About: I’ve been a vet tech in the army for 2 years. I love it! I’m trained in basic aid for dogs and cats including providing any medication. I have experience with multiple dog breeds small and big, aswell with cats. My military work hours are 6am-1pm with 1 hour lunch at 11am. I have a lenient boss and is more than willing to allow me to leave work early when something comes up. I have so much free time after work and on weekends which makes it a perfect opportunity to hangout with someone’s furry friend! I absolutely love animal interaction. I love going to the park on calm sunny days, it is calming and relaxing. I would love to bring a furry companion to enjoy it with!

I have experience with all sizes and ages of dogs, and some experience with cats. I am in the army currently, I work from 6am-1pm with an hour lunch usually from 11-12. Most weekends I am here but occasionally I travel home to visit family. Other than that I am usually free all afternoon on weekends days and all day on weekends. I have successfully raised several puppies, and my oldest dog is now 15 years old. I’m currently working part-time so my schedule allows me to enjoy time with your pet by making time to walk them, and play with them. During their walk I will make sure not to put your pet in harms way or in an environment, where they are not at ease. I will assure all pets have enough food and clean water before I leave.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Lackland Air Force Base
Briana was very kind and communicative. She took on my booking very last minute and saved my vacation after my last sitter canceled last minute the day before. She sent photos each time she made a visit. My boys really seemed to like her, the photos were so warming, silly, and I could tell they were very comfortable around her. I'm very grateful that she was able to help this past week and will definitely rebook if she's available!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lackland Air Force Base. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
