality and needs. I even got married on a petting farm to incorporate animals into one of the most special days of my life! That love and appreciation for animals extend into my pet-sitting, where I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have experience with basic training, senior pet care, and understanding animal behavior, ensuring a safe and happy experience for both pets and their owners. As a pet parent myself to two wonderful dogs (one senior and one younger), I understand the importance of structure, love, and attention in their daily lives. I’m also experienced in managing different feeding schedules, administering medication if needed, and providing specialized care for pets with unique needs. When pet-sitting, I prioritize maintaining each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. Whether I’m caring for my own dogs or looking after someone else’s beloved pet, I treat them like family, making pet care a consistent and fulfilling part of my week. When caring for pets in their own home, I strive to make them feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible while their owners are away. I follow their usual schedule, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any necessary medication. I also provide companionship to ease any separation anxiety, ensuring they feel loved and secure. While in a client’s home, I respect their space and can also assist with small tasks like bringing in mail or watering plants to help maintain their home while they’re away. Regardless of where I care for pets, my goal is always to provide reliable, loving, and attentive care, treating every pet like they’re my own.

About: My family has had large and medium size dogs for over 15 years. I have 10 years of experience, pet sitting for neighbors. I enjoy both playful and quiet dogs. I am a retired teacher and I’m available with advanced notice seven days a week. I am available for quick visits as well as overnight stays at your house. I put careful effort into following owners instructions. As an overnight sitter, I don’t mind having dogs sleep with me. I enjoy playing with dogs inside and outside.

About: I have been raised around animals my entire life which includes several hamsters, fish, dogs, a rabbit, and a cat! They’ve all lived very long healthy lives and are loved very much till this day even after passing. I still my own two dogs and cat though who continue to thrive and live out the rest of their (hopefully eternal) lives! I have loved and felt a connection to animals since I could under what they were and will continue to do so till I roam this earth. Most my experience comes from owning my own pets and taking care of families or family friends, but I believe the best type of pet sitter is one who has had their own and felt that connection with very own furry friend. From pet owner to another pet owner, I will love your pet like my very own. I am currently on summer break and won’t be returning to school till August 22nd. I have a very flexible schedule besides from Monday-Thursday where I am taking summer classes from 9am-11:15pm but other than that I am ready to work any day at any time! I also have my own car so transportation will be no problem! I am myself a very cautious pet owner and honestly tend to over think little things that might be unsafe for my pets, so you count on me that I will be the same for your pets as well. I am knowledgeable on what is safe or harmful for dogs, cats, and any of the previous animals I have owned before. I am very to the book so if you give me instructions for certain feeding times, certain walking times, or anything of that sort I will be following exactly like instructed.

Our furr baby Blake who is A mix of Jack Russel/ Pomeranian would love to make new friends. We live next to a long trail perfect for peaceful walks. We love outdoor activities and now with the warmer weather your pup will get plenty of exercise. I will maintain any schedule you have and make sure your pup gets extra loving during their stay. Our home can accommodate for those with extra energy or older dogs who want to sleep in and cuddle all day.

After Grizzly, I wanted to continue serving/loving on dogs, so I volunteered at the Maryland SPCA (also pictured) as a Dog Deputy 2, where I worked with level two (more anxious) dogs. My role involved walking them, giving them treats, refilling their water bowls, and spending one-on-one time with them in their kennels to help them feel more comfortable. My passion to care for dogs only grew, which led me to join Rover in 2023 —where I could continue spending time with dogs while providing them with attentive care. I am going on two years of experience on Rover, caring for both dogs and cats. Many of my regular clients trust me to sit for their pets repeatedly (some of them are also pictured in my profile). And on Sundays, I am available anytime before 10AM and after 1:30PM (before and after church hours). During any days of the week, I am happy to provide overnight sitting at your home. I am located in Silver Spring :) In your home, I will make sure they are fed on time. To ensure this, I will have their food ready and water bowl filled. I will take them on their walks for physical activity and for their potty breaks. I will spend time playing with them and bonding with them by petting them and being affectionate towards them as I understand dogs are affectionate animals.
