“Yue did such a great job of taking care of Lili while she was sick! Lili got diagnosed with a herniated disc during my finals week, and I needed someone to give her medication and make sure she stayed resting while I was at school. She gave Lili her meds as instructed, fed her breakfast, and sent pictures of her short stay while I was gone. I could tell Yue truly cared about Lili and her well-being, and I appreciate her putting in the extra effort to make Lili comfortable during her stay!”

“Ana was amazing and super flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, which made things so much easier for us! Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and accommodating sitter!”

“Lea is very nice and responds quickly to messages. She is very understanding of puppies and Kara is always happy to see her. I am very grateful that she is taking care of my puppy. Lea got a piece of real grass just so Kara could go potty in her patio. I’ll highly recommend her a Dogsitter.”

About: I've lived with and loved pets all my life! I grew up with two cats from infancy and my family had a dog when I was a teenager. Since then, I've had housemates with dogs for 7 years (the dogs were always the most popular roommate). I've dogsat for housemates, friends, and family members, sometimes for a week or longer at a time. I was the primary caretaker for a family member's elderly dog for most of the pandemic. I love spending time with pets and getting to know them, and seeing the world through their joyful eyes! I spend my professional life sitting down talking to people and staring at screens a lot, so I love supplementing that with quality pet time! At present, there are some days when my work responsibilities are completely remote and internet-based, and other days when I have in-person commitments. When it comes to a house-sitting arrangement, I will always communicate with you about the nature of my availability, and whether I'm able to spend time with your pet that's more similar to someone who works outside of the home, or if I'm available for a greater portion of the day. I find that clear expectations and transparent communications make everyone's experience a lot better! I am currently able to offer the following services: - Pet daycare in your own home (rate depends upon duration) - Walks - Drop-in visits - House sitting I am able to walk pets around your neighborhood or drive them to an alternate location as per your preference (beach, dog park, etc.). I can be available to make drop-in visits and/or stay with pets in your home. I am not able to offer services in my own home, as pets require registration and approval through my HOA office.

About: Growing up with dogs, I started caring for other people’s pets at a very young age, and it’s been a passion of mine ever since. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of working with a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, turtles, rabbits, lizards, fish, and more! I’ve also shared my home with dogs, cats, a ferret, a turtle, fish, and even a chinchilla, so I understand the unique needs of each furry (or scaly!) friend. For decades, I’ve been trusted to care for pets while their families are away, whether it’s walking, checking in, or staying overnight. I know how important it is to find someone reliable and loving to look after your pets, and I’m here to provide the same care and attention I’d want for my own. Let’s chat about how I can make your pet’s day a little brighter! I am a freelance designer and fine artist (specializing in pet portraits) which makes my schedule very flexible to care for your furry loved ones when needed. I understand how important it is to create a safe, calm, and loving environment for your pet. Whether it’s following your specific care instructions, maintaining a clean space, or providing plenty of playtime and affection, your pet’s well-being is my top priority. I take every precaution to ensure they feel secure and happy in my care, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: Dear Pet Parent, I’m excited to offer dog walking and pet care services through Rover. With over five years of experience fostering and training dogs, plus professional animal care work and certifications, I bring not only love and patience to every walk but also deep knowledge and hands-on skill. I'm Fear Free Certified, meaning I use low-stress handling techniques that help animals feel safe and comfortable. I’m also certified in Wildlife Rehabilitation and Zoo and Aquarium Science through the Animal Behavior Institute, where I studied animal handling, enrichment, health, and behavior. I’ve worked with the San Diego Humane Society, caring for both cats and dogs—feeding, administering meds, monitoring behavior, and providing enrichment. I've also volunteered with Wicomico County Humane Society and spent the last five years with Labs and More Dog Rescue, fostering and helping train dogs for adoption. These experiences taught me how to read animal body language, support behavior modification, and work with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Whether your dog needs an energetic walk, a slow stroll, or some extra TLC, I’ll treat them like my own—with safety, kindness, and attention to their unique needs. Thank you for considering me to care for your pet. I’d love to meet you and your furry friend! Warmly, Tarah I currently work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility and free time to devote to caring for pets. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, or playtime, I’m available throughout the day to provide attentive and consistent care. Being at home means I can easily adapt to your pet’s routine and needs, ensuring they get plenty of attention and companionship. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or at a client’s home. I always make sure the environment is secure and comfortable, checking gates, doors, and fencing before any play or walk to prevent escapes. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs and preferences to reduce stress and keep them happy. In my care, pets receive gentle handling with respect to their comfort levels, especially since I’m Fear Free Certified and trained in low-stress techniques. Whether walking, playing, or simply spending quiet time together, I ensure a calm and positive atmosphere. I also maintain clear communication with pet owners about their pet’s well-being and any changes I observe, so we can work together to keep their furry family members safe and content. I also have a 6-year-old Husky mix who is very friendly and loves meeting new dogs and cats. Having a dog of my own has given me great insight into animal behavior and the importance of careful introductions and supervised interactions. Whether your pet is playful or shy, I’m experienced in creating a safe, welcoming space where all animals can feel comfortable and secure.
