“I was so nervous to leave my babies with a stranger, especially after having just lost one but every day that Lisa stopped by helped ease my anxiety. She gave me advice, got some BEAUTIFUL pictures of them, and was super communicative and thorough! She even lent them some toys so they wouldn’t be bored. I’m so beyond pleased with my experience with Lisa and would absolutely love to book with her again!”

About: I have 14 years of experience taking care of dogs and cats. I want to help support your dog's health and longevity with quality walks so they can live a beautiful fulfilling life with their owners. I also provide cat companionship! I am able to work 7 days a week with availability in the morning and evening. During the weekends I can spend a longer period of time with your pet. A typical walk will be 30 to 60 minutes depending on your preference. For home visits I do feeding, medication, give pets love and attention, and conduct any low maintenance grooming. These services are offered for both dogs and cats.
“Andrea was AMAZING! Her communication is incredible and her love of our pups was like no other sitter we’ve had before. We not only recommend Andrea, but we plan to use her exclusively in the future!”

About: I’m Bri, an avid pet owner and amazing pet sitter. I believe in playing immensely with your pets, giving them alkaline water with ice in it, talking to them like humans, taking the out often for potty breaks, making them smile, petting them, giving them belly rubs, keeping you updated always with pics and videos, and feeding them the best food or your preferred food. I’m currently a business owner who operates in my home so I have plenty of time to take care of your babies very closely just as I do my own one and a half golden retriever Saisha who is well mannered, potty trained, super sweet and a joy to be around. I hope to instill the same characteristics into your pets. I have a beautiful fenced propriety with a dog run. Your babies will have plenty of space to run around in and play in. They will be so happy to be in my yard. I can feel the warmth of their smiles from here.

About: I have been dog sitting for 6 years now I have been a dog lover/ owner for years. As far back as the can recall I’ve loved dogs. I’d be a great fit for your pet sitting needs! i have open availability since I am a stay at home mother of 3.. My children are such dog lovers as well. When ever anyone we know gets a new puppy, they want to keep it or take care of them often times we do allow the puppies to stay a couple of days, but not to long so the children don’t get to attached.
About: I spent every summer on my grandparents’ farm, caring for furry, scaly, and feathered friends. Those experiences taught me early on how to give animals the love, attention, and proper care they deserve. Today, I bring that same experience and compassion to every pet I look after—offering reliable care, plenty of playtime, and lots of cuddles whenever you need. I work from home and am a mom to twin 1-year-old girls, so my days are busy but full of love—and flexible enough to give plenty of attention to pets. I’m home throughout the day for cuddles, playtime, and care. My cousin also works from home, so we make a great team—your furry pals will always have extra eyes on them and plenty of company. It’s a happy, lively home where pets get lots of love and attention all day long. I have a fully fenced yard with separate areas for playful or shy pups, plus indoor dog-friendly spaces. My two friendly dogs provide companionship, and I have large crates for pets needing quiet time. Every pet in my care stays safe, comfortable, and happy.

About: I love animals. They deserve the world and that's why I'm here for you. I have pets of my own and understand the need to know that your babies are in good hands. I have experience with large dogs, small dogs, cats, birds. Sneaking medicine in treats. Baby talking them. IPad pets too. I have 3 days off at the end of the week and am available to come and hang out with your babies. Walks, Feeding, cleaning their areas. All my cats are indoor cats. Safety and health is my number 1 priority for them. I know the anxiety of leaving a door open so I will make sure they are always safe.
About: Ive taken care of dogs since I was 16. My older sister has trusted me to check in on her dogs since she left for the navy. I’m currently going to community college and I have some free time. I am available during the week on Mondays and Fridays after 11am. In my family we have cats and dogs. I mostly take care of the cats. I feed them, their with me when I do my hobbies, and I clean their litter regularly.
About: I’ve had years of kennel experience and working hands on with animals of different breeds especially the big breeds. I’ve dog sat for my family for years whenever someone goes out of town and they have 4-5 dogs they call me to house sit and take care of there fur babies for however long they are gone. Walking, feeding and of course cuddles are a huge part of how I care for others animals so they still feel loved even when their owners are out of town. I work a part time job at a grooming and boarding facility in town so taking care of animals is an every day thing for me. I love dogs especially owning 6 of my I have a fenced yard, 6 fur babies if my own. So dog/cat care are a natural instinct that I have. I never leave my dogs unattended so I would never leave anyone else’s dog alone unattended. Safety is my biggest concern when it comes to anyone’s Fur Babies
“Sami was super friendly and communicated really well . I appreciated the pictures and updates. She brought our packages in. I even think she emptied our trash! I would totally book her again.”

“I am late to reviewing this awesome human. She helped my mother and I at last min with my cat Akiyo. Akiyo loved her and took to her the moment she came over to meet us and him. She sent us pics and made sure to let us know when she was coming by and leaving our home. I would definitely use her again if I was still living in the AV.”

“Laura & Ryan were amazing! They responded quickly and were able to help me out super last minute. They kept me updated, provided pictures during the visit, and made the whole process stress-free. I really appreciated the communication and care they gave Dino. Definitely recommend and would book with them again!”

About: I grew up with dogs. They've always been a part of my life. Recently however, I've done a fair amount of learning dog training theory and have first hand experience raising two high energy male dogs! One (Pit mix) has major aggression issues with people and other dogs, which has fast tracked the learning process out of necessity. I love dogs and am very comfortable around them/competent handling them. As a side bonus, I can also work on any training goals you may have for your dog as I watch them! I currently have a lot of free time. Aside from taking care of my dogs, I'm available to help with just about any pet care requests! This depends entirely on the dog. I believe in something called the freedom/responsibility quotient. Basically, a dogs freedom in any environment should be pretty closely proportionate to their ability to handle that freedom. For example; a puppy that is house training will have more limited freedom than a 5 year old trained dog. The puppy may spend more time in gated areas and under closer supervision to make sure they make it outside for potty training and don't chew the wrong things etc. That well-trained 5 year old dog may have full run of the house with an open doggy door. I take into account training level, training goals, environment, and owner rules ("policies") when taking care of a dog.
“Jessie is the best! My cat can be very anxious around new people, but Jessie made it so easy for my senior cat (14 years old) to come to her and made her feel very comfortable. Plus, Jessie is very respectful of my home and my privacy. I appreciate her professional cat-sitting services. I already have Jessie booked for future services. :)”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Victorville
Sarah did an amazing job taking care of my babies while I was away. She came three times a day and was always on point with every instruction I left. I was able to check in through my pet camera, and it was clear that my dogs loved her instantly and felt comfortable around her. She was reliable, attentive, and treated them like they were her own. Knowing they were in such caring hands gave me complete peace of mind during my trip. She kept everything clean, made sure they were happy and comfortable, and never missed a thing. I could tell they genuinely looked forward to seeing her each day. I highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and truly caring. I would absolutely book with her again without hesitation! ❤️🐾

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
