“I left my 70 lb American Bulldog with Michelle for about 4 hours while I visited Bandelier National Monument where dogs are not allowed. She took great care of Venus. I was worried because she has a small dog and there was an incident with my dog where a small dog went after Venus and she responded in turn, causing some injury. But Michelle introduced them slowly and they ended up playing together - now I know it is not small dogs that are the problem but aggressive dogs that make her feel like she is under attack and needs to defend herself.”

“I am visiting Santa Fe from out of town, and Stephanie took care of my high-energy Labrador for the day. My dog came back to me clean and tired, and Stephanie sent me photos and updates throughout the day. I would definitely take Margot to her again!”

“Dawn was so amazing with our dog Miles. He was new to doggy day care and she helped both of us feel comfortable throughout the whole process. She was careful, considerate, and kind and we can’t wait to work with her again.”

About: I've had dogs and taken care of them since I was a young child. As an adult I’ve fostered dogs for over 5 years, taking care of all types of dogs. I have experience potty training, house breaking, bathing, and more. The dogs I have fostered came from all sorts of backgrounds; homeless, abusive households, neglected, seniors, disabled (blind, deaf, hard of hearing, missing limbs). I enjoy spending time with all animals and animals like to be around me. Currently working on my dog trainer certification I have a flexible schedule since I work from home most of the time. As a dog owner myself I spend a lot of time taking care of my dog. We go on walks 3 times a day, he gets treats, cuddles and play time all day long. On the weekends when the weather is nice we like to go for short hikes. Unfortunately I sustained a bad fall in 2024 and broke my back; so I am unable to care for any pet over 50lbs or any pet that is leash reactive or pulls on a leash. Since that would aggravate the injury and most definetely stop me from caring for pets all together; I hope you can understand! I have a small backyard where we go play fetch, we also love going to Frenchy’s or many of the other parks in the area for walks and off leash play when the weather is nice. Going for walks 2-3 times a day around the neighborhood as well
“Iosif was amazing! Great communication from start to finish sent me updates throughout the day with videos and pictures. Iosif was very careful and wanted to make sure that his dog and my dog got along and asked the appropriate questions I was traveling, but if I am in Santa Fe again, I need pet sitting he’ll be my first choice.”

“We had such a good experience leaving our Weimaraner with Eva. Our dog has separation anxiety, but with Eva he actually relaxed and seemed to enjoy himself! We received pictures throughout the stay, so we could relax and enjoy ourselves too. The location is a big plus for spending time around the plaza. We can't say enough good things about our Rover experience with Eva. Would definitely recommend.”

About: Caring for animals comes naturally, and nothing makes me happier than making them feel safe, loved, and at ease. Animals have always been part of my life, as I grew up on a farm surrounded by dogs, cats and more! I've raised puppies from 3 days old, having to bottle feed and potty train...all the way up to seniors, managing meds and declining capabilities. I volunteered at a shelter in Mexico for a year. Through that experience, I was exposed to a lot of medical and behavioral situations, which taught me a lot. My partner and I both work from home, which means your pup will never be lonely. We know how to make dogs feel comfortable, and aim to have them feel like they've taken a little vacation, too! I know leaving your pets can be stressful. I send lots of updates and pictures, so you can feel relaxed and assured your pup is happy and healthy. My partner and I work from home, and have a lot of flexibility in our schedule. We currently have a 10lb Chihuahua, who was left on our doorstep with umbilical cord still attached! At 2 years old now, he's a pretty easy going guy, and likes to be part of a pack from time to time. He usually gets 2 walks a day around the neighborhood. Or, we will do a nice long walk or hike, if time allows. We feed twice a day and provide treats for being a good dog, of course. I love to take work breaks to play tug of war or fetch. Belly rubs are available every night for all four legged residents of the house who want them! Any furry guests would fit seemlessly into our routine. We have a fenced yard, and are always home when pets are in the yard. No dangerous chemicals or pet hazards in our house. Generally, we aren't away from for more than a few hours. We are also happy to take them with us, whenever possible.

“I’d give Tami more than 5 stars if I could! I knew my pup Mila would be in good hands when Tami squatted down into “doggie play pose” :-) This was only her second time in a daycare, but Mila warmed up to her quickly and moved out to meet the dogs and explore the spacious yard. She felt comfortable and welcomed. Tami texted me with updates and pics during the day, so I didn’t have to wonder how things were going. Pick Rami for your pooch!”

About: My pets growing up were 3 dogs Lacy, Maya and Frodo as well as many kitties. Oso was my Cat, we had him from the time I was 4-14years old. We also had a chicken coop we were responsible for, horses that were our landlords but that we fed, and a fish tank with guppies and sucker fish. My 1st gig watching someone else’s pet, was for an elderly woman at my church when I was about 12. Milo was an older golden retriever. I walked him, cleaned his outside restroom area, fed, bathed, and blow-dryed him. Family and friends have always reached out to me for help over the years, I have cared for Rottweilers, pit bulls, small dogs, handicap animals, both cats and dogs. I am great with communicating and accustomed to following the routines their owners have set for them as I believe that is most respectful. My schedule is 8am-1pm. So I am free all afternoons typically Mon-Thursday. Weekend hours vary for me but I am usually available either morning or night. I have stone floors 1 roll out carpet, and live in a non-smoking apartment. I have a small backyard with dirt area and kennel. Willing to do house visits as well! Don’t mind taking dogs to parks in my car either as long as it’s okay with the owner.
“I cannot say enough positive things about Melinda's day care service for my two puppies. From the moment I dropped them off, I knew they were in good hands. Melinda was warm, friendly, and clearly experienced with dogs. She was quick replying my messages and accommodated our schedule. Highly recommended!”

About: My husband and I have an Australian cattle dog and had a tabby cat who has crossed the rainbow road. I often care for my family members' dog when they are out of town. He requires special care, as he needs to take a few pills every day both day and night. This schedule is second nature to us. We enjoy being around our furry pals and will enjoy caring for yours too! They will be treated like our own pets and will benefit from being more socialized! I have a flexible schedule because I work from home and can easily adjust to your pets needs. I work a traditional schedule leaving my weekends especially open. I have a fenced in yard and our back door has a doggie door so your dog can go in and out as they please. We also have a large dog crate if your pet is kennel trained.
“We brought our older dog with us to Santa Fe and realized that in order to see all the lovely art museums we needed to find someone to care for Zippy. Zippy has separation anxiety and we were worried about leaving him for an extended time. We had nothing to worry about. He really enjoyed his time with Victoria! He got to play with other dogs, watch the chickens, take walks. He was living his best life, while we were able to enjoy Santa Fe dog free. It was a win-win for everyone. I highly recommend Victoria for daycare.”
