I am trained in animal care and I have been pet sitting (mostly dogs) for more than 10 years. I think dogs are really special beings and beautiful companions. I enjoy being able to give pet parents peace of mind that their loved ones are being looked after with the utmost care and compassion. I have cared for dogs of various sizes, temperaments and ages. My naturally calm and patient disposition works well with most, especially dogs that may need more time and attention, such as shy dogs or older dogs. I am available for drop-in visits, overnights and walks. For walks and drop-in visits, I still have space open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Mondays and Fridays are packed. If you have any questions about specific dates and times please feel free to send me a message here on Rover. I prefer to care for pets in their own home because it offers them a sense of security during a difficult emotional time while their humans are away. **PLEASE NOTE** I am only offering overnights to existing clients of 4-6 weeks or more, I feel it is important for me and your animal companions to get to know each other before their family goes away.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have volunteered at animal shelters for several years now. I’m comfortable with dogs of all temperaments, energy levels, and backgrounds. I’m also an avid walker, so your dog will actually get a real walk. I regularly care for other dogs beyond my own, and I’ve recently added two cats to my household, so I’m equally at home with feline guests. I work full time, so I’m available any evening after 5 PM on weekdays and anytime on weekends. Happy to discuss your needs and try and fit your schedule as much as I can. When I’m in your home, I treat it with the same care I’d want for my own. I’ll stick to your pet’s established routine (feeding, play time, and walks) so their day feels as normal as possible. I keep things tidy, clean up after every visit, and make sure food and water are fresh. I’m happy to accommodate any specific instructions about your space, your pet’s habits, or anything else that matters to you.

Animals have always been a part of my life and I look forward to using my experience to help you and your animals. SAFETY, COMFORT, and FUN are my highest priorities! I work as a full time artist and walk dogs part time. Typically Sunday through Wednesday are my available days! I’m happy to accommodate your schedule as much as possible. Safety is the priority. Before any walks I will check with you about any safety concerns such as whether your dog has behavioral issues, escapes out the door or out of their collar, or any joint pain or physical limitations they may have. I will tend to stick to routes they are familiar with as this is usually the safest route.

About: I traveled in a van for many years and before I got Richard, I cared for over twenty dogs of all sizes and temperaments all over the country. I still travel by van and offer in-home pet sitting anywhere around the American West. When I lived in Tucson, I volunteered at the shelter and fostered dogs. I will work with the schedule and routines that your dog is used to so they feel safe and secure while you’re away. I’m also an avid hiker and would love to take your pups with me on outdoor adventures if they are up for it. Also happy to take short, gentle walks. I take excellent care of the spaces where I pet sit. I will clean before I leave and will respect your privacy or any of your preferences that we discuss ahead of time.

About: I love dogs and grew up with cats. My long-distance girlfriend is taking care of our 5 year old cockapoo. I am missing dog energy in my life, and would love to meet and take care of your pet. A note: my apartment complex does not allow pit bull terriers, staffordshire terriers, rottweilers, doberman pinschers, chows, akitas, presa canarios, or alaskan malamutes. I work full tim, but only go in to the office 2-3 days a week for meetings. I am out of the house for around 8 hours on those days. I am free all day/night on weekends to care for and be with your friend. My apartment has a large outdoor area to go on long walks. The apartment is mostly hardwood floor with carpeted areas in the two bedrooms.

About: Been taking care of pets since I was 8 by family, friends, and neighbors. Experience walking, feeding, bathing, and training reinforcement for high-energy or anxious pets. I am home for the summer working part time, so I will have plenty of time to care and play with any new fury friends. I can easily crate or harness your pet if needed.
