About: Lifelong Animal Lover | Experienced Walker | Your Pup’s New Best Friend Hi, I’m Casey! I’ve been around animals my whole life and have always been active with them. With decades of experience walking dogs in the city, on beaches, and along scenic trails, I know how to create a safe, fun, and enriching experience for your pup. My own dog, Apache, and I walk at least 2-3 miles a day, and I’m happy to offer solo walks for your fur baby or buddy walks with my sweet girl, Apache, if they enjoy canine companionship. Whether your pup needs a high energy adventure or a leisurely stroll, I tailor each walk to their needs. I’ll treat your dog as if they were my own, ensuring a safe, loving, and stress-free experience while giving you peace of mind. Since I’m very particular about who watches my own pup, I completely understand how important trust is, so let’s schedule a meet & greet first to make sure it’s a great fit! I’d love to care for your furry family member—let’s get them out for some fresh air, fun, and tail wags! 🐾💙 I am self-employed and work from home, which means your pets will get my full attention throughout the day and during overnight stays. Whether they need extra snuggles, playtime, or just someone to keep them company, they’ll be in loving, attentive hands 24/7! I also have a sweet, joyful, and very friendly and spoiled 9-year-old dog, Apache, who loves making new friends and going on long walks. If your pet enjoys company, they’ll have an amazing time with us! But if they prefer their space, I’m happy to provide solo care tailored just for them. Let’s set up a meet & greet, I’d love to care for your furry family member! 🐾💙 I have a fully fenced yard, ensuring a safe and secure environment for your furry friend. In our home, animals are welcome on the furniture and beds—we love to get cozy and cuddle! Baths and healthy (approved by you) treats included at no charge during your stay!

About: I have been dog sitting for 6 years now I have been a dog lover/ owner for years. As far back as the can recall I’ve loved dogs. I’d be a great fit for your pet sitting needs! i have open availability since I am a stay at home mother of 3.. My children are such dog lovers as well. When ever anyone we know gets a new puppy, they want to keep it or take care of them often times we do allow the puppies to stay a couple of days, but not to long so the children don’t get to attached.
About: I have taken care of pets basically my entire life, of course I have had to learn and improve my skills from when I was younger. My family members have many pets which they rely on me to take care of when they are unable to. I am also going to school for a degree in biological sciences in hopes to find a career as a vet tech or anything which will allow me to work closely with animals. :) I am a 4th year biological science major at UC Merced. I hope to pursue a career which will allow me to work with animals closely while also spending time outdoors. I also am very interested in learning about animal husbandry and pet care. I love taking walks in the mornings and evenings, perfect for when dogs need to go potty! My services are mostly in clients’ homes because I have two cats and a small house which will not be big enough for larger animals like dogs. The way I care for pets in clients’ homes will be up to the client themselves as every pet parent has different ground rules and boundaries for their fur babies. I will do the basics like feeding and playing but will refrain from most other things unless requested to avoid stepping over boundaries, especially in other people’s homes.
About: Animals are my weakness, I have one dog and she is my world, she is 12 years old, a small maltese named coco. I believe they are more than just a pet but family, She will get along with your doggy and will be happy to have company other than my own.I will make sure your fur babies will be happy and safe. I am currently not working right now so I am available monday through friday anytime you would like and on weekends I can do only mornings. I have a fenced yard for when they go outside to potty and will be brought back inside when done due to weather and they should be treated like family too. I can also take them on walks/play at the park.
“Wonderful experience! This was our first time using a sitter and Nicole was awesome! She sent pictures daily and communicated quickly. I came home to a happy dog! She also left us an adorable card and picture of our fur baby. We will definitely use Nicole's services again in the future! ”
About: ****BIG PACK FRIENDLY, MULTI-ANIMAL FRIENDLY, FARM ANIMAL FRIENDLY**** I do not judge and welcome all critters and special needs/routines. Don’t hesitate to reach out and ask. I've had pets my entire life! I currently have dogs, cats, birds, and turtles. I foster homeless and lost pets that I find out in the streets, including hawks lol. I am very respectful with senior and disabled dogs. I am happy to give your pets medicine (if any), make homemade dog food if that's what you do, be alert when taking smaller dogs outside to pee, make sure pets don't sneak outside and ensure gates are locked to prevent run-aways. I love my pets and I will ensure to take care of your pets as I would with mine. I will make them feel comfortable, safe, loved while you are away, so don't worry! I will be happy to also send pictures and videos and hop on facetime, so you can chat with your babies! Please make sure to vet any sitter you hire. I have 3 reoccurring clients that I can give as references if needed. I work at office Tuesday-Thursday. Work from home on Mondays and Fridays. Available weekends. For certain circumstances, I can work from home, request PTO to adjust to your needs. Please ask to see what I can do for you. But when working from home, I am very attentive and always checking in and playing with pets. I often step away from my work to tend to your pets needs whether that's taking them out for a walk, out to pee/poop, feed them, play and take any medication of theirs (if any). I will take care of your pets as I take care of mine. I will ensure they are always in my sight and not be distracted on my phone. One thing about me is that I like to be present and not scroll away on my phone as much while on the job. I am always alert to hear if any pets are not chewing on things they're not supposed to in case of a choking hazard. In the past with foster pets, I've had to clear airways for them when they were choking, so I'm not afraid to stick my hand in their mouths to remove the object/food. I will ensure gates and doors are locked to prevent runaways.

About: Hi! I’m Analise, a college student finishing up my last semester, which means I have plenty of flexibility and time to give your pets the attention and care they deserve! I’ve been caring for dogs my entire life, from energetic puppies to sweet senior pups. I especially love working with high energy dogs, anxious dogs, and pets who need medication or extra care. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable adjusting my care to each pet’s individual needs and personality. As a full-time student with college classes three days a week and a part-time job, I’ve learned how to manage my time effectively. I carefully plan my schedule to make sure I can fit pet care in between my other responsibilities. On my days off from college or work, I’m fully available for longer visits, walks, or extended care. On busier days, I still have time between classes or shifts for quick check-ins, feeding, or short walks. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy, so I always make sure it fits smoothly into my weekly routine I’m very careful and always pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs. Whether I’m in my home or the client’s, I make sure the pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I follow any specific instructions and routines closely, making sure the animal gets the right food, exercise, and attention. I’m also loving and playful, so pets not only feel looked after, they have fun too! I treat every dog like they’re my own.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
